GORGEOUS. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS. Can I just keep saying that? Because that is what Ravens & Writing Desks is. Flat-out beautiful. It is a rich purple-mauve shade...cool mauve? I always thought mauve was a warm color, so that's why I'm saying purple-mauve. It is definitely a cool color though. I seriously want everything in my life from now on to be this color. So far I have only worn it alone, with the exception of a matte highlight matching my skin tone, and a subtle black wing, because I can't bring myself to detract from this beautiful shade. I'm still working on how to do a more dimensional eye without pulling focus from Ravens & Writing Desks. I'd love to try it as a liner as well.
As with the matte shades, Pixie Epoxy will not improve the look of this one. A regular primer will do just fine.
I haven't even used up a fraction of my sample, and I'm planning on buying a full-size jar of this. Again, GORGEOUS.

I am always on the lookout for a nice purple/violet shadow to make my green eyes pop. Trouble is, 95% of them make me look pink-eyed and rabbity. Unfortunately, this shadow also makes me look terrible, I'm so sad, because it's a gorgeous light purple with pink undertones. It's a fab color, but just not on me. (This is also is the least sparkly of the Fyrinnae shadows I ordered in my 6 item order, and all were matte to low shimmer.) I really, really wanted to love this, but no go.
