After reading rave reviews of this water sleeping pack, I couldn't resist getting one jar for myself. I was actively looking for a good moisturizing regime that could help my oily & dehydrated skin. I've tried Clinique's Moisture Surge Overnight Mask before and I didn't like it one bit - it transformed my face into a grease ball and my skin couldn't absorb the mask at all even though I used a small pea sized amount.

With Laneige's Water Sleeping Pack, the product is a watery blue gel substance that comes in a jar with a spatula. I took one lippie off for the bad packaging. The SA recommended me 4 spatula scoops for every application. The spatula is a bit silly and it's very hard to regulate the amount you need to use.

Packaging aside, I love this sleeping pack! The texture is very WATERY and is absorbed into your skin like a dream. I take 3 generous spatula scoops (instead of the above-mentioned recommended 4) on my palm, rub both palms together and apply it generously on my face including my eye area.

It takes a minute or two to be fully absorbed. After that, my face felt fantastic - it didn't have that "I-have-product-on-my-face" feeling which I love. Since this sleeping pack is absorbed so well, you don't have to worry about transferring residue onto your pillow!

Will definitely buy it again once the whole jar finishes (which will take a long time!). If they could change the packaging to a pump dispenser system, this would be a five-lippie product for sure.

I want to scream.......this is the best ever mask I used. I will buy it over and over again.

I have combination, acne proned skin, this baby helps to keep me hydrated, clear up my pimples, acne marks, glow ever I sleep late the night before.

I am using laneige cleansing oil, multi cleanser, skin refiner, balance emulsion, water bank essence, this sleeping mask, snow bb cream and snow bb soothing cushion. My skin has never looks this good for long time. With a 2+ year old little one, I have no time to do mask at all. So every night when I reach home, I just removes my makeup, double cleanse, skin refiner, then emulsion, then before I sleep every night I will apply 1 pea size of this mask. Next day, my skin like more hydrated, pimples marks reduced, new pimples heal up and I look younger. Wow what else to ask for?

Day time I will just cleanse, skin refiner, emulsion, water bank essence bbs cream as sunscreen, touch up with bb cushion.

I am so happy, just can't help seeing myself in the mirror,really waterful my skin. The effect is unbelievable. Laneige is so much cheaper than SKII, kose, shiseido etc. I managed to get those sample size from eBay, which really help me stretched my dollar: ):)

This stuff is ADDICTIVE!! The glowing reviews did not let me down. If you'd like to wake up looking younger, give this a try. I am not exaggerating. I've only ever used 3 or 4 products total that have delivered results this impressive (and that's out of a lifetime of being an utter product junkie). I'd give this product a million stars if I could.
I apply a thin layer at night after cleansing & toning (there is a sticky texture to it), go to sleep, and wake up to seriously radiant, plump, hydrated skin. Every single time. This stuff is amazing. And it doesn't cost a fortune either. Which is great because I absolutely have to repurchase when I run out- this is a real find! Thank you MUA!

After suffering from dermatitis, bacterial acne infection and a whole bunch of skin problems. From having perfect skin to hell. This little jar has bought me back to life. I use this every night and without it I would cry. It moisturizes, helps soothes dry patches, acne and it really just is what you need for your night time routine.

Oh my God. This product definitely came from the heavens above. It brought out my breakout and drastically reduced the intensity of my monthly pre-menstrual breakout. My skin is so soft. It doesnt feel sticky to me at all. A whole tub for around $40 (I believe it's about that much) seemed bit too expensive for me so I bought a few sample sizes off of eBay for dirt cheap.

I have to confess that i bought this after hearing countless raves about this product. And i must admit that it does live up to its hype. This is meant to be an intensive hydrating mask that works its magic when you are sleeping. Texture wise, it has a water bases consistency and soaks pretty easily onto the skin without an oiliness. I dont notice much difference when i put this on but when you leave it overnight, you do wake up the next morning with more plump skin. Skin feels very hydrated and make up glides on a lot more easily ! But the effect is temporary, but it works as a quick hydration boost to the skin. I tried The Face Shop Rasberry pack and laneige has a pretty similiar texture except this one doesnt break me out. Highly recommended !

Very nice scent and makes skin soft/ supple, but I agree with previous reviews- result doesn't last. I also use it about once a week, it can keep my skin very hydrated for a day or two but my skin will get dull again depends on weather or stress level etc. It does sting a little if my face is dry/ or if I use it after exfoliation. Overall I still would consider rebuy since it's a nice "emergency" mask to help hydrate skin.

Pro : nice scent, nice texture, moisturizing, keeps my face non oily and hydrated for the next day, somehow shrinks my pimples and clear off imperfections overnight so my face looks much better the next day (!!!)
Con: packaging (dislike the fact that I need to clean the spatula every single time to scoop out the mask) , price (fairly expensive >20$)

After reading all the good reviews, I decided to buy one. I waited til now that I'm almost finishing the jar to come and review it. It's been few months, I actually like it a lot.
Routine : I use it once a week after my mint julep mask (which can be quite drying to the skin). I apply one layer not too thick (I only apply that for that night, so no toner, no cream...), it actually gets absorbed completely by the time I go to bed so my pillow doesn't getting dirty. The next morning my face is not greasy at all (which is very obvious cuz all the other mornings I get oily in the area beside my nose). My redness is greatly reduced and skin stays hydrated for the next day. However, the results are not "permanent". My skin get oily again for the days I don't use the sleeping mask. Overall, I would definitely recommend it cuz it is a good "moisturizer" and relieves my skin from overdrying heating (canadian weather).

