I picked this up for 50% off at CVS, so I spent around $5, still a bit much for a drugstore eyeliner, IMO. The color of this pencil is really unique, and truly chrome. However, this is the only eyeliner I have ever had an allergic reaction to in my entire life. I lined my waterline with this and my eye swelled up, got all teary and red, and itchy. I developed a jelly-like sac on my eyeball and was terrified. After washing my eyes and using some allergy drops, I was fine, but it scared me enough that I am afraid to use this again! I think that whatever they use to make the pigment so metallic is what irritated the hell out of my eye. I think I might try using this to make a thin silver line above my black liquid liner, but I am keeping it away from my tear ducts or waterline. I have seen quite a lot of reviewers mention allergic reactions, so it's worth noting.

Brought this because I was looking for a quick inner corner highlight for smokey-eye looks. I tried it on my waterline and it made my eyes water quite badly so I avoid it now. Also, the silver's chrome-like effect was too intense for my liking. I prefer just lightly tracing the tearduct area and lining the inner corner of the lower lash-line to bring more light into that area. Works great for that and doesn't smudge too badly. Formula and consistency is similar to Urban Decay's 24/7 pencils but the L'Oreal HIP smudges slightly less and last's better on me. Sharpening these are a pain. Because of the creamy formula they tend to slide/smush easily against the blade of the sharpener and cause a horrible mess. Also have problems with it breaking easily so best to put in freezer 10-15 min before sharpening to reduce loss of product.

Holy moly! I've been looking for a good silver eyeliner forever, but most of them were chalky and unflattering, or just plain gray. Not so with this one! It's like lining your eyes with aluminum foil, no kidding! It's a bright silver, truly metallic eyeliner. It glides on with no tugging, and dries immediately to smudge proof. It was buy one get one 1/2 off at Walgreens, so I paid $15 for two (silver lightning and gold charge,) so I guess it wasn't too unreasonable.
If you're looking for a nice, metallic, bright, shiny silver liner, then this is it!

I really like this eyeliner, I usually use a flat white on the lower inner rims of my eyes to make me look more awake, I saw this one day while shopping and bought it. I was amazed at how great it looked, plus it stayed in place all day. The only thing I didn't like is how often I have to sharpen it, and my usual sharpener didn't work, I had to buy a different one. I will still repurchase, though.

Really great quality eyeliner with very bold color and amazing texture. I use silver as a base on the inner corners of my eyes before layering with light, shimmery shadows as a highlight. This is a very highly pigmented pencil. The color goes on super-smoothly with barely a touch and has a great liquid-like quality to it. I've never used anything like it and I don't think I can go back. It's a little pricey for a drugstore eyeliner, about $8-$10 depending on where you get it. It still beats paying twice as much for something comparable at Sephora.
