I really love this set. I will get a good use out of all these products. The shadows are super pretty. I love the glosses. The liner works well for me. First time trying a liner pen and I really like it. I haven't used the shimmer much yet, but it is really pretty too.

Smashbox value kits are generally fantastic quality and value, and this one is no exception.

The eyeshadow palette is lovely - the colours are candy pink, golden wheat, and jewel´toned purple. They're not too bright to be over the top for work, but have enough kick in them to be a change from neutrals. In the palette there's also a gunmetal grey cream liner with shimmer. It's perfect for daytime use or along the lower lashline, applies like a dream (though as it's a cream rather than a gel formulation, it needs a primer under it to help it last).

The shimmer powder is the surprise star of the set, it's a complex neutral with shimmer. In the jar it looks pale pink, but applied it reflects golden, nude and melon colours. It's lovely in the corners of the eye but is a little to much to use on cheekbones in the daytime.

The liner pen is superior to any liquid liner pen I've tried, including MAC, and adds drama to the look if you want to step it up for a night out.

I love the texture of the glosses, they're not too sticky and have a sort of balmy feel. One end is a sheer cotton candy pink, the other a sheer berry red.

Overall this is a great day-to-night kit, especially if you're bored with neutrals and want a bit of a change. All the products are good quality and full size. Thanks Smashbox!!

I love the package this comes in, very cute..great keepsake.
I have tried everything.. My favorite products in this are the Eyeshadow quad and the lipgloss.. The eyeshadows are really nice colors that go on very well and last all day, i was impressed.. You can make a light daywear look with the pink and champaghne or go dramatic at night with the eggplant shade combo... Love it.....
The lipgloss is fantastic.. The red shade is more of a berry color, it glides on, not sticky, lasts for a long time and doesnt bleed as well... I put the pink shade on top for a soft look..
The eyeliner is awful-- hard to get a straight line and doesnt last all day--dissapointed in this and wont use it...
The shimmer is really light and have no use for it.....

Would have been perfect if they included a mascara instead of the liner and shimmer.

OVERALL: Cute palette. Includes Shadow Quad, Liquid Liner Pen, Duo Gloss, and Loose Shimmer Powder. Timber (national artist) said Smashbox did all the make up for the movie and this is their promo kit for that. This is a small version, released everywhere. Nordstrom is selling a deluxe exclusive kit that includes these items PLUS an eyeliner palette, a blush, o-glow, and mascara.

COLOR: Shadow Quad - leans cool- Eggplant purple (no shimmer), light pink with shimmer, flesh/nude shimmer, and a slate blue cream liner/shadow. Very wearable colors. Lip Gloss Duo- soft light pink (almost sheer) & bright wine (looks darker in bottle, goes on lips as fusia, but deep). Liner Pen- true black. Shimmer Powder- gold/pinky/frosty color, very similar to BE Cupcake.


PROS: This kit is on trend, and quality. If someone is looking to update with a few products, get this.

CONS: Limited Edition. Though, most colors seem to have pretty close matches in their regular line.

PRICE: $35 USD
