If there was one item I would buy and use for the rest of my life, it would be Tom Ford's Pink Dusk lipstick. This is a beautiful, natural nude that is an absolute classic, and is the perfect foil for any dramatic eye make-up look or even a simple, everyday 'no make-up make-up look'. It is moisturizing, hydrating and has a gorgeous colour pay-off. It isn't too matte, and it isn't too shiny, it falls perfectly in the middle. As a colour, it is a great neutral that doesn't show up too chalky or too dark on my lips.

For me, this is the perfect lipstick in the perfect colour, and I could just get by with this lipstick alone in my collection.

This lipstick is very expensive but definitely worth the money! The color is great, a very pretty nude that works well with my warm but fair skin tone. The packaging makes it appealing also. Definitely my go to lipstick!

Ah, Tom Ford lipsticks. So creamy, so longlasting...and such a love of chalky shades! I am pale, and yet this light pink nude shade is just the slightest bit chalky on me. I can wear it because the hint brown (a tiny teeny hint) saves it - and me. Oddly this light shade is harder to put on as it's actually lighter than my lips, so it took some blotting, lip pressing and second and third coats to get it to be uniform. I am NOT a fan of high maintenance lip shades! I think had I tried this at a counter, it would not be in my possession, but I ordered it online and it sat in its box and in the plastic wrapper until at least 6 months afterwards, so I felt I couldn't in good conscience return it to the store. I asked my husband his opinion, and he thought it was fine, so I think it's a matter of personal preference. I like darker shades, and so if you like light, creamy nude-pinks, you will probably love this. I like more beige-pink-plum (aka, darker) so it's not my favorite. However TF makes an amazing lipstick formulation, so I will buy others in the future. His lipsticks are very 'adult' - opaque, creamy, never glittery/sparkly. They feel grown up!

Love TF lipsticks, but this color didn't work on me so much. I don't have a lot of pinks at all, really only one from Chanel, but until I finish that one, I won't be investing in this one. Bought others, just not this one. That said, it is a lovely shade of pink, and I can see it working on people that are blue based toned...with brown hair and blue shadow. But on me, meh.

The only reason I wouldn't buy this again is only the shade.. I have too many a shade like this..

I love the creamy texture of it... It feels like it could spill a little if I apply too much because it's that soft on my lips..

the shade is a lovely deep pink.

These lipstick has been all the rave lately, but seriously at $65AUD my expectation bar went from top to OTT and I was not going to accept anything less from this lipstick.
Much to my dismay this lipstick was a complete let down!
The colour was extremely gorgeous and I could see this colour would be a hit for most people, myself included.
However the quality of the lipstick is questionable for the price. I know with lipstick the dryer the formulation, the longer the lasting power. Matte lipstick tends to be dryer then any sheen lipstick, but they tend to last a lot longer, MAC matte lipstick is one of my absolute favourite, they glide on well and doesn't feel drying on my lips, nor look or comes across as patchy.
Tom Ford lipstick on the other hand, feels extremely dry, and it did dry out my lips, and worst of all it was patchy all over, the result looks rather horrendous and cheap, which is not right for a lipstick I paid $65AUD for! I did go to see this in person, but I only ever swatched it on my hands and never my lips(I find testers are disgusting its been on people's hands and lips, it doesn't matter how well the MUA at the counter sterilises it, it's still disgusting!).
I've already spent $65AUD on this lipstick, quiet disappointed, yet happy in a way, I thought the minute I brought this lipstick, it would be the beginning of a brand new lipstick addiction and collection, that would be quiet expensive, but THANK GOD THAT'S NOT THE CASE!
I teamed this lipstick with a cheap Witchery pale pink gloss that I have lying around, and the result is actually quiet nice. the gloss helps hydrate my lips and helps nude out my lips a little more, while this lipstick provide like a pink base for my lips. When I teamed this with my Witchery gloss, the colour that I get is a warm pale nude pink that's almost perfect for my skin tone, and it was rather beautiful.
The lipstick alone was a let down, but when teamed with a pale pink gloss it was actually a hit. However I cant justify paying $65AUD for a lipstick that cant be worn alone.

I love the color (compliments my tan), the classic and fancy packaging, the smell of the lipstick (I think it's very light vanilla but I can't say for sure - nevertheless it smells great), the smoothness, etc. The only thing I find a bit inconvenient is that, you need a bit of time for the lipstick to ‘melt’ after applying on your lips, esp. in winter. It won't blend right away and it looks awkward in the beginning. However, this normally solves itself in 5 minutes – just not good for a quick touch up if you’re at a party. Overall, I love Tom Ford’s cosmetic products and I think I’ll buy it again (when my pocket can affords).

