Great moisturiser. It replaced my HG! I was very sceptical and worried at first, because I had a lot of events to attend and I was sure that this would break me out. However, it did not. In fact, it helped my skin heal! Additionally, I have extremely oily skin & there are certain days of the week where I have to wear makeup for 12 hours. On these days I feel extremely self-conscious because around hour 8 my makeup just starts deteriorating. Usually, whenever I try any new product, it just makes my skin even oilier & I feel embarrassed that I was walking around like that. However, this product made my makeup last longer than usual! I love it! My makeup still deteriorates and slides off, but with oily skin that's going to happen no matter what and there's *nothing* you can do to stop it. Using this product however, helps a little. The only thing I hate is that it pumps out WAY too much! It's ridiculous and wasteful...

I wanted to like this as the ingredient list is nice and natural, it's readily available where I live and it's pretty inexpensive. However, it completely fails as a face moisturizer. It does not absorb well into my skin, even with extended massaging. It just sits on top, white and streaky and eventually seems to dry down into a film that balls up under my sunscreen and other make up. I could use it at night when that's less of an issue, but I don't find it very hydrating either.

Thankfully I didn't pay full price for this as it came as a bonus with the Sukin rosehip oil.

I had such high hopes for this product after reading all the great reviews on here! I had recently decided to switch from the cetaphil moisturizing lotion to this because i wanted something even more natural and this boasts paraben free etc. At first it was great, seemed to really clear my skin up and moisturized well, but after a couple weeks i started breaking out and haven't stopped since, and have been using this for about 2 months now! I use this combined with the sukin rosehip oil and have wondered whether it was that which was making me break out, but i have switched back to my cetaphil moisturizer again. this did do a good job at moisturizing but took a long time to absorb and i felt quite oily and thick afterwards. I wouldn't recommend this to people with acne prone skin.

I liked this at first, but I am very sensitive to fragrance and this started making me feel sick. I dreaded putting it on simply because of the smell. Otherwise it's an okay moisturizer, nothing special.

THIS IS MY HG MOISTURIZER! I used to use neutrogena spf 15 moisturizer, which was watery and made my oily T-zone even shinier. In my search to find a new one, I checked MUA top picks and found this. I love it so much, its my favorite skincare item I own. Which is saying something. I love it because it's all natural and doesn't have anything artificial. It doesn't clog pores. Also has a little mattifying effect... which is great for my oily skin. Great makeup base. Light orange-creamy smell. Moisturizes without getting greasy. Leaves skin feeling super soft. Cheap too, only $12 on amazon, but I was lucky enough to find one lonely bottle on a shelf at my local TJMax for $9. my ONLY concern/con is that it's not some super intense moisturizer... its definitely better for oily/normal/combo skin. I just don't think its moisturizing enough for all over dryness, but it does fix the occasional dry patch. Doesn't have spf, but my foundation does so I don't really care. Anyway, its a great buy!!

Thank-you to MUA for helping me to discover this gem. Finally, a cruelty-free moisturizer that gives my skin lasting moisture. If I miss a day moisturizing with this, my face does not get dry. And my skin no longer feels tight after washing. This, in my mind, is how you tell if a moisturizer is really working to improve your skin. And such great value for the money!

I love the pump- it also comes in a squeeze bottle, which I normally prefer, but it felt like the bottle would be awkward to squeeze so I opted for the pump instead. However, I might buy the squeeze bottles as "refills"- much less waste that way, in the long run!

A little really goes a long way with this product, I wouldn't say "pea-sized" like others have but pretty darn close! Maybe a dime-sized dollop for face and neck...? So it will last a long time. Also love the scent! I find this wears well both day and night, under makeup and alone, sinks in well and doesn't get greasy. Just be sure you're getting your SPF with another daytime product and you're fine!

I wish this was more widely available in my area- I had to go to Planet Organic which is kind of out of the way- but it's worth it. Will rebuy. If you can find this in your town, pick it up.

