This is an extremely rich OILY and "butter" based moisturizer. I like the idea of NOT diluting the moisturizer with water or other unnecessary ingredients. It forms a nice barrier on the skin to prevent moisture loss but it doesn't absorb well so I have to be careful not putting too much on my skin.


I purchased 2 scents during Bubble & Bee spring sale for 30% off - Coconut and lime & Raspberry and Vanilla. I liked the coconut and lime smell but it smelled a little too strong when you first put it on. However, the "raspberry and vanilla" smelled like spoiled vinegar when I opened the jar. I don't know if it was close to expiration or the temperature may have change the properties of the vanilla extract. Since I bought the body butters at the sale price, they may have been sitting on the shelves for a long time & probably expired. The smell was so unpleasant that I had to throw it away.


One thing I don't like about "Bubble and Bee" is the bad return policy. So if you received an expired product or have allergic reactions with their products, they will not let you return product. Perhaps I will order the "Unscented" version of the body butter so I don't run into the same problem again.

General Returns / Exchanges

We are happy to exchange your products or give you a refund of the purchase price of any UNOPENED ITEM (not including shipping). Just notify us in writing within thirty (30) days of your purchase at returns @ bubbleandbee.com and we will exchange the product or give you a refund for the purchase price of the item on any unopened item. We "CANNOT return OPENED or USED items, as we cannot RESELL them". We have opted to keep our pricing reasonable and to give you combo package options so it doesn't take a large investment to try our products.

You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with an exchange unless the product has been found to be defective. For defective items, click here. Please do not send items for a return without a proper return authorization. We reserve the right to not approve a return or exchange based on the condition of the item when it returns to us.

I looove this body butter!! I love the smell and especially how it leaves my skin. I use it every other day; there is no need to use it every day because it leaves my skin so soft for a long time, even if I take a shower I don't need to reapply it. A little goes a looong way so it lasts a long time. And I love that it is 100% organic. Bubble and Bee is amazing!!

This is a great product, all natural/organic, very convenient to throw in your purse, you can use it as a balm, for cuticles, to smooth your hair, as a lotion concentrated on spots like knees and elbows, etc. Even as a solid perfume. Personally I don't love the raspberry scent as it's a bit overly sweet for me - I prefer the Coconut Lime, the Lavendar Orange, or the Sunflower Lemon. But for those who like fruity sweet scents, this is for you. It's basically vanilla and raspberry together.

I love the Body Butters by Bubble & Bee, and this one is no exception.
It's very natural and smells wonderful. The scent is a yummy, soft, lightly sweet raspberry that is softened with a hint of vanilla. Smells like something you'd actually find in a bakery, since it's so natural.
The texture is very thick from the wonderful shea butter base. It sinks right into your skin and keeps it soft all day.
I've been trying to use only very natural skin products since your body absorbs anything you apply to it, and this (and all other Bubble & Bee products) fits into my beauty routine nicely.

Wow - This Body butta is Fantastic - But there is a few things to keep in mind!!
For those of you who don't care about natural/organic products this is probably not for you.

Although you would be amazed by it theres no point wasting you time and money on such a wonderfully fantastic organic product if your just going to ruin it by still using commercial brands!!

The butta is 100% organic, contains the best ingredients that have been used for centuries for healthy glowing skin, without any nasty stuff!! The customer service is amazing as is the fact the owner is so helpful and knowledgeable about everything organic and natural, she has a blog and chemical of the day for everything you need to know!!

I actually purchased two of these body butta's, this scent and the coconut lime one also.

I love everything except one thing about this product, even though I heart the packaging and it looks so good on my dressing table lol, I am not friends with the plastic around the tub as you need to slide it down to take the lid off then slide it back up, It would be alot better it is was a sticker!!

The butta is like cake frosting, you only need a little bit as it contains no water!! a little bit goes a very long way!! the smell is amazing!! I keep going into my room just to smell it mmmmm.

I apply it by patting water onto my skin first and then applying some of the butta!! it is thick but as i live in Scotland this is not a problem actually an advantage but i see that if you lived in a very hot country this could be a problem to use daily!!

Since using this product my skin is so smooth and glowing and looks so cared for!! this is definitely a life time product for me, If my BF would stop stealing it from me!! and my sister too!!

First of all, I love the fact that this is organic! You can really trust anything you order from Bubble and Bee. :) They carry both a scented and un-scented version of their Body Butter. I personally LOVE the scented (raspberry and vanilla)-- it smells like a raspberry cheesecake!! I like to apply this to my hands at night, it makes them super soft! You can use this as an all-over moisturizer, but it is a bit thick!
