I've been on a spree recently of drugstore naturalish skincare products. I used to use ren and lush and more upmarket stuff, but they never did enough to merit the price tag, so now that these cheaper natural products are coming out at Boots, I had to give them a try. I was skeptical about this Good Things brand, as alot of the things they boast are extracts whereas I think lush puts the actual product in, so I thought hmm is it really going to have an effect? I picked up face the day moisturiser as my nivea pure and naturals moisturiser wasn't enriching enough for me. I tend to have dry flaky patches every morning when I wake up and the nivea was doing zilch to help the dryness. Although I was skeptical about face the day, and I'm still not sure how it does it, it is 100% a definite improvement from nivea pure naturals. It actually moisturises my skin, I've for the first time in months in this hot dry weather woken up and had no dry patches and my dehydrated as hell face! Miracle! The smell is a bit sickly, but I don't mind it as I'm used to lush. This is £7.99 for a generous 100ml, it's not too greasy, sinks in quickly so good for pre make up. It does give a tad of shine on my cheeks and nose so if you're oily skin stay away from this!! The range has a mattifying moisturiser, definitely go use that, face the day is for normal and dry skins. I've also tried and reviewed the cleanser which I was surprisingly impressed with as well! Intriguing range, will defo be trying more

I was browsing for a face cream in Boots and Good Things Face the Day Moisturiser claimed that it contained no parabens and the usual nasties you find other skincare products so I bought it. Big mistake. Despite all the good intentions of this product the smell of it makes me feel sick when I put it on my face. I didn't think the scent of Papya and Goji berry would be so overpowering. It smells fruity in a dirty way, if that makes sense. It doesn't have the refreshing lightness of fruit scents. Anyway, I would have persevered with using this, even with the dreadful smell because of its natural ingredients but it gives me spots too. I couldn't believe it. I thought the lack of artificial chemicals would be good for my skin. Using this made it worse than ever. It could be that this moisturiser reacts badly to my skin type and works well for other people but I won't be repurchasing.

I have dry acne-prone skin and this is a good moisturiser that stops my skin drying out without breaking me out... It smells gorgeous! I does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin.. I apply this after cleansing in the morning and follow with my clinique spf40..I then apply my primer and makeup.. My makeup goes on so smoothly since using this moisturiser and it lasts all day without my skin looking flakey or dry. I will definitely be repurchasing this when it finishes...

This moisturiser smells absolutely fantastic - a lovely blueberry scent that only amplifies the pleasure of applying this moisturiser first thing in the morning.

I apply this moisturiser after washing my face in the morning. This moisturiser sinks in well into my skin. As I apply this under my skin, I like to leave the moisturiser on my face for 2 minutes, and then go ahead with my daily make-up routine. Through the course of a 13 hour work day, where I tend to rub my face and blot with oil film, this moisturiser does wonders for locking in the moisture. I tend to judge by how flakey my skin looks - a frustrating occurance when I have oiley skin!!! - and this moisturiser leaves me flake free.

Also, the natural ingredients make it fantastic! Highly recommended.
