I bought this on a whim when I was at my local drugstore, since I have pretty gross bacne and wanted to treat it. After using it for a while, I can say that this works pretty well! It's not a miracle product that clears up your body acne after one day, but it did help diminish my bacne and make my skin become smoother there. It has a sort of stinging alcohol-y scent when you first spray it (I try not to breath after the initial spray) but it fades in a few seconds, and I only use it at night, so it's not a big problem.
Also, a tip from experience: when you condition your hair, make sure you tilt your head to keep it from touching your skin! I realized that a huge cause for my bacne was my hair conditioner. No matter how much I rinsed, the conditioner would stick onto my skin and break me out, so when I ran out of conditioner and realized my bacne had cleared up significantly, I realized I should be more careful. Hope this helps! :D

I don't necessarily think this body spray is awful, it just doesn't give me very noticeable results. I was very excited to try it, as I often get breakouts on my shoulders and they tend to be very stubborn, and I've been using it pretty religiously (once or twice a day) for about 2 months... I'm just not seeing a ton of improvement in my breakouts, unfortunately. I will use the rest of my bottle, but I don't think I'll buy it again unless it suddenly performs a miracle. On the plus side, I DO like the design of the 360-degree spray bottle, and the spray feels very refreshing on a hot day.
The worst thing about this body spray is definitely the smell. I tend to like the smell of Neutrogena products in general, but this doesn't smell like their soaps or shampoos, or like their other skincare products... it just has a very strong, unpleasant medicinal quality that lingers on my skin for quite a while. I wish Neutrogena would do more to mask whatever causes that scent.

I have bought many bottles of this wonderful product and nothing seems to work better to help relieve my chest acne. I only need to use this spray once or twice a week to keep my chest from flaring up. I rarely get pimples on my face but my chest can break out really badly and I use Neutrogena's Body Clear Body Scrub daily. I find that if I use the body spray daily, my skin becomes too dry and starts to peel. Also, after I spray my skin, I need to wait about 5 minutes for my skin to dry before I put on any clothes, otherwise I'm concerned that I may discolor my clothing. Altogether, between the spray and the scrub, I have my chest acne under control.

I have had the strangest struggles with mild and stubborn adult acne since I stopped taking birth control pills over a year ago. I have used several different oral prescription medications (solodyn, spironolactone) for the acne that I get on my chest and back and while they did work, I didn't like being so dependent on oral prescriptions --- especially since one was an antibiotic and the other altered my hormones.
I slowly weened myself off of 100mg daily of the Spiro and continued using a once daily benzoyl peroxide 10% wash (I buy a 4-pack of the oxyclean on amazon for less than $20, and I also let it sit on my skin for several minutes in the shower before washing) and started using this body spray when I randomly came across it at my local CVS. I have used the Neutogena Body Clear Scrub/Wash in the past, but it did absolutely nothing for me, so it took me a few minutes to decide if I should try this product. However, I'm glad that I did because this spray seems to be working well in conjunction with the benzoyl peroxide! For the past month I have used this spray twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed. I haven't had any breakouts and only get the occasional small pimple that goes away so quickly I don't even fret about it. I would recommend anyone to at least try this product as the price makes the risk worthwhile. Consider trying my regimen, it may work for you!

I bought this to get rid of some annoying bacne. I can see that it's working, and that's really all that matters to me. Yes, it smells awful at first and you have to hold your breath, but once the alcohol evaporates it's really not noticeable. Mostly what I like about this is that it's very low-maintenance - it takes me about 10 seconds to spray it on before I go to bed.

While the product did its job rather well, the claim that it is a 360 degree spray is a total lie. I wasn't even able to finish my bottle since the nozzle stopped spraying and just spit out the product. I attempted the clear the nozzle under water but this did nothing. I suppose I could use the solution with a cotton pad but this defeats the purpose of a spray. Very disappointed.

I'm surprised the reviews on this are not better. This is the only thing that has cleared up my stubborn chest and back breakouts...to me it's a miracle product!!! I use it once a day in the mornings and it keeps my chest and back clear...I have the occasional breakout if I skip a day. I will never be without this stuff...love it!

This stuff smells so horrible I can't stand to use it! Every time I try I feel like I'm inhaling toxic fumes and am going to die! Although a spray may be easier to apply to hard-to-reach back areas, I prefer to just use medicated acne pads.

I used this (almost) everyday for about 4 weeks, after using the body clear body wash, and I was really disappointed. After the first week, I thought my chest was clearing up nicely! But after that.....nothing happened.
And nothing else happened for the rest of the 3 weeks.
Hence my disappointment! I heard great things about it, and I was so excited for clear skin!

I use this in conjunction with the Body Clear Scrub for back acne and it definitely serves its purpose. I tried it on my chest and after a day or two, my chest itched uncontrollably and burned when I tried to apply Eucerin to make it feel better. I also got dark bruise marks on my chest but I think all of these side effects were from applying it too many times a day which was twice. I stopped the use on my chest altogether and just use it on my back now which along with the body scrub, keeps pimples away and my back is smooth. There are still spots/markings/scarring from back acne before I started using the Body Clear line though which I hope will fade with time.

This thing is horrible. I used this on my chest and it kind of clogged my pores. After using this, I broke out like crazy! it's not worth buying it. There's a lot of fragrance inside of this. Not worth it! This does not suit oily skin type.

Didn't do a darned thing! I've been using Murad Body Clarifying Spray for years and I love it, but it's $36. So I jumped at this one when it came out. It's sticky and has a lot of fragrance, but that wouldn't matter if it worked. It just. doesn't. work. Weird, because I use the Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash and it works well for me. This was a waste of money - back to Murad!

This is my third week using this product. So far I have seen a slight improvement with my back acne. I suffer from the red painful deep in the skin acne, have not seen those in the past three weeks. But i still get some here and there. The smell is okay. WARNING:Do not spray inside the restroom after a very hot shower, you will inhale the product and feel suffocated for a moment. lol One thing i have noticed, which is the reason i will purchase this product again. Is that it has almost completely disappeared those small bumps on my arms, its not eczema, they are not visible but i have always felt them. Since the start of the product they have gradually gone away. Overall till i find another back acne spray like this one i will continue to re purchase it.

I suffer from backne and had great hopes for this product to rid me of stubborn clogged pores in the back! So far I've used up about 1/2 of the bottle and noticed a slight improvement - I'm no longer getting painful pimples on my back, and there seems to be fewer clogged pores now. However, this is no miracle cure and hasn't cleared up my back. That said, I will use up this product and make up my mind then. The 360 degree pump does work well and allows the product to be sprayed upside-down. One word of caution: hold your breath while spraying this, as it has a very alcoholic scent, unless you want to get a high!

i used up an entire bottle of this stuff and i didnt notice a significant difference. i hate the smell which is pretty strong and for some reason everytime i spray this stuff, i end up inhaling and suffocating on it and im not that sensitive to smells but this one burns my notrils. the only thing i liked is that its easily accesible, its cheap, and the packaging is a small clear bottle that can be sprayed upside down.

PROS: Works great to help keep body acne under control (with cleanser as well, of course.) Like a spray toner for the body.
CONS: I don't really know of one except that it doesn't smell good, but I don't know of any d/s or cheap alternates that work this well.
