The positives:
- Great colour
- Unlike all other Nails Inc Polishes which chip within a couple of hours this one is long lasting
The negatives:
- It staid so well on my nails that when I removed it after 3 days, my natural nails underneath were completely damaged. They must have used some weird chemicals which attacked my natural nails.
I rated the price as high cos relative to the quality of the product the price is too high.

$9.50 for 0.33 oz at select Sephoras. I'd buy a Nails Inc. polish again definitely, just not this particular color.
The formula was nice -- self-leveling and quick to dry. The fat round cap was not too bad an adjustment from my usual Essie narrow caps, and it was good for spacing my still-wet fingernails when I painted.
The color was a light old lady mauve on me with an opaque cream finish. I was hoping for a straight mannequin beige but I should have known that my very yellow/tanned skin brings out the pink in everything. One coat is beige but uneven, two coats is best but already a bit of a rosy beige, then three coats is fully opaque and dusty pink.

This is the best nude nail polish I have ever found. I adore it so much, I'm disappointed that I've run out of this. Glossy on it's own, though I always use top coats! Nothing really compares to this shade. You can wear it everyday, everywhere for any occasion. I know most people can't pull of nudes or think that it looks basic or too blah. But I think nude nail polish is clean & chic and timeless. I'll always choose a nude nail over a French manicure. This shade is described as a pale soft toffee, I don't disagree with that. It's perfect for my skin when I'm fair or tanned. I'm an NC25 but with a tan I'm NC30/35.... I find that with two coats you get the perfect opaque colour. You don't need too much, the formula is so easy to use as well, no streaks, not watery. Pretty much dummy proof. I used this with the Nails Inc base coat and the Kensington Caviar over top which dries super fast. I can't say enough good things about this. I used it in 2008 in the UK. I was getting a manicure done and I loved this colour so much. I purchased it and used up the bottle within a year. Sadly I didn't re-purchase before leaving the UK =( I kept the bottle to try and find a dupe. Wish Nails Inc shipped out of the UK. They don't ship to international countries. Only within the UK & Ireland. Bummer. So for all the ladies in the UK pick this up if you need a nude! You won't be disappointed!

Another great one from Nails inc! As it's a light colour, I do find it needs a third coat to get really solid but as the formulas from nails inc are so good this isn't an issue and it still dries really quick.
Basil Street is a peach/fawn nude shade. Great for mannequin hands!
