I have extremely over processed hair from highlighting/bleaching and straightening/curling. I was quite skeptical of this mask because Pantene has never worked well for me. Well, this mask is MAGICAL. With just one use, my hair regained its softness and moisture, and I can't stop touching and smelling my hair! Thumbs up Pantene, this is one of my favourite hair products ever now :)

I bought this based on all the amazing reviews.

It wasn't that easy to find though, I went to 3 places and found it in the 3rd pharmacy (albeit, I was in a ghetto ish area and selection was pitiful)

I used it twice so far, I only shampoo once to twice a week anyway (my hair is not greasy, and although teased for that when I was younger, now everyone is talking about how you shouldn't shampoo daily, pft).

So I learnt from the first time, you really don't need a lot. I use it in lieu of my conditioner and leave it in under a shower cap so it really soaks in while I soap up.

I have long hair, about breast length, and the first time I had too much, at the end of the week I started getting dandruff type thing because of he excess. I suggest to go lightly at your roots, and apply more at the ends. Just a small dollop. Try not to get it on your face during or after application or while rinsing it out. This stuff is thick and will make your face feel slimy. Yuck.

This leaves hair soft, shiny and healthy looking. Doesn't feel heavier than usual, I didn't really apply hair products in it afterwards so I can't say if that changes anything on that front, but I did curl my hair and use hairspray and it seemed fine.

In short, I'm happy with this and will definitely buy again. I hope the formula or my hair doesn't change because I like how this makes my hair look.

I would buy this again and again and again.


My hair is thick and fine. Yes hair can be thick and fine. No, I don't know why the hair industry uses fine when they mean thin. I have color, highlights, and a glaze. I rarely straighten it, so I don't worry about heat damage; however, we know that all of those different chemicals and treatments can be drying.


I never use regular put on and rinse off conditioners anymore. I deep condition while I'm in the shower and let the the steam and conditioner work their magic.


This stuff is amazing. I was a bit worried when I opened the jar and the formula was thinner than what I'm used to. It's not watery, just textured more like a hairdress than a conditioner. I didn't need a lot and it worked even better than my regular thick conditioners. I don't have to leave it on for a million years-I think it may have been on my hair about 5 minutes after I combed it through before I rinsed.

The smell is a bit sweet, but nothing intolerable and you barely smell it after rinsing.

THis stuff works! It took my dry frizzy frayed ends, and turned them into silk! I thought I was going to have to get more of my hair cut. Now I dont have to!! I used the mask after shampooing, and left it in overnight. When I got in the shower the next day I could already see and feel the difference! After I blowdried, I SAW the difference. I will use this weekly for treatments so I can maintain this gorgeous mane!

ohh i love this stuff! my hair is super damaged this summer from bleaching, pool, tanning and blowdrying. its so dry and frizzy. ive been useing this the past few days and am seeing an improvent in my hair, its softer and shinner. im really loving pantene and am totally open to trying more of there products! this is a really awesome hair mask!

This conditioner is a staple item in my haircare regimen, its absolutely amazing. You get a big tub of product for only around 5 bucks - the best hair mask/conditioner I have ever bought. I have extremely long hair, down to my butt, and sometimes during the winter months my hair can become dry, carried away with the wind - leaving it tangled, dull, lifeless, and damaged. This conditioner restored my hair after one use. So manageable, soft, silky, hydrated...Its a miracle product. I was happy to see the high ratings on this product - THE HYPE IS REAL LADIES! If you can get your hands on this - stock up!!

