I am really loving this foundation! I bought it about 6 months ago but stopped using it when the pump broke (which is why I took off a lippie) but recently dug it out again. My biggest pet peeve with fair foundations is that they are almost always too pink on my skin, which has yellow undertones. Seriously, even the slightest pink tint looks like pepto bismol on me. Gross. I remembered the shade that matches me, Porcelain, was definitely yellow undertoned, so I started using it again and I LOVE it. It's the perfect amount of coverage (medium) and doesn't look cakey. I apply it with my Sephora pro foundation brush and set it with my coty airspun powder and it's a great combination. Love that it has sunscreen in it too. For 6 bucks, you have to try this!

My 72 yr. old mom has been using this and loving it. She tried to switch now and again, but kept going back to this. FINALLY, I bought this for $6 , mind you! I had been using many high end foundations, but not loving them. I kept trying to find a drugstore gem that I would love. THIS is it! The texture and finish of the best dept. store foundation, as well as the packaging. The same day I bought this, I caved into the reviews re: Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer and Treatment. The one with the bulbous sponge top. I Love this! I bought it in Light which is too light for me but I will return it for the Medium and the Neutralizer colors. It covers my dark circles and doesn't budge. Check out the reviews for both..they're cheap enough to try them for yourself! Bet you are pleasantly surprised as I was.

Usually I wear a BB cream, but there are some days I need a little more.
Porcelain had ja slighpt yellow tint, but better than too pink. I used a beauty blender. Has a medium coverage and smooth creamy texture. I didn't notice any strange odor. Coverage is buildable, but I like the fact my freckles show through. This foundation is not greasy, but does not look super matte. I only give a dusting of good old Coty loose translucent across the nose. This foundation does not siettle in the fine lines and little wrinkles. Suprisingly matches my neck pretty well. Glad I read the reviewers thst said foundation ran darker than expected. I would usually pick almond or sand. I do use a primer and sunscreen under this foundation. For 6 bucks, this is a nice foundation in an upscale, attractive package. Like the pump.

I love this foundation! I have combination skin and a medium to olive complexion. I purchased the porcelain shade which is a bit too light for me, but that's my own mistake. The product goes on thick but it blends perfectly and doesn't feel heavy like most other thick foundations. The staying power is great - after a long day of sweating in the sun it had barely lifted. Although it doesn't cover my pimples very well, it does cover my acne scars, redness and pigmentation amazingly! My skin looks flawless whilst wearing this (with the exception of stubborn pimples which seem to suck up any foundation I try!)

I will definitely be restocking on this foundation - you just can't beat that price!

As a huge ELF fan, I really wanted to like this foundation but I just couldn't. I purchased two shades, Buff & Sand, and neither really matched my medium, neutral skin tone - one was too light and the other too dark. Blending the two seemed to help in that area but there were other flaws that were too big to ignore. One, this stuff has zero staying power. Even with setting powder AND a setting spray, this stuff was transferring within 2 hours of application. I felt like it actually accentuated my lines and pores - certainly NOT flawless. It dries tacky, so it's not really dry, which would explain the almost immediate smudging. I do love the packaging - frosted glass bottle, pump dispenser - very chic. And the $6 price point is a plus, but the product itself isn't all that. Maybelline's Fit Me is a much better option (performance and shade selection) at about the same price.

Such an affordable foundation and the coverage is good!!! I also love the presentation, it looks high end. What I do not like is the color selection, Im very pale and the lightest shade I found was too dark for me (what I did was that after applying this foundation , I put on my powder which was 1 shade lighter than my skin tone to mix & compliment both colors and get a balanced look). The other thing I sort of dislike is the durability. It stays put for a couple hours only, around 5 maximum, but I'd definitely buy this again, I have combination skin and this NEVER broke me out.

Nice coverage but lightest color is too dark for fair skin.

when i bought this foundation, the store's lightest shade was sand at the time and i wasn't sure if it would match my skin tone and i generally have a hard time finding a foundation that matches my pale face. because of this, it looks slightly orange on me but i won't be saying anything else about it because that's not e.l.f.'s fault i chose a slightly darker foundation. (plus, i found that it helps to mix some lotion with the foundation to make it look slightly lighter.)

i really like how it's covered up my acne! it does a great job of covering any zits i have. plus, i really enjoy the pump! it makes it very easy to get out of the bottle which is always great!

