The color is great, but it doesn't last at all and fades unevenly. It just leaves a pink ring on my lips.

I've been looking for a bright pink for spring, and based on the stellar reviews for everything Revlon Super Lustrous purchased temptress - the pinkest creme color I could find for my cool skin tone. I was very afraid of adding to my ever growing collection of mauves, but surprise! the color is a very rich and pigmented bright rose. It's a vivid "true pink" just shy of a hot pink or fuchsia on my lips.

Bonus: the creamy texture is comfortable, feels protective and not drying (yet) has a nice sheen without shimmer, and there is NO SMELL OR TASTE. Since added flavors are usually such a deal breaker for me (if it tastes bad/ artificial I never finish the stick and it goes rancid) I may end up buying more sticks of Super Lustrous in more daring colors.

Shade description: medium pink

Pros

- moisturizing
- pigmented

Cons

- finish can look a bit frosty

Comments: Wearable pink shade for any skin tone. The finish can look a bit frosty, but a gloss fixes that. Creamy texture and average wear time.

Will repurchase.

This is a nice medium, warm toned pink. It is a creme finish that applies smoothly with great pigmentation. The wear time is normal for a product that doesn't claim to be longwearing. There is no discernable smell or taste. Packaging is dated, IMO, "classic" Revlon Gold & Black. It has a nice "peek-a-boo" window on top to view the product color within.

absolutely love the color and the way it feels! it's super moisturizing and even if i put it on without exfoliating my lips first, it won't get all chunky and gross. the color and moisturizing feel also last pretty long. i love this! :D

I think this is my favorite Revlon SL l/s out of all the ones I own. It is very easily an everyday pink color that goes with whatever you've got going on with the rest of your face. The color brightens up my face if I'm wearing a neutral eye.

My only complaint about the SL line is that they dry my lips out, even when wearing a balm underneath.

The reviews that really intrigued me about this lipsticks are the ones that said it was "modern" and reminiscent of a MAC lipstick in terms of color. Those comments in previous reviews are spot on. I have been diving through some of the old classic Revlon SL lipsticks and almost everything I tried has led to disappointment. However, I have had great luck with two of the "Editor's Pick" colors, this (Temptress) and Demure. These colors don't feel like I am wearing outdated lipstick shades, they light up my whole face, the textures are smooth & ageless, and they are truly modern colors (not trendy like the current vampy shades in for fall, but the soft lippie makeup look sparked since JLO hit the scene) and just a pleasure to put on. These make me feel more fresh faced than any other Revlon SL lipstick I have tried. Temptress is a beautiful warm pink w/out being OTT or Barbie like. People have described the color very well, here. I wanted to celebrate the "current" feel / look of this lipstick. If this isn't permanent, it should be. FYI - I am MAC NW20 (pink with some gold undertones), with almost black hair, brown eyes, rosey brown lips.

Very nice color, it goes on as a sheer version of the color is appears in the tube. A pretty Barbie-ish pink, it says it's a creme but there is a small amount of shimmer. In terms of the color itself, I think the reviewer who said it was a cooler, sheerer version of Pink in the Afternoon was dead on. It'd be nice if they kept this one around, but if not I won't be heartbroken.

I LOVE THIS LIPSTICK!! This is definitely a HG lipstick for me.
Color: This is a blue-based pink color I think would flatter anyone. I have warm skintone but this still looks great on me. It gives a MLBB look which is crazy but true. Also, the color looks very youthful and energetic. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew what it looked like. Under the faint lighting of the store, I thought it was a coral color but it wasn't. I was a little disappointed after I could finally see it clearly home. But I was surprised by how good it looked after I tried it out home. I'm so glad I bought it.
Texture: This is what I love the most. The lipstick is very creamy. I have the habit of wearing lip balm underneath lipstick, so this probably helps with the creamy texture. Then again, there're so many lipstick out there tend to dry my lips even with lip balm. It doesn't tend to settle into fine lines, which is another bonus. I wouldn't call it moisturizing though.
Longevity: The wearing doesn't last very long though, I'd say 1-2 hour. But I don't mind this 'cuz I always carry my lipstick around for touch-ups.
Others: It does bleed a little, only very little, but that's not bothering at all.
I love love love this lipstick. I will definitely purchase it again when I finish it. This is the lipstick I wear the most.

HG HG HG. My favorite lipstick. It's a really pretty pink/coral color that looks really great on my pale Asian skin. Most people think I am Korean so I guess this looks on super pale skin? I have bought over 10 of these already. This is kind of similar to Mac's lipstick in Speed Dial, which is my favorite lipstick so far, but it's a lot more expensive so I'll just stick with this one

This is the prettiest shade of pink (it made my lips look like a fresh rosebud). Because it is so sheer, the lipstick does not cake or dry out the lips, and maybe it is even a bit moisturizing.
I love that it is a natural and believable pink—not too frosty, pale, or bright. One of the top 2012 makeup looks is rosebud lips and this lipstick is perfect for achieving that look. I can see it being too frosty for some skin tones, but for those who already have moderately pigmented lips, it complements the natural hue just enough.
This is the first drugstore lipstick I've purchased in a long time and I'm so glad I took a chance because the price can't be beat for the results.
One issue I had was with the packaging—the lid on my tube will not stay on probably and it keeps falling off. This isn't a problem until I tote it around in my purse.