where do I begin? My hair over processed thick hair just needed some help and I tried so many products without avail. I tried coconut oil, it made me greasy and hair limpy. I tried shea butter and it made my scalp itchy and my hair look like it has been glued together. I couldn't even spread the butter on my hair. The worst part is that natural butters and oil tend to attract dirt and keep my hair from flowing and feeling soft. I tried this treatment for a month and it's the only product that can actually turn my hair around back to it's natural state. The longer I use it, the more beautiful, full , soft, flowing, and thick my hair becomes. It made my hair shiny too. I didn't get that same result even with jojoba oil. AFter my hair finally recovered, I switch to pantene regular conditioner formula and it has been able to keep my hair soft and beautiful every time. All the positive reviews on this forum are pretty accurate. It's only 5 dollars so there isn't much of a loss. I live in a dry climate and it literally sucks the moisture out of my hair. I have tried just about every single hair treatment at the drug store and nothing had worked as well without weighing my hair down. This product doesn't cause me to break out or get dandruff like many other products. If your scalp is very sensitive, you can try to condition from the ends of your hair upward avoiding the scalp. Too much scalp conditioning can cause build up and hair going limp. the beautiful lengths conditioner doesn't do any good for my hair, but the treament mask works like a dream. I also find the classic conditioner works the best for over processed hair living in dry desert like climate

This mask really saved my hair & my daughter's hair. It leaves your hair soooo luxuriously smooth and soft. Previously, both of us had severely damaged hair. My daughter's hair really takes a beating with sun & swimming - this is a healing product!

I LOVE this stuff so much it's like my hair saviour! I have insanely dry and damaged hair but this works amazing and fixes it like magic. I wash my hair 3 times a week and use this after I shampoo, keeping it on 5 mins and use my regular conditioner after I rinse the mask out. When I comb my hair after my shower it's amazingly soft and it smells so good. Seriously, this is a life saver for my hair and it's a great price as well.

This stuff is amazing and is comparable to the pricier products. I have long hair that only gets washed once or twice a week so I use this every time and it keeps tangles and damage at bay.

BONUS TIP: My stylist recently gave me a trick that works wonders - mix some moroccan oil in with conditioner (the moroccan/argan oil at ulta is only $12 versus the expensive stuff and works just as well). The mixture really hydrates the hair without leaving any residue or greasiness.

I picked this up the other day because I used to LOVE Pantene BL products and when they started switching over to all the Fine, Thick, Curly systems I couldn't find the BL line anymore, but I found this at K-Mart for 5 bucks and couldn't resist. I LOVE this. My hair has split ends really bad in between trims, but this makes my hair feel SO amazing, it's like silk and it gets rid of split ends as good as any product I've ever used. The only things I don't like about this is I wish it was in a bottle or at least a bigger tub. It's got sort've a sweet smell to it that seems to have a hint of coconut (not a fan of coconut scents) but it pretty much goes away after you put it in your hair and it doesn't coat your hair in that scent once it's dry. I will for sure be buying this again!

Love this conditioner! This stuff really smooths hair and makes it uber soft. I have hair as long as my waist and its fine and straight. I would have used this stuff forever but it contains some silicones in it and Im trying for a mask that betters my hair health too so sorry wont repurchase. However I have bought this twice and have loved it. Try it, it doesnt even leave hair waxy or anything. I would have used this everyday as a normal conditioner has it not been for the $12 CAN price. Definately something I'll come back to in years from now.

This product isn't the best or the worst in my case and experience with the product. I've been using it for about two weeks or so and haven't seen too much of a difference in my hair. I already have long hair (almost reaches my butt) I straighten only the "bangs" and occasionally curl my hair. I have dyed my hair but haven't lately. I was hoping to see a difference in the ends of my hair but yet to see changes yet. I don't care for the smell too much either. I'm hoping to see some results soon.

I was waiting to give this product a fair run before writing my review. Over the yrs, I have dyed my hair, cut it short, grew it long and tried a multitude of products in between. As far as conditioners go, I have tried a lot of products from drugstore to salon. Very few have been worth a second bottle. This conditioner is amazing. The price cannot be beat and since it is from Pantene it is easily accessible. My hair is about shoulder length, maybe 2b-2c curls so it can be easily weighed down into greasy, stragly nastiness. This provided enough moisture to soften and make my dark brown hair really shine, while allowing me a second day without washing. Yes, it contains silicones for those of you who prefer curly girl method. However, over the years I have realized that my hair responds better to some light coating (au natural and it looks like frizz-city). Im neither here no there regarding the tub it comes in. Its harder to manipulate in the shower, but it does allow all of the product to be used. Give it a try!

