Caudalie is the only skincare line I've found not to irritate my skin. Their intense Moisture Rescue Cream is too heavy, the Sorbet is not rich enough (especially for dryer months) so I mix this with the Moisturizing Sorbet for a perfect and customizable level of moisture. The sorbet is also cucumber scented so it cuts down on the perfume scent, which can be overpowering. I've been using this blend with a Hyaluronic Acid serum for about 3 months straight and I'm pretty happy with it. This is not HG but as close as I've found.

No, no, no! It's Weleda happening all over again! Although I had faith in this moisturizer and used it a couple of times (will I ever learn?) I got a tiny spot after each use. When my skin was especially dry in the winter, I foolishly thought it could help me - but when I gently patted it on my skin, some parts of my face burnt. Yesterday in the evening I made the same mistake... I may have sensitive skin, I just didn't know that a product with such beautiful texture and gorgeous smell could cause something like this... I'm disappointed!

I bought this moisturizer when I ran out of my HG Kate Somerville OIl Free moisturizer thinking it would practically do this same thing plus save me some money. I used this moisturizer before applying my foundation and at the end of the day it made it oiler than I was. Usually with my Kate Somerville I only have to blot once a day, but with this moisturizer I have to blot constantly and repowder my face. I also use this moisturizer at night to hydrate my face, but after a week of use it made my face really red and bumpy. It came to a point where it burned every time I put it on. I finally returned and I am never buying this again. If you are looking for a great moisturizer and you have sensitive/dry combination skin then try Kate Somerville moisturizer. It does cost a lot more, but its worth it.

I just starting using this along with the Vinoperfect serum. I really like this so far. I bought this for my Combo, acne prone, clog-prone but dehydrated skin. I particularly like this because it has no parabens or mineral oil. I was looking for something with antioxidents in it to wear during the daytime and under my makeup.
- Moisturizing, but not greasy at all
-Very balancing to combo skin
-Does not ball-up under makeup and actually makes a nice base for foundation.
-Made my skin very soft and supple looking
-No Mineral oil, parabens or chemicals that are pore clogging!!
Cons- Expensive for such a small tube, though you only need a dime size for your face and neck. But I can see myself using this up quickly, so I'm only using it during the day for now.
I also have to order online, closest Full-size Sephora is 45 minutes away through horrific traffic, not doing it!
I do believe if you have Very dry skin that this may not be moisturizing enough. For those that are combo and somewhat dry or dehydrated, I think this cream is perfect. I have sensitive skin and I cannot handle a lot of chemicals. It does have a citrus scent and there is Orange and citris extracts in this. It's not overwhelming, just fresh smelling and it does not linger for too long. I can't say I have been using it long enough to see any benefits from the antioxidents, but so far so good.
BTW, the write up for this says it does not clog pores. So for the clogged prone, this is a good one!

What a fantastic moisturizer this is! (It's the replacement for the discontinued C20 cream--they took out all the parabens, mineral oil, etc.) I started using this a few days ago and am thrilled. My normal/combo skin has been freaking out this winter (dry with cystic breakouts). I tried several other lotions, including the horrible Mario Badescu Buttermilk Moisturizer, and things only got worse. Panicked, I purchased this instead and within ONE day my skin was balanced, soft, plump and glowing. My skin is calm and my fine lines are reduced. Even the breakouts were diminished (although this cream isn't anti-acne). I truly think this would benefit any skin type except extremely dry or extremely oily. Plus it's full of some very strong anti-oxidants. If you want to see more reviews, check out the Sephora website and read all the raves. They are accurate!

This is my first Caudalie product and I have to say its a good moisturizer.
The website says: "Rich in moisturizing and anti-oxidant active ingredients, this velvety cream preserves the skin's youthful appearance." and that its suitable for all skin types.
Also - the website says that the main ingrediants are Patented grape-seed polyphenols, grape-seed oil, olive extract, plant glycerine, coriander, lemon, sweet orange...
First off its costs £18 in the UK (I got it at Space NK) for 40ml, which for me is a lot for a moisturizer, but I had some store credit and I thought I would give it a go.
I have acne prone oily/normal combination skin, and many moisturizers break me out. I am so happy to say this this did not happen with this moisturizer!
It absorbs really well, and was fine under make-up - no sliding around or anything like that. I found that it didnt make my oily T-zone anymore oily if that makes sense?
If feel that people with dry skin may not find this moisturising enough, but I may be wrong.
The smell is quite "herbal" (Im sorry, I am really bad at describing smells) and initially I didnt like it much, but within 2 or 3 times of using the cream it didnt bother me at all, in any event the smell fades really quickly once the cream is absorbed.
As you dont need very much cream, this lasted me as day time lotion (I use jojoba oil at night) around 3.5 months, so it makes the cost more bearable I guess.
The packaging is fine - nothing special but also no faults which is important, its a light colour so when you hold it up you can just about see how much is left in the tube, it closes securely and would be fine for travel. As with most tubes, when you think you have almost run out - cut the tube open and you will see quite a bit still left in it.
All in all, its a good lotion and if you are acne prone or have sensitive skin I think this will not aggrevate any conditions.
Also - this brand's products do not contain Parabens which is a big plus for me.
PLEASE NOTE - one major con of this is that it DOES NOT have any SPF in it, so a seperate product is needed...I wish they would put SPF in it!
Overall, my opinion is that it is good and I will continue using it until I (hopefully) find something which is also good and doesnt break me out, but is less pricey than this.
I hope this review helped. Feel free to PM me any questions.
