Like the color but once I removed it I noticed it stained my nails horribly yellow - took 2 weeks to get them back to normal :/

Cotton candy is a very light pink with a subtle gold shimmer to it . It takes about three coats to be completely opaque . However the reason why I gave it three lippies was because a) it is very streaky . Getting an even application takes a lot of patience , and b) the scent is very sickly sweet for my liking . Also the color is unflattering on me , but that's just my opinion . Overall this is a nice polish , just not for me .

A really nice cute colour, easy application, it smells nice and sweet for the first day but after that there's little to no scent. Only negative is it started chipping quite badly on the third day.

This is a lovely baby pink with subtle gold shimmer. The smell is definatly a candy smell. It's not the best but it doesn't bother me but stay through the whole applicaton. I like having 3 coats which is opaque.

I was looking for a sheer pink that was not too white or frosty, and I think I've found it with this polish. I used three coats and a top coat to get it totally opaque and add some shine. I didn't notice the "scent" after it was dry, either because I used a top coat or because I don't really care to smell my toes! ;) Either way, the consistency was good, the brush was good and I am happy with the color which is a very, very light pink with just the tiniest hint of shimmer.

Update: took off one lippie because it had bubbles once it dried.

Very pretty. I had no issues with drying time. I'm also pleasantly surprised at its staying power; this is the third day after application and not one chip. The scent is really a non-issue; I can't say I've even noticed it. I bought it for the colour, though, not the scent.

I like this polish overall - it only took me two coats to get the color that I wanted, and I didn't have issues with drying time since I paint my nails in front of the tv which helps pass the time. The scent is a little annoying especially the first day, but it fades away, and I bought this nail polish more for the color than anything else. I really like the color - it looks like cotton candy - and the extra gold shimmer makes it really pretty.

I really really love this because as NC30 gal, i have the darnest time finding a sweet innocent pale pink without making my fingers look 'dirty' in any light. yes, it is a BIG difficult problem for me to find a nice pale pink that doesnt look too cool or just look ugly in any sort of light from wal-mart lighting to sunshiney outdoors. I am so glad to find this color Revlon cotton candy scented NP at walmart. it is a pale pink (almost nude but still very noticable pale pink) with very fine flecks of golden shimmer which are very hard to see and not noticable at all on polish. so it looks creme but not so quite to very trained eye. i think these gold flecks help make this polish look beautiful on me. soooo lovely. The formula can be quite a challenege to deal with: takes very long to dry (as reviewers says below) so SV can help with that (though i dont use it). it takes about 2-3 coats for true color finish. these dont bother me cause i am just happy to find a nice pale pink NP. will post pic here soon.

Takes forever to dry. I dented the polish both times I applied it because I thought it'd be dry after some time and it wasn't. The color isn't that great and the application is terrible. It just does not harden! A day later you can push the polish and smudge it, ridiculous formula.

crap formula. the color is so pretty, tho--a sweet baby pink with very subtle gold shimmer. just completely adorable. but streaky! i hate revlon's sheer polishes. it does take four coats to get an even look, but then it's so dang thick on your nails, it's not very flattering at all. the smell is very sweet, just like cotton candy and lasts thru numerous handwashing for days. i just wish the formula was better because it would be so pretty (and a 5 star rating) if you only had to apply two coats. i really love the color in the bottle.

Cotton candy is a creamy-pastel, light baby pink polish. It is soft, and pretty - a great natural colour without looking TOO natural.

Like many of the Scents of Summer range, it takes 4 coats to get an opaque colour. Cotton Candy smells EXACTLY like Gumdrop (another of Revlon's scents of summer polish). So I dunno what's going on there? But it is a bit sickly (scent lasts for about a day).

All in all, a pretty subtle but sweet polish.