I first started using this once a week like the directions suggested. But this past week I have been using this every day. I love how my hair feels. I apply at the beginning of my shower after I shampoo, concentrate on my ends and leave in until the end of my shower. My ends look and feel so much better. Will repurchase. I wish it didn't come in a tub though.

After reading all of the comments for this product, i HAD to give it a try. My hair is dry and wavy. When i first used it i was really impressed, it made my hair really soft and no frizz! The second time i used it there was frizz, not a lot but it was there :( This product made my hair very manageable the day after i used it, but if i didn't use it my hair would be as it was before. I don't consider this as a mask, it's more like a conditioner. The smell is ok, i think it smells like green tea but my friend said it smelled like a weird smelling flower. lol the smell isn't terrible so this shouldn't be the reason not to buy it. The packaging is great because its a tub so you can get everything out. I don't like the packaging because it says on the jar not to get water into it..but when you're in the shower its kinda difficult not to get water into it...:) I will definitely repurchase just because its been one of the best drugstore products i have used.

UPDATE: This product now makes my hair feel waxy and dry! like theres product build up! it makes me sad so now i would rate it a 2. Thought this was HG material..guess not.

Purchased this product to help with breakage that I have around the edges of my hair in the front. Breakage isn't really noticeable to anyone but me, but I need something to address it (my hair in that area is really fragile). My hair is super-thick and super curly and in need of TLC every week. Tried Pantene's mask on just the front of my hair (mostly where there's breakage), and used my normal conditioner through the remainder of my hair. I was immediately impressed with how silky the Pantene mask feels when I rub it in my hands, and how well it went through my hair. When my curls stand out and are well defined, I can tell my curls like the product - my curls practically gave a standing ovation. Afterward, hair felt pretty darn good. I can't use Pantene's conditioners (in general) because they're too thin/watery for my hair and doesn't condition well enough for me. The replenishing mask, on the other hand, works great. This is my first time using it, so I don't know if it delivers in terms of combatting breakage.

This mask has made me want to replace my conditioners with hair masks instead. My hair is down to my waist,oily at the scalp and thin. This made me hair alot more hydrated,soft,shiny and less tangled but still tangled a bit. I leave this in my hair for about 2-3 minutes and when i rinse my hair its very soft and smells delicious. I noticed however that after day 2, my hair wasn't as hydrated as day 1. Other than that, this masks hydrates really well and does help with split ends.
So now I've been using this masks every other day for months probably about 3-4 and i still have a lot of product in the jar plus its easy to scoop out with your finger. i usually squeeze out excess water from my hair then apply the mask. I have to say my hair is alot less tangled nowadays, softer but i still have split ends. This makes my hair feel healthy and im loving it! (:

LOVE this stuff! Before I always used the Garnier S&S deep conditioner (in the pot) but not anymore.

This is the first pantene product I have ever used (wary, always heard their shampoos and conditioners have ingredients that break your hair down over time) and I was definitely not disappointed.

Decent price for a good amount. Great texture, very rich. Smells really amazing - like candy but not too sweet. My long hair felt like straw - I left this in for a few minutes and it was totally restored when I dried it! Couldn't even see my split ends anymore and it felt soft, looked shiny and smelled great. Very tempted to try the BL shampoo and conditioner now.

Highly recommend!

I was panicking in the hair aisle when I noticed that their Time Renewal Replenishing Mask was discontinued, then realized this was the exact same thing.

Wonder why they changed the name....

Anyway, this product totally saved my over processed hair, WITHOUT leaving it greasy. I will use this stuff forever!