Best lipstick I have ever used. I have a problem with nude lipsticks as my lips are naturally quite pigmented and I have very pale skin, a nude is usually either too warm or too dead looking for my skin and lip color. Pink Dusk is perfect, a slightly rosy nude which is like my own lips but better, it looks very natural but polished. The packaging is fab, very elegant and the lid makes a nice expensive sounding click when putting it back on the tube. The lipstick itself is highly pigmented but still moisturizing, unlike some where longevity and color is achieved by having to put up with a dryish formula. A very nice feature I have noticed of this lipstick is that although it does last well, as it fades, it does so in a very even manner so you end up with a lip stain, no patches to speak of. I think Tom really nailed it with this one, Pink Dusk works well with a smokey eye or for a more natural daytime look, it gives you very classy yet natural lips. Don't expect much in the way of shimmer or shine from this, it is what I call a true lipstick, it has a slight sheen but no real shine or sparkle, but it really doesn't need it - I think this lipstick is just about perfect. Yes it is expensive but I personally think it is worth investing in this lipstick, you will use it time and time again. If I have one criticism, I worry that the stick itself might break easily as the width of the lipstick feels a little thin for the surrounding tube, so I do apply carefully without using much pressure. But maybe I am just paranoid due to the price!

Tom Ford's lipstick (and indeed entire cosmetic line) was something I deemed to be far too expensive to justify. But then I saw it in person, and a crafty sales associate helped me try them on, and I realized how many pink/browns were in the line...and I caved. At $48, these lipsticks are the most expensive I've ever purchased, however, soon after I bought it I realized that they were only $1 more expensive than my previous title holder, the Guerlain Rouge G...AND the Clé de Peau, Sisley, Kanebo, and La Prairie lipsticks I had been eyeing were even more expensive. So what was it about the Tom Ford that seemed so unattainable to me? And why, when I put it on, did it feel like the most luxurious lipstick I'd ever worn? The only answer I can come up with is marketing, in which case, well done. The first thing you notice when you apply is the smell. It's not a cloying smell, like some lipsticks but it is lightly scented. This might even be a byproduct of the ingredients, and not even something done on purpose, that's how light and fresh it is. When it applies, it goes on in one stroke, beautifully creamy, very opaque, but not mask-like (not too thick). When my lips weren't well hydrated, it did settle into my lip lines, but when I wear lip balm and lip liner beneath (as I usually do) it doesn't feather. This isn't billed as a long lasting lipstick, and it isn't. It smudges when you eat, drink, touch your lips, etc, but so do most lipsticks that aren't specifically lacquers so I didn't deduct points for that. It also isn't supposed to be specifically hydrating, but I did find that it was remarkably un-drying. So while it wasn't particularly moisturizing, it also didn't strip my lips of what was left. It wasn't so much shiny as "sheen-y" which is also how I prefer my lipsticks. They almost seemed as though it were the Teint Miracle of lipsticks (the whole lit from within concept, as opposed to additives to make you look dewy/pearly like other foundations) if that makes sense. I purchased two lipsticks, one of the originals and one of the new launch: Pink Dusk and Pink Adobe. Both are dusty, dusty pinks (my favorite colors for lips) and both were remarkably distinct, despite being very similar in tube. While there are others that have slight shimmer, neither of these exhibited those qualities. Once I realized how distinct the colors were, I put Spanish Pink, Indian Rose, and Sable Smoke on my wish list. Other makeup blogs insinuate that you really don't need multiple from the pink line, and they're probably right, but dusty pink to mauve is my personal favorite lipstick look so for me they're different enough to represent a unique place in my collection. In summation: It's like Tom Ford thought "let's build AnselmReyle's perfect lipstick."

For me, this is definitely a 'your lips but better' kind of colour. In Australia, the price is a whopping $64, which I was happy to pay but I am still on the fence about whether I'd be willing to pay it again. Don't get me wrong, I really do love this lipstick and recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality, better than natural lip colour. But, given the ridiculous amount of lipsticks I already own, I have a feeling it will be a long while before I use this baby up and when I finally do, I imagine I'll probably be more inclined to try a different colour considering the price. The packaging is magnificent, every time I pull it out of my purse to apply, friends ask me what brand it is and where I got it. It's very luxurious feeling, and just putting it on makes me feel 10x better on a miserable day. The scent is vanilla-ery, not as sweet but a little more potent than MAC lipsticks. If you don't like vanilla, this lipstick will probably drive you insane.
The texture is creamy and moisturising, I know some people find them a bit waxy, but I don't see that (and I hate, hate, hate waxy lipsticks). Not the most moisturising lipstick I've tried, but good enough so that I don't feel the need to apply a rich lip balm before using it.