UPDATE: Everything from this line has broken me. The moisturizer, cleanser and toner. After 3 days of use all together and 3 days of use using the products individually alongside good ol reliables I got a terrible blackhead breakout all over my face. Will not repurchase.

I was looking for a natural moisturizer because I hate thinking of all the crap that seeps into your bloodstream from the chemicals in non natural formulas- and this fits the bill nicely. I bought this after seeing crazy good reviews on MUA and its sold at my local health food/ drugstore. I believe this was around $10- I bought it a few months ago so I don't remember entirely. For that price it comes with over 4 ounces of product which is an amazing value. You will have to be careful when pumping out the product because a full pump is going to be about double what you actually need for your face and neck. Anyways, its an in between consistency- not really thick and not really thin and it does sink in to that skin nicely. It does seem to feel a little masky for a seconds before it sinks in (something I have found with all natural moisturizers I have used, not sure why) but it does go away quickly. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized without leaving behind any kind of tangible residue so it is great under makeup. I have dry skin and I use this as my day moisturizer and can imagine it being really nice for normal/combination skin but I feel it might be a bit much for oily skin. I'm not sure I would recommend this for really sensitive skin because it does have a smell but the smell is NOT an added fragrance, its just the smell of the plant properties or whatever else is in there but it is strong.

This is the first Sukin product I bought and I am quite impressed. The smell is amazing!
The pump bottle gets a little annoying I must say as I always end up pumping out too much. When you are travelling and you have to close the pump, you have to press down and turn, which pumps out alot of product :(
It is a really light moisturizer. I used to use this at night too, but stopped and switched to Sukin's night cream as this cream does dry out quite quickly.
Not suitable for winter.... :(

This product is amazing and definitely worth trying (for $10AUD)!

1. the packaging (its a pump bottle) makes it easy to use and hygienic. If I had to be EXTREMELY picky the only thing I don't like about the pump would be that I may end up using more product then I need (I'm a bit pump-happy).

2. I use this as both a day AND night moisturiser. During the day, it hydrates my skin without feeling greasy, it's light and softly scented. I find that I can use this over my foundation when I get a dry patch on my chin. For my night-time skincare routine, I use this with my Sukin Certified Organic Rosehip Oil. I definitely started to notice a difference in the morning after the first night of use. My skin definitely looks clearer, hydrated and with the rosehip oil I woke up without redness on my face.

This is definitely a Holy Grail item for me!!!

**I have dry skin with dry patches on my upper lip and chin. My eyelid have also been feeling and looking tight (dry). I usually get redness on my cheeks.

While Sukin's normal moisturiser is pretty good & cheap for a natural / organic brand, the normal moisturiser may not be suited for some more sensitive/dry skin (even though I consider my skin combination). It often stung my skin and left it red after some applications (especially in cold weather).

It also doesn't seem as moisturising as the Sensitive range moisturiser which has not caused any burning & smells even better! So even if you have oily/normal skin I would probably recommend the Sensitive range moisturiser (same price at ~AUD$10) to risk having any burning/skin irritation.

One of the best moisturizers I've tried so far. My face is combination and acne-prone and this moisturizer doesn't break me out. Love it! The consistency is quite light and non-greasy. It may suits someone with normal and combination skin but not dry skin.

This is an AMAZING moisturizer. I cannot believe I didn't know about it! I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, tendency to breakout, and some dry patches on the cheeks (i also live in Canada, so the dryness is worse during winter months) I use Laventine Olive forte morning and night to wash my face. Onto the review: the smell is kinda weird but pleasant, i love the pump, and the texture of the lotion is very light, more like a fluid, but its power is great. Not only did my dry patches disappeared after three uses, but my t-zone also disappeared: my skin is smooth and even, my makeup holds much better and it did not cause any breakouts! It's a WINNER....And for 10$ at canadavitaminshop, it's a steal........Go try it, you won't be disappointed!!!

