I have a hard time describing this color. My best guess is that it's a vampy raisin-brown-plum base with pink and gold shimmer. I thought the formula on this was great; it was opaque in 2 coats and wasn't streaky. However, I was disappointed that the shimmer that is so evident in the bottle is so hidden on the nails. Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful polish, but I'm just not 'wowed' by it like I am by other OPI polishes. I also found this to chip fairly easily on me.

As many below have said this is without a doubt a vampy color of polish. It's borderline difficult to describe but my attempt: a warm, dark burgundy brown with shimmers of rose-gold. Anyways, I found the formula a little bit on the thin side, though it could have been my particular bottle. At three coats I was satisfied and did like the way the shimmers caught light.. but something about it just doesn't *wow* me. Maybe it's my fair skin but I just find the look to be kind of boring, though unique if that even makes sense! I would not repurchase but would still recommend to others that are more inclined to dark polishes.

Very pretty dark shade. Loved the subtle magenta/gold flecks that catch the light. I paired this color with some black french tips.

I LOVE this OPI color. It looks different depending on the lighting, but always gives a beautiful deep tone. Perfect for fall/winter!! I absolutely love the shimmer. I scored this polish at a local beauty store - it was their last one and on clearance... I couldn't believe what a deal I scored. Now I have to find it online or another store because I never want to run out of this! Buy it if you can find it, I'm sure this will look great on most skin tones. The formula is great too - chipped only after a few days.

I love this dark black purple burgundy color with shimmer. This is definitetly one of my favoirte OPI polishes. It is a one coat polish and the formula is great.

This is a gorgeous, very dark eggplant and nearly black with beautiful red sparkles. It looks really amazing with navy and dark jeans. Done professionally, it took two coats along with a Stickey base coat and Stickey between each color coat and "OPI drip dry" on the top. It's day three and my nails are looking as fresh as the first day, and that's with dishwashing and hand washing. I love OPI nail polish, and think it is one of the best brands.

LOVE this polish. Being a deep burgundy brown it's not the normal sort of colour I would wear, but the glass fleck/micro-glitter makes it mesmerising and has opened up a whole new world of lemmings for me! Goes on opaque after two coats but needs two coats of tc to be completely smooth and shiny.

I am IN LOVE with this polish. I have over 75 polishes & this is in my top 5. It is one of the most beautiful dark polishes I have ever seen. The sparkles actually show up on your nails more than any other polish I own. This polish is just so unique. I found out about it on a popular nail polish blog (All Lacquered Up) being rated top 3 dark polishes of 2010, so I had to give it a shot. The swatches online do not give it justice. If you are able to get your hands on this, I would HIGHLY recommend it. Since it is one of my favorite of all time I am considering buying a backup.

Very Easy to apply. I really like this color because its very dark but it has a bit of red shimmer in it. I think the shimmer is definitely noticeable.

When I first saw the Burlesque collection this color didn't particularly stick out to me and it wasn't ones that I planned on purchasing. Then a friend of mine got it and wore it and from there I was in love. Its really shimmery dark purple brown and wears very well. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Lately, I've been really into vamp-y reds and plums in nail polish. I was worried that this would be too black and the glitter wouldn't show up on my nails, but this polish comes off as a nice, dark burgundy with visible shimmer. As per usual, it's OPI so I love the wide brush that makes application a breeze. Also, OPI nail polish bottles are so large that repurchasing isn't necessary, so I checked no when asked if I would buy this again.

When swatches first began floating around of the Burlesque collection this one did not jump out at me. However i'm gIad I picked this up. This ones tough to explain but its a burgandy,plummy,brown with shimmer thats not to gaudy but just right. I think this would be beautiful on all skintones.

This color is a dupe for CG Side Saddle in my opinion so if you have that one I would pass on this one. Because I have CG Side Saddle I may be biased with my review. I found Tease-y Does It to be a little streaky. It also reminds me of OPI Midnight in Moscow with how sheer the first coat is. Otherwise the shimmer is great, I wouldn't repurchase and it's not a must have.

A deep dark plum-y brown base with beautiful gold shimmer! I think it is really pretty and the formula is great, a total breeze to apply. This is probably my favorite non-glitter burlesque shade! Definitely recommend picking this one up :)

This color is really pretty, and like someone else said its a bit like "a raisin with shimmer", but the shimmer doesn't show up on the nail like it does in the bottle. I thought this was going to have a bit of duochrome in the glitter judging by the bottle, but it really isn't there on the nail. It is a very pretty color (and a very near dupe of Nubar Raspberry Truffle), but I can't say I love it

I love vampy nail polishes. I especially wanted this one because it has awesome shimmer/glitter in it. I love it. I thought the glitter would have been more obvious though. That's the only con. I still love it though. I was also surprised at how fast it dried. I love it! I always end up messing my nail polish because I'm always moving. This dried super fast! The formula is awesome. All I needed was 2 layers and I was done.
It's one of my loves for sure :D
I might just buy another one because I love it so much

I love this color in the bottle, but found that it doesn't look nearly as pretty on my nails. It came out sort of a brown rather than the eggplant described in other reviews, and I thought the sparkles could have been more obvious. I have so many dark and glittery polishes that I wanted this one to stand out, and it didn't.
That being said, the formula is nice (as per usual with OPI) and the brush is good, just not the color for me.

This is my first Burlesque polish and won't be my last. Gorgeous color that reminds me of a raisin with shimmer. Very flattering and goes with many of the fall colored clothing. Wears really well. I have had it on for 3 days now with minimal tip wear. Would recommend.

I love this color, it is such a pretty color for the fall. I want to wear it all the time. Its a dark color yet the shimmer in it, brightens it up. Highly reccomend.

I fell in love with this color immediately. I have it on as I type this review and I must say it looks fantastic as a moon manicure. The formula is excellent (typical of OPI in my experience) that goes opaque at two coats. It goes on smooth and self-levels to a perfect finish. The shimmer is subtle enough to make this a sophisticated shade but it flashes enough to add a bit of glamour. A perfect fall shade but it looks so beautiful in the sun - I'd wear this any time of the year.