I love this lipstick and it is BY FAR the most expensive I have purchased. The color and pigmentation on this lipstick is amazing and it glides on so effortlessly. I picked this color out bc I knew it would go with basically anything! If I had the extra cash, I would so pick out a few colors. If you have the moolah to spend and you want a really high end lipppy, this is definately it! I also love the vanilla smell than the MAC ones! Im also scared to use this often cuz it might get wasted faster hahhaha. But as far as staying power, its pretty amazing! i find i dont have to reapply as often and it doesnt dry out my lips! Ohhh and may I say that the lovely white packaging with the gold is sooo beautiful! I get loooks everytime I pop this bad boy ouut! I would also recommend people buy it cuz soon they are changing the packaging to a brown color >.< but anywaaays, I looooove this :))

Best lipstick
I am so happy that I tried and bought them.
I have smoke red and pink dusk by far.
All the colour of this collection are really great. At least to my skin tone. I am yellowish tan but not too dark. Even though there are only 12 colours but I feel everything I need are there. I am even thinking to buy all of them.
Apart from colour, I love the texture of it and also it is kind of matte looking which I prefer. I always find matte more modern and sexy in a way but matte lipstick can be quite uncomfortable to wear sometimes. This one doesn't have this problem.
Also love the full coverage of it. It will show the colour on your lip pretty much as on the stick.
I am not sure about lasting power as I re apply my lipsticks all the time. Trying to finish them all asap so I can have perfect excuse to buy more and more!
The only thing I don't like too much is the packaging. It s very nive to look at but really too big.. I prefer something small like NARS.
I think I m getting the sandy one pretty soon!

My favorite lipsticks are YSL rouge Coutoure until Nordstrom finally got these in stock again. I have four of these lovely lippies, Morrocan Rouge, Ginger Fawn, Smoke Red and Pink Dusk I am an NC42 for reference. I was going to purchase Pure Pink but found MAC Gulabi lipstick from Mickey Contractor as a great dupe color wise but most likey will purchase Pure Pink still because of the texture which is what sets these Tom Ford lipsticks apart from others. I mean you can find similar colors of these lipsticks like I've mentioned before but the texture are creamy without slipping, lasts for hours especially the colorful shades coz they stain your lips even after drinking or eating, they are moisturizing and Tom Ford covered all the colors that you would ever need. For evening I wear Morrocan Rouge, Ginger Fawn for summer, Smoke Red for day or night and Pink Dusk when I wear smokey eye looks. Don't get me wrong I wear them during the day also whenever I don't feel like wearing much makeup and just want a pop of color I reach for these.

I bought this over the summer when I was in America and I absolutely love it! It has such a great consistency, smell, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous, and there is a great range of colors to choose from in the line. Pink Dusk is a great natural pink, as its not as muted as a nude but not as harsh as some pinks can be.
The only thing I didnt like was the price - $48 with tax (in New York). I don't know if I'll buy it again because its so pricey, but if i do splurge again, I'll probably buy the color bruised plum or vanilla suede.

i have always been looking out for the perfect warm pink lipstick, something that is not too blue toned (i have yellow undertone complexion NC25-30).. this is PERFECT.. =)
its not too pale as a pink lipstick, but can still be pale enough to wear as a nude lipstick.. as in you can wear it down with a simple eye makeup and it will still be pink enough, or you can wear it up with a smokey eyes and it is not too pink.. if that make sense.. =p

the only thing is the price.. but for the luxurious packaging and the moisturizing formulation.. i think if you've got some extra cash then its a nice splurge. xx

I am totally crazy about this lipstick !
When I heard about Tom Ford's lipsticks I wanted to check them out. I got Blush Nude because they did not had the Pink Dusk anymore.
I really like Blush Nude but it is too fair, it is quite difficult to wear for me.
BUT, when I finally found Pink Dusk, I got it, tried it and got so many compliments that I could not believe it.
I wear it with some bronzer and smokey eyes (light or more dramatic) and I feel so sexy.. and it works ;o)
I had to invest on these and buy backups but I really hope they will not discontinue this lipstick, never ever...
I wear it either on its own or with gloss, any pink or beige gloss looks great over it.
It is like magic in a tube, the tube is one of the most beautiful you can find out there and this color is pure magic for me...
To say the truth I never felt this way about a lipstick, I love "nearly" everything about it, the packaging, the smell, the texture, the color, what I do not like is the lasting power, that I am afraid that they discontinue it and that it is SO expensive !!
Take a look at the swatches on the internet to have an idea of the color, it is a nudish pink but hard to describe, just go check it out !
Edit : I just cannot find anything like it... I add a picture of some swatches even if with flash it is not very realistic... I have been trying to find a dupe but no luck yet... will have to stick to the real one...
