This polish is a bargain for less than an dollar. It goes on smoothly and was a bit sheer on the first coat but built up nicely. I did two though as I always do and ended up with a gorgeous mani. It does show brush strokes so be light handed with the brush. It was not streaky and applied evenly and had great coverage. The polish flowed smoothly onto the nail and was easy to apply and was the perfect consistency. Not too thick and gloopy and not too thin and runny. It laid right where I applied it without pooling or flooding my cuticles and was non staining when I removed it. The color was beautiful on my fair skintone and it did not wash me out or give me zombie living dead hands either. The brush is smaller but perfect for my smaller nail beds as the "professional" brushes are too big for my pinkies. This was just the right size for petite hands. I just wore this for 5 days and it had minimal tip wear and not a single chip! I am very rough on my hands and in medical we wash our hands too many times a day to count and this polish held up to all the wear and tear from hospital work, house work, and just general stuff, so I am sold on it. I think I paid something like .79 or maybe it was .99 but either way it's still a bargain. I loved this polish and will definitely be using it again. It looks moody and gray and somewhat dreary in the bottle, so the name Rain Check seems to fit, but it is much prettier and not so drab or dreary on the nails. Overall this polish is a great deal and I don't have any complaints about it at all. I'd say maybe the brushstrokes were a negative, but that is a result of the finish and if you use a light hand and enough polish you can barely see them. I am a perfectionist though so I tend to nit pick and look for flaws. This polish gets a thumbs up.

Honestly, this isn't my favorite color of nail polish, but it's still nice to have. It goes on a little runny/streaky, but it's all right if you put a couple of coats on. It's a pretty unique color, but I don't feel it's absolutely necessary in my collection. I like to wear it when the weather is dreary or I'm feeling sad, since it matches my mood. :)

I love this colour because of how unique it is! It kind of reminds me of the moon or the rain! It has such a nice assortments of different shimmers. However it was sort of runny/streaky but the colour was definitely worth it!

I was quite excited to see Rain Check (and for $0.59!). In the store it looked blue, however now it appears it be a very pale greyish lilac. It is a nice shade, but it is so thin and runny. It requires serious skill to avoid streaks. You must carefully apply at least 3 super thin coats. It dries well. After three coats, it looks okay and seems to have okay staying power. For .59 cents, or even if I had paid the full price .99 cents, I'm happy enough with it. I would buy it again (although I'll never run out) only because shades like this aren't usually found so cheap- I only wish that they'd make their formula less runny.

Rain Check is a grey with lilac/blue undertones. It applied well and took 3 coats to be opaque. After 4 days I had no chipping and only slight tip wear. The name suites the color well, it is a peaceful color and does remind me of a rainy day. I picked it up @ 0.59 cents. At that price I would purchase again

I really like the color. I was looking for something trendy and cheap. This is it. Like many the other wet n Wild polish I bought, it is not opaque and required a few coats. I tend to use thin coats so they dry faster. That said, I find doing my nails relaxing, so I didn't mind. I probably wouldn't buy again because it takes me forever to use up a bottle of nail polish, so I expect they won't be making this shade in a few years.
Even though the quality is a little on the low side, it's a pretty color and cheap. Just the thing to fight of the rainy day blues. I'm happy with my purchase.

This is one of the prettiest nail polish colors I have ever purchased. It's between a grey and lavender color and looks very pretty!
You have to put on at least 2 coats for it to look right. The quality of wet n wild polishes are probably not the best but for 99 cents I think it's more than worth it.
UPDATE: I love this color but can't use it anymore. Every time I use it, the nailpolish chips almost right away. It's not really worth applying it, if after 30 minutes, the polish chips already.

This is a pretty shimmery grayish lilac. Very glowy. Formula is smooth and wear is average. And it was only 99 cents at Rite Aid.

This is not a color I'd normally buy, but I'm glad I did. I don't use it on it's own, but it makes an excellent base color for several other polishes I have that are too thin on their own (ex: SH virtual violet) to become opaque. It's really paid for itself in that regard. Like all the Wild Shine's I have this applies smoothly, and dries quickly.

I’m typically not very fond of non-conventional colors and especially not of anything remotely light blue and shimmery. But I figured at $1 a bottle, Wet N Wild nail polishes were perfect to experiment with.
Rain check is a frosty sterling-esque periwinkle with superfine blue shimmer. Brush strokes will result from this one if you’re a novice nail gal like me, so be forewarned of that.
The formula is quite thin and runny, as expected with something this bargain, so I had to use around three generous coats to achieve a opacity I was satisfied with. I will say that it was a striking color on my nails – nearly silvery and not very like what I typically wear.
The first time I wore this without base coat or top coat, it lasted two days without chipping. I tried to wear it a second time recently, but I just don’t like this color on me – it feels too cool toned and clashes with my very tan warm skin - so I removed it immediately. I would assume it fares decently with a good top coat and base coat. The frostiness is a turn off for me – the streaks weren’t as bad after three coats, but I still wasn’t too pleased with them. Maybe I’m just being a weirdo about it since I'm none too pleased with this color in the first place.
I think it’s a fairly unique color though and an excellent addition to those of you who are into this color family. It'll probably be interesting to franken with!