I've been experimenting with many foundations lately. I've worn MUFE HD foundation for a few years, but recently, the foundation was looking cakey and just not right. Skin changes and I guess as I age my skin keeps changing. The only drug store foundation I've ever worn is L'Oreal's Perfect Match in C3 ten years ago it worked for me but now I'll only use it from time to time. The two foundations I've been using at present are Marc Jacobs and Givenchy Tient Couture. Both are very pricey and I'm trying to use them sparingly. I had this idea to mix high end with low end....
On a whim, I purchased E.L.F. Flawless Finish Foundation in Porcelain. To tell you the truth, there is not a large spectrum of foundation colors with this foundation and porcelain looked slightly yellow but for six bucks I figured what the heck.
The next day, I decided to do a bit of a comparison with the Givenchy. Although the Givenchy Tient was slightly more pink--and very slightly, I did notice that the E.L.F. foundation was a bit thicker and creamier. I decided against mixing the two and instead wore the E.L.F. on it's own--I really needed to see if this would oxidize on me. Mind you, before I applied the foundation, I applied primer first. I proceeded to wait ten minutes for the primer to "set" then went about applying the E.L.F. foundation with my Beauty Blender.
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with the results after applying. The foundation did not appear "chalky" on my "mature" skin, nor did it "settle" in the fine lines. All in all--it looked pretty darn nice. I did a bit of highlighting, contouring, added blush, swiped on Meteorites and went about my day. This was at 7:15 in the morning.
At 5:30 PM, when I got home, I noticed that the foundation never oxidized. I was thrilled because I AM the original Jackie-O-Lantern when it comes to oxidation! When I cleaned my face, the foundation came off in the cloth--proving the foundation did the job of staying put all day.
Next day I mixed the E.L.F. with the Givenchy. Again, I was pleased but I have to tell you, for the pricing of the E.L.F. foundation, I'm shocked that it is this good. I will definitely purchase again. I will also be using this as my "travel" foundation because if I leave it behind, it'll only be a six buck loss. I'm telling you--this foundation proved itself and for me to travel with it says a lot.
Thank you for reading my review and I hoped that it helped a bit. Oh. I gave it four lipsticks because I'm now of the mindset that it'll be a very, very incredible foundation that I will give five lippies to in the future!

I purchased the E.L.F. Flawless Finish Foundation on a whim at a Target store while on a business trip in Bellingham. I am very fair and always have a hard time finding foundations light enough for me; my standard operating procedure is to buy the lightest shade and hope it's light enough, so I purchased this in the shade Porcelain. It's still just a tad too dark for me, which is my only complaint about this product. I bought this in August, so if I blend well it's close enough to my "summer complexion" to not be noticeable, we'll see what winter brings. Anyway, I do really like this foundation. The coverage is light, which is what I like, and it can be built up to medium if you want more coverage in certain areas. I apply it with an ordinary cosmetic wedge, which works well for me. The finish is dewy but very natural looking, people don't notice that I'm wearing foundation. I am not sure what the other shades are like, but if you are fair and have cool undertones, Porcelain will be too yellowy for you, I have warm tones so it works for me, it also helps even out some areas of redness on my face. It does not hide freckles or spots, but I like being able to see my freckles, and if I have blemishes I want to hide I just use concealer on them. It has a good consistency, not too thick or runny, and it feels good on the face. I have combination skin (mostly dry but my nose and chin get oily), and this keeps my dry areas hydrated without making my oily areas too oily, and if I'm having a particularly oily day I'll just blot and powder my nose. I love that it has a pump, you can control how much product you dispense at a time, it's not messy and you don't waste any. I've seen other reviewers mention their pumps breaking right away or being otherwise defective, but I've had mine for 2 months of daily usage and it still works great, so either I lucked out or they happened to get duds. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the smell, but honestly, I love the smell, it reminds me of lemon meringue pie for some reason. My skin is quite sensitive and I haven't had any problems with irritation or breakouts. When I bought this I also bought another foundation at the same time, the other one (Pixi flawless vitamin veil, see my review) turned out to be a complete disappointment, so I was very glad that this one was a winner!
If you have dry, warm toned skin and want light coverage with a dewy finish, give this stuff a try! I recommend this product and would certainly purchase it again.
