I've been using this about twice weekly for a long time and my skin seems to love it. I recommend using this in the morning if you need to force yourself into waking up, I find it very refreshing and my skin feels so clean afterwords. Be careful not to use too often however as I've found with frequent use my skin becomes extremely sensitive.

I really like this exfoliator it's awesome!! I like how this is creamy but still gently abrasive to buff and remove the dullness without stripping the skin it also has a built in moisturizer so it's great for all skin types because it helps address acne prone skin and dry skin even sensitive! So try this out because I hear sephora will no longer carry S&G face products anymore just online! So face soap and clarity try it out too!

I set my exfoliation schedule to be once every 2-3 days, but since I used the sonic cleaner, I changed this routine a bit so that I only exfoliate when my skin starts to look dull. I know that regular exfoliation benefits the skin, but I am a bit afraid to strip my face raw too frequently.


I still haven’t seen how different the effect is when using a sonic brush compared to just using my fingers to apply the product.


The Good
It’s affordable at £7.00 for the tube. Since it’s not being used daily, I reckon this tube will last for ages before it’s time to get a new one.


It seems to be a gentle exfoliator, the beads feel nice on the face.


The Not-So-Good
I still can’t seem to find the beads that are meant to be popped as described in the package!


One thing I found a bit annoying was the lid. It’s a screw-on lid, which makes is a bit inconvenient. I habitually seal/replace the cap/lid/cover of any product I use right after dispensing the amount I need, so I found it a bit annoying to have to screw on the lid whilst having the product on my fingers.


The Verdict
It’s an exfoliator, so it isn’t one of those products in your routine that requires an HG. I’m happy I have it, but I would definitely try a new exfoliator once I’ve finished the tube.

This is a scrub with very fine particles so it is quite gentle, plus it doesn't dry out my skin. I like it, but it's not a life-changing product either...

it's a good scrub that works for my combination skin. smell is ok and packaging too. i love that its a gentle scrub. the only thing i hate is when i wash it off my face it gives an oily-weirdo taste/feel on my lips, which usually disgusts me but i'm sick of searching for scrubs that work so i'm sticking to it.

Love this for a more gentle scrub, it has two beads size, really tiny and some medium size (those are less in quantity than the tiny ones), this scrub just reveals a newer layer of skin and has a minty type of smell, I really like it (it's not the regular soap and glory scent, the one in the righteous butter and hand food) I also have the 'no pore' mask and they both have the same exact minty scent.
Anyway, I really like this product, it's much more gentle than the st. Ives which just didn't work for my skin because it was harsh.
I use this 4 times a week like recommended on the back, it's recommended you use it 2-4 times if you have oily skin and 1-2 times for drier skin. Overall it's just a good scrub, nothing too fantastic it does it's job, has a lovely scent and lovely packaging, what else can you ask for in a scrub?

I really like the product! Smells nice, my skin feels clean after using it... the whole package! The only thing I really hate is how the lid is twist off... idk it just feels like a waste of time instead of the flip up caps! And its kinda expensive for an exfoliator that isn't made to do anything special! But yeah i'd buy it again!

I am in love with the S&G body scrubs and find this face scrub to be pretty much the same standard I wanted it to be! I use this only twice a week as I have dry skin but it really is amazing! It makes my skin feel like its had a really deep clean and leaves my skin looking fresher. I like that the grains actually feel like they're doing something, as I hate it when scrubs are a bit 'weak' if that makes sense, I like to know that the product is actually doing something for my skin. This works amazingly well for me, I would definitely recommend and by again.

Have to admit, I didn't really like this product.

I have combination skin but it just didn't leave a 'clean' enough feeling. It made my skin feel a bit greasy, didn't really do much for my complexion...infact, it made no positive difference...even made me break out a little. I didn't like the texture or the smell either!

In my opinion, S&G's 'Face soap and Clarity' is a much better product which left my face squeaky clean and glowing!

I love this product ! today was my first day of using it and it made my skin so soft and smothe. I love the fact that not only does it have little exfoliating particles but it also has beads that contain salicylic acid which is great for my oily skin. If you have oily skin i would defos recommend this !

I liked the smell of the product and the packaging quite a bit. (I'm a sucker for cute packaging!!!) It's a little pricey for my budget, however, and it didn't seem to work any better than any other scrub I've ever used. It's a decent scrub, but I wouldn't buy it again because I'm a product whore, and I'm always searching for something better. :-)

As with most of Soap and Glorys products this product is great. Leaves my skin baby soft and smooth and is gentle enough to use two to three tikmes a week. Would rephurchase.

I love this scrub I use it 2-3 times a week and on one of the days I use it,I leave it on for up to 5 mins b4 I scrub off.It smells lovely and leaves skin silky smooth whit a nice glow,out of all the scrubs I have used this is by far the best

I had this scrub and used it a couple of times a week, to be honest I didn't feel any real difference to any other facial scrub i've used for over half the price. It's nice to use, but I don't think it actually does anything! As it's very pricey and I've found other scrubs which work better I wouldn't recommend this and I wouldn't repurchase.

this is a great scrub for frequent use! its not to abrasive and i leaves your skin soft and clean! smells nice and not too foamy, only downside i found was the packageing, it has a twist top it would be so much better if it had a flip top!!!!

HG Facewash!

This product has improved my skin so much. I use it every other day and it has completely stopped the occasional spots I get around my chin. It makes your skin super soft and smooth, but doesn't dry you out at all. I think it gives my skin a nice glow too. I will continue to use this product as long as they make it - it is absolutely perfect for me. LOVE IT.

I received this face scrub as part of the big xmas hat box for 2009 and so far I am loving it I use it about 2/3 times a week it has a little salicylic acid so is good for my sensitive, occasionally breakout prone skin that hate letting go of spot scars, most products bother my skin, make it go red and cause spots but i have found that is avoided by using them less often.

This scrub has a nice cremy texture and a mildly minty refreshing scent which I quite like and I usually hate stuff that smells of mint. the exfoliating beads are small and grainy and disintegrate as you massage the skin and not harsh like those in say Apricot Scrub.

Exfoliating is all well and good but I find that Exfoliating Gloves with a bar fr soap also works just as good so long as you dont overdo the scrubbing.

60% of the time I use Dove Soap for my face as its the only thing that never breaks me out, but this and Clinique Extra Mild Liquid Facial Soap get interchanged a couples of times a week with no bother for the last few months and my skin has actually improved as well, especially by using Pure Tea Tree Oil on spots.

To be on the safe side If I want to use different products more often I double wash and use Dove after as well as it is my Holiest of Holy grails!