This is one of the best moisturiser I have tried....I use it as a night cream coz its quiet thick in consistency and when I wake up next morning ma skin glows...and it is real cheap compared to other natural/ organic face creams... It comes in a functional bottle with a pump which is hygienic and convenient to use

This is by far the best moisturiser I have ever used. I have comb/oily skin (dry around the mouth, oily in the t-zone - extremely oily nose. My skin is also very sensitive to fragrance) I always struggle to find products that cater to my skins needs, i.e not completely drying my face out, or turning it into an oil slick. This product is wonderful. It sinks in within minutes, moisturises dry patches beautifully and seems to be helping with oil control. It smells great and is all natural. It is readily available, in New Zealand, both online and in stores (Farmers, organic/health stores etc), retails here for $9.90-$14.99nz - which is a steal. The only negative is that it doesn't have an spf. I have already purchased 2 other products from the sukin range, and look forward to continued success. I have to congratulate the aussies! Great job on this one guys.

I remember the time I was diagnosing with psoriasis. The face filled with red patches of rashes and flakes around the face, to ear, down to the neck, and the body. It was so itch that it disturbs my sleep and my mood was bad.

The doctor I am visiting told me to stop using all the skin care products and just apply ointment and creams on the rashes part. She also said if I think my skin is too dry I can use moisturizer for it. Therefore, I took her advice I use only moisturizer. I tried centaphil since it was for sensitive skin and stated recommended by dermologist. After finishing the tube of moisturizer, I decided to change another brand.

I come across this brand “sukin” and decide to give a try, as I have never used organic products before. The price is acceptable, it cost SGD$14.90.

The moisturizing effect is better than centaphil. I can see the flakes getting lesser on the skin and it does not make my skin feel dry. I can see the patches of rash is slowly reducing it size and fading away. I do not see this result when I use cetaphil. What most important is, I do not feel the itch throughout the day and night, even when I use cetaphil I still need to relay on the sleeping pills that doctor prescribe to help with my sleep, so that I won’t wake up middle of the night and start scratching all over my face.

The only con for the product is after about 8 hours the face starting to feel oily. But it does not really bothers me much.

I only pump out a little about green pea size for my whole face and neck. I am still using the first bottle, and it have been 3months and still left about a quarter of it :D

Best moisturiser I've bought in ages!
Got it from chemist warehouse (aust) on sale for $6
smells good and natural on, lasts - doesn't soak in instantly nor stay moist for ages - just the right consistency!
my purchase of this makes me definitely want to get the rest of the range as soon as I've used up some of my other bazillion facial products!
I'm really starting to like this whole au naturale stuff, this is just the cherry on top compared to garnier pure range, nutrogena (woaw can't spell), and LUSH products

Seeing as I'm on roaccutane at the moment..I'm not a hundred percent sure on my skin's reativity to any product BUT it usually responds in about a day or two.
I should mention I'm asian so my experience with skin product may differ to others. Since I have combination and sensitive skin..it's difficult for me to find a good moisturiser that keeps OFF the oil and shine from my T zone, doesn't break me out and give me redness. I've tried almost all the mid-range price brands (clinique's dramatically different moisturiser, dermalogica's range, clarins, lush, even murad and decleor (!) ) but find that either they don't do what they claim or they do a half day's job.
With this moisturiser, it kept my skin free from an oily T-zone and didn't make me feel like I piled on a suffocating layer of moisture (which some moisturisers do because of consistency). It also has a sort of matte finish..which is strange because it's just your basic cream consistency, not too thick or too runny.
The smell doesn't bother me at all..it's sweet smelling but doesn't stay on for the whole day I think. It's pretty safe to use as an overnight moisturiser too..although I use Clinique's Extended Moisture Relief.
All in all, it's a GOOD moisturiser with an amazingly affordable price. Get it if you're just looking for a moisturiser without frills.