I really love this product very very much. Because i have combination so i don't need to use too much on my face actually. But it's really very hydrating and have a really nice scent. I like how i feel my skin every morning after i applied the sleeping pack over the night. My skin feel so soft!! Even my pimple size had minimize!! Although it's quite pricy but i would purchase it again after i have finish this bottle. Another good product from laneige. (:

I bought a small sample bottle of this on ebay and so far, I'm loving it. I'm very lazy when it comes to skincare but this mask actually makes me excited at night to put it on. It has gel-like moisturizer consistency and makes my face feels super cooling when I put it on. It just feels so refreshing. I dab a bit at night on my face and neck. In the morning when I wake up, my face would feel super nice and soft. You don't need a lot to cover your face and so a bottle goes a long way. :)

I have been using this mask for a very very long time (6 years and 7-8 bottles). I did try some other brands but always come back to this one. It is very hydrating and make your skin feeling so soft and moisturized the following morning. Also, when I use this mask I normally use it continuously for 7 days and I always see my skin become more clear and radiant after just a couple of days. Using it 7 days in a row can actually improve the skin texture quite a lot. Another good thing about this mask is, I use it when I have breakout and it really helps! So when I am experiencing any breakout or rough time on my face I just apply this product after toner and spot treatment and it will magically clear all my spots within days!

This smells good, and a little does more than a lot. Putting too much just makes my face really sticky. Putting a little helps keep my face feeling slightly moist and smooth. I like the smell - makes me feel very relaxed. I am not sure if it really works on my skin though. When i had terrible acne, it did nothing for my skin. My skin cleared up after going to see the derm and taking the prescribed medication. Now that my skin is cleared, i am trying these counter products again. Not too sure how effective this face mask is. Unless i am in Korea and the price is reasonable, unlikely that i will be getting this in Singapore where it goes for more than 50 per tub. Also, i dun really like the packaging since it is in the form of a tub and seems not so hygenic to be dipping my hand, or a stick in.

This product is great! I noticed my skin is much brighter and my pores are more refined in the morning whenever I use this product. The only downside is that it stings my face and lips area a little bit when applied. The smell is amazing!

Convenient:
For someone who doesn't want to spend 20-30 mins laying down with a white face mask on all the time, this is a good alternative. So easy to apply on my face and head straight to bed. It absorbs pretty quickly - just place a few dollops on cheeks/nose/forehead/chin & spread the dollops all over your face. I like to cover my face with my hands so the heat warms the product up & helps absorb.

Non-Greasy:
Though the product is gel-type, it's not greasy at all. There are overnight moisturizing masks/treatments I've used that left my face looking greasy in the morning. This doesn't leave any grease.

Effect on Skin:
My skin felt much more moisturized in the morning the first few times I used it (never used any overnight masks before), but that "wow" factor is gone now. It's possible that I'm just used to seeing better skin in the morning now after using this repeatedly, so I don't notice it. Product has a really clean & fresh scent.

I only use this 1-2x a week, though I would want to use it mroe often, but I get lazy with my night time skin regimen often.

Price: I believe around $16-20 USD. I had family purchase this overseas in Hong Kong Duty Free for me, so it's actually a really good product for the price.

This is a very average product for me. I bought this after reading rave reviews about the product, that my skin would be 10x more hydrated when I woke up after using this. However, I found that there was virtually no difference whether I used this product or not - that is, until I switched to a moisturiser that was not moisturizing enough. The product then performed wonderfully. I have since switched back to my original moisturiser (Shiseido).
My conclusion on this product is that, if it works for you, something is wrong with your moisturiser. It probably isn't moisturising enough if you can feel a difference after using this product. Would suggest that you change your moisturiser rather than use this product.

Smells fresh and the packaging is in a really appealing blue color.It comes in a jar with a spatula so just make sure your hands and the utensil is clean to avoid contamination. For someone who has problematic skin its sometimes hard to figure out when it's okay to wear a pack like this since we have to use acne treatments are night as well.


When I did use overnight I woke up and it left a slightly tacky residue on my face. I didn't really feel like it made my skin supple/soft like my eucerin cream did. Maybe if you don't have problematic skin and you're just looking for something to perk your skin up this might do the trick.


Now it just sits on my vanity looking pretty :x I'll give it another go when my cheeks are feeling dry and report back if anything changes.

Hydrate and does not break me out, works better with a serum. I won't recommand use it as a mask... I found it will be a little bit dry if I use it as mask....
Not very expensive but won't buy again...

Amazing, amazing mask!
It smells incredibly nice, and overall it's just a pleasure to put on my face XD


The best part is when you wake up in the morning, my skin feels incredibly soft, moisturized, and well loved lol.

I'm almost out :( but I will definitely be buying this one again for a while to come.

I really love this mask! When I cannot seem to sleep, I just put this on my face and it instantly knocks me out LOL. It feels so refreshing and once you open the jar, the smell just calms you down after a long day. I love the fact that when i get up in the morning, my face feels refreshed and bright! X3
