Yep, I'm a convert. This stuff is great, and has delivered on the promise of simplifying my skin care routine and improving my skin. I have been using it day and night in place of all other moisturizers and treatments, and blotchy red skin, flakes, and breakouts have subsided.

For years I have tried to rely on "natural" skin care products, but I have only recently begun researching in detail all the ingredients I put on my skin. It's been frustrating realizing how much irritating, useless, and sometimes toxic crap there is even in the crunchy hippie brands I have used in the past.

I discovered "Subversive Apothecary" through the Skin Deep database, and was immediately impressed when I read the "pledge" on their website. Yeah, I thought, it's about time somebody did this. Simple, research-based skincare that caters to my intelligence and not my insecurities.

It's sort of pricey, but totally worth it - a little goes a long way and it's the only product of its kind out there.

I loved this serum! I got a free sample of this from their website after reading about it on a beauty blog. The serum arrived 2 days after I ordered it and immediately I loved the way it felt on my skin and how hydrated it made me feel. My first sample fell on the floor, the first day I got it. The sample bottles are ridiculous and are like little perfume sample bottles, and on the end of the bottle (opposite the opening), is curved and you cannot rest it on a flat top surface, it'll fall over. Well I didn't realize this and it dropped, spilling all over my bathroom floor. Well they sent me a 2nd sample and I got about 4-5 uses out of it. Previously the prices on the site were 1 oz for $68 2 oz for $216, But I see they lowered their prices and the 1 oz is now $48. Still waaay to expensive for me, as I am a college student and do not make a ton of money here! :[ Subversive Apothecary states when using this serum, all you need is a face wash and this serum. No toners, no moisturizers containing harsh ingredients and fragrances, only their fragrance-free serum, which contains all natural products. Upon using this serum I noticed immediately my parched, dehydrated skin was softer, smoother and healthier looking. If I could afford this product I would repurchase it. Maybe once I graduate and get a better job? :D

I'm a big oil fan. I love DHC's cleaning oil. I stopped using eye cream and started using Vitamin E oil instead. So I was pleasantly surprised by Subversive Apothecary's Anti-Aging Serum.

FREE OF: petrochemical derivatives, preservatives, fragrance, irritants (including essential oils), silicones, crosspolymers, copolymers, -cones, and –siloxanes, comedogenic ingredients. It's also free of water and fillers.

This oil is amazing! I has replaced my eye cream and I am using it as my daily moisturizer after washing my skin in the morning with Purpose Gentle Cleanser. Love it!

I'm not usually a buyer of "luxury" skin care products, but this treatment serum won me over. It is fragrance, paraben, silicone, and petrochemical free. Its ingredients are all-natural. So many natural products these days contain irritating, strong-smelling essential oils (the "natural fragrance" that is now everywhere you look), but fortunately for my sensitive skin, this one doesn't. It has no scent at all!

The texture is a light, pleasant oil that absorbs into the skin quickly. I use it morning and night after cleansing. I use it in place of my old moisturizer (Cerave) and treatment creams (retinoids).

I can honestly say that this product has significantly improved the look and feel of my skin. It's clearer looking, and it has a "glow" to it that I never got using my Cerave moisturizer. It's no where near as harsh as the retinoid anti-aging products I've used, yet it performs as well or better. It's my new HG!

The Subversive Apothecary web site says that the serum is part of a 5-product regimen, but the other products have yet to be developed. I can't wait to see how the other products perform.

Ingredients: Grapeseed Oil; Olive Extract (Squalane); Ceramides; Antioxidant Booster (Pomegranate (Punica Granatum) Seed Oil, Rosehip (Rosa Affinis Rubiginosa) Seed Oil, Alpha-D-Tocopherol (vitamin E), Lycopene, Tocotrienols, Astaxanthin, Lutein, Beta Carotene and Alpha Lipoic Acid); Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone); Soy Lecithin