This is a light cool-toned pink. The shade is sheer, pretty, and understated. I can just swipe it on and go. It's hardly moisturizing (which is a big negative for me), but for the price ($3.99cdn), it is not bad. It is great for a minimalist makeup look. And actually, the shade is very simliar to L'oreal HIP lipgloss in Plush, which I love.

Formulation is a very good; it's moisturising without being greasy, does not bleed on the lips, very light scent, does not irritate my lips & staying power is relatively good. Packaging is bleh, but I am a sucker for beautiful packaging. Revlon is very overpriced in Australia, this is ~$24AUD. I would only buy Revlon on special price.

It's not so much a frost as it is a sheer satin lipstick. It's not a cream. Sometimes Revlon lipsticks can be tricky and be quite sheer even though they say they are a cream. Examples: Siren is so sheer, but you assume it will be a fuller coverage. This has a luminous glow to it, and the shade of pink actually brightens your face and skin. It's really easy to wear and looks beautiful with matte shadows. Right now I pair it with MAC Scene shadow and NARS Deep Throat blush.

I purchased this in the retro 50's Revlon package, but I believe that this shade (along with Siren) are now part of the permanent collection. Temptress is a bright pink with a bit of frost and sheen. On my lips, it looks very fresh and pretty. To me, it's springy and fresh and young. It is a wonderful daytime lipstick. The formula is nice and pigmented and wears fairly well. This is actually my first Revlon SL lipstick, but I now look forward to trying more.

Dare I call a product MLBB? Naw, I won't...but this lipstick is awesome. I am going to buy another tube just in case it stays LE and doesn't make it to regular status. So does this mean I dare call a lipstick/colour HG? Perhaps...

Temptress is a pretty pink, kind of cool-toned but works on my pale-yellow tone skin. I think it's because I have enough pink in my skin..but that may not be a good thing (the pink, not the fact that it matches). It's slightly more sheer than I expected, but it's totally buildable. It's got enough shimmer to give off the effect of "hey by the way, I'm wearing lipstick!" but it's not like "SAY HELLO TO MY LIPS!"

Anyway, all in all, this has to be one of my favourite shades of lipstick. For me, it's kind of what I will wear as my nude, MLBB shade. Flashy? Yes, I am.

Buy Temptress. If you don't find that it's your shade...well, you know where to find me.

This turned out frosty and too bright for my tastes. I think I would have liked, had it not had the frost.

First off--the consistency of this lipstick is AM-AZING. Really creamy and soft. Lovely feel to the lips. For that I would rate this lippie a FIVE.
I am a high end lipstick devotee and am picky about that, so this one gets high marks from me for that.
The color is a lovely soft pink, however it doesn't have enough pigment to give me the color pay-off that I had expected. I have pretty pigmented lips and am unaccustomed to wearing lip colors this pale, but if I dab it on my lips, I do like it for a pretty very, soft fresh summery look. I am fair-medium. I actually think that this color would be more flattering on people with very fair skin with blue undertones. I would not repurchase as it isn't a good color for me, but it is a lovely formula and a pretty shade.

This is pretty and cheap. It might be my only d/s lipstick I actually save and not swap or donate - ha! Temptress is very glossy and sheer, but it's not the thin kind of sheer, it's the nice and thick creamy type of sheer. It's a pretty bubblegum pink shade that's not too cool. It's pretty much a creme, but Revlon loves to add a bit of shimmer to their cremes sometimes, so it has a little bit. This is similar to Estee Lauder Chelsea Rose, just a tad bit warmer. I LOVE Temptress with Chanel Magnifique gloss over it. Really pretty, nice, and wearable for spring.

Editied to add: this looks GREAT with dr. pepper lip smacker layered over it. it makes it a little less pink and slightly browner, which is more flattering on my skin (nc30).

Surprised that others found this to be sheer, I actually find it rather opaque. It can definitely be layered though, depending on how much color you want. This is a cool toned, "barbie" pink lipstick. It is very unlike my lip color, it's a very obvious pink. I would only really wear this with neutral eye makeup, because of this. But I do like it. As usual, Revlon's formula for the lipstick is fantastic, glides on smoothly and applies evenly. Wearing time is average. Has a slight shimmer, definitely not matte, but not glittery, and I am very wary of glitter in lipstick. Nice product, would repurchase.
