I was browsing eBay one day, did a search for L'Oreal HiP and ended up buying this duo. I love taupe eyeshadow and this didn't disappoint. It went on smoothly and has a lovely satin sheen. The black side is matte and very pigmented, however it blends out nicely, so can easily be softened. I think it would look good in the day and at night. If you can still find this duo then I'd definitely recommend it.

Dupe alert - the taupey shade in this is an exact dupe of what a love child of MACs satin taupe and sable would look like. Gorgeous creamy long lasting texture and as a bonus you get a dupe of MAC carbon in the set for a bargain of a price! Just lovely and a perfect combo!

Dead on dupe for MAC's Satin Taupe. DEAD ON. I am telling you...texture, shade, everything! And you get a nice matte black that applies surprisingly well wet. Buy it online for a great price - They dont make this one anymore. It was LE.

I bought this just for the taupe shade, which is lovely. I turning into a taupe fiend and this is a good one. It's a little too dark to use all over my eyelid, but it makes a good crease color. It's quite pigmented so you don't need a lot of it, just one or two taps into the pan. There's shimmer but it's not over the top, and I didn't experience any fallout. It's becoming one of my daily favorites.
I never really wear black eyeshadow (it's way too harsh on me, even as a liner), but this one is a matte, true black. I swatched it and the texture is nice, the pigmentation isn't bad. If I ever need one, I'll use it.
I don't use the sponge tip applicator, but I kind of like the little compartment underneath the shadow that houses it. I picked this up at Rite Aid for $2 on clearance, so I'm not sure if I'd pay full price for it but I definitely get my money's worth with this one.

I'm surprised this hasn't been reviewed yet! Enchantress is a LE duo; L'Oreal put it out with a Fall/Winter collection that seemingly jumps on the vampire bandwagon. That being said, don't let the fad theme steer you away from this product! The lighter side of the duo is a shimmery mushroom taupe (darker than the shade in the "Electrified") and the darker side is a flat black. I used the black side wet as a liner, and I was pretty impressed with the staying power and concentrated color. The taupe worked well on me as an all-over lid/crease color (I'm pretty much NC25), but it's a bit too dark to be used as a browbone highlighter. I think the taupe is neutral enough for all skintones, too. Very versatile!
