This was my first mineralize shadow and overall I'm very impressed with them. They are very, very glittery. More so than they look in the pan but the colours are beautiful, they're very strong and the green is really unusual. They work well as liners too. I've found you need to apply with damp brushes to get a visible colour and control where the glitter goes but they seem to wear really well - mine have stayed put for hours without budging or covering the rest of my face in glitter, though I use a primer or cream shadow first.
I've given them four lippies. They are beautiful, strong, glittery shades and they are the longest wearing glitter shadows I've ever used. The downside is that they are expensive and they both have a sheer, black undertone to the colours, and if you blend them together too much they look a bit muddy.
I would buy again if that were an option although I'm pretty sure this one will last me ages. It's not exactly everyday eyeshadow.

I love this eye shadow duo. This is the eye shadow from the Malificent collection I prefer because it is actually like two eye shadows (blue and green) instead of one (My Dark Magic - purple... and... purple??). They look gorgeous together or in seperate looks. Dry, they are kind of boring. Just blackish with green (or blue) sparkles. Wet, they are way better, brighter, more pigmented, longer lasting. There is a ton of product in these duos so they will last a looooong time. Overall, a must have that performs. One of my favorites from the Venomous Villians collection. Only bad thing is I have issues with the packaging as the clear plastic part with Malificent keeps falling out and I have to keep snapping it back in place. Other than that, this product is one I highly reccommend. And no I am not a MAC zombie- (not that there is anything wrong with this but it can lead to biased reviews) -- I prefer Chanel. :) But this product is great and the one I would advise to get out of the Venomous Villians collection if you had to pick only one. :)

MAC's mineralize eyeshadows are not something I would usually purchase. When swatching them in-store, they usually leave me underwhelmed. I bought this particular shadow because 1) I liked the collection theme 2) Thought the swatches of product looked interesting. Overall, it's an OK eyeshadow used dry. However, I much prefer using it wet and I love using it as a liner. IMO it is a little too sparkly for everyday wear but can definitely spice up a night look. Though it is limited edition, I doubt I will run out of this stuff anytime soon due to the fact I use it so sparingly and MES have a TON of product.

I bought this along with My Dark Magic and both are absolutely amazing I do admit the black on both shadows are sheer but a little black base solves that problem. I was a little weary of the price but once I opened it and saw how huge the pan was I thought it was well worth it.

Would I buy this product again! I only wish I could seeing how it's a limited edition. Overall I am very impressed. The payoff is excellent and the color totally wicked! Looks great dry but I prefer wet!

Got this just today ;)
Very gorgeous eyeshadow (especially the dark green side): smooth texture, good color payoff (keep in mind, please, it's a MES) and nice sparkling finish. Love the generous amount of the product: I think it will last me for my next seven lifes XD
Not being properly a fan of Disney's Venomous Villains, I'm not crazy about the packaging, but that's really not important: according to the quality, it's a five star product.

MOST OVER HYPED PRODUCT EVER.
I'm not a fan of mac collections, and I could care less about packaging. I usually prefer the permanent stuff BUT I thought this eyeshadow look pretty on the swatches I saw online. And also I read they had changed the formula of their mineralize eyeshadows , so the glitter fall out was less than the other ones. So a friend went to travel and brought it to me. And I was so disapointed, this is PURE glitter, no color! As soon as you apply the glitter start falling all over your face, and DONT even try to clean, there is so many sparkle on this, it's impossible. I apply with a product I use to apply pigments, so I thought it would keep this eyeshadow in place but it didnt.
Will never buy their mineralize eyeshadows again.
It looks pretty ONLY in the package.

I decided to buy this eyeshadow a few days ago because here in Spain the Venomous Villains MAC collection was sold out even before launching!!! I prefer buying cosmetics after seeing them at stores but, at this time, it was completely impossible, and I was absolutely in love with this eyeshadow since I watched some reviews on youtube.
I must say I really love this stuff. The packaging is veeeeery cute with Maleficent on top, I love it! And the eyeshadow is...absolutely gorgeous. Itīs one of the mineralize MAC eyeshadow duo in deep navy with blue pearl and deep forest green with lime green pearl both glittering. As usual, itīs highly pigmented and it doesnīt crease or fade.Just perfect! The only con I find is that it is a limited edition but in comparision to that, itīs an 0.11 oz pot instead of 0.7 what itīs ok.
My recommendation: go for it on ebay before itīs too late!!!
UPDATE: After using it during the last days I have to add one big CON: itīs beautiful on the pan but it falls out all over your face throughout the day. I do transffer all that glitter to everyone I kiss kinda fairy touch, argggggggggg!!!!Definetely won't repurchase it. One lippie out.

Ok I love the whole Venomous Villains collection and this MES was no different. The moment I swatched this baby on my hand, I immediately grabbed it. The colours are amazing. However, I made a mistake of tight lining with it and that was a disaster! Anyway used with a great base - the colour pay off is fantastic. LOVE!

i got this along with my dark magic and the vv nail laquers. (LOVE LOVE) these 2 shadows are absolutely gorgeous. the green makes my light green eyes pop like mad. i tend to use the blue in the crease or outer v. i always use it with udpp and the color payoff is unbelievable. applied wet it'll flat out knock you on your a$$. the only complaint i have is i can't put them in my palette - BOO. but the colors are so beautiful who cares - i'll deal!

My first mineralize eyeshadow duo ever, and it made itself heard, so hooray for all the other mineralize eyeshadows to come. For starters, great colors. Shimmery midnight blue and shimmery forest green. The green bit is my favorite, its color payoff is amazing and it doesn't cause as much fallout as I would expect. The blue part is also very decent in terms of payoff, a bit chalkier than the green somehow, but I can live with it. This really does make you feel like a wicked witch - the two of them combined make for a gorgeous, dark and mysterious smoky eye look. If you want to make the colors pop and stand out even more, try applying with a dampened shader brush; then you get this magical, sparkly-piece-of-fabric-on-your-lid effect. In an alternate dimension where this wasn't a limited edition color, I would repurchase.

This mineralize shadow is absolutely stunning and a must have! At first when I saw videos on youtube, it looked way too glittery but when I swatched it at the MAC counter, I couldn't help but fall in love.
The COLOURS: It splits in two - Dark (almost navy) blue with blue glitter and emeraldy green with green glitter. You get slightly more of the blue than the green but both colours are just as vibrant as each other. They have a black undertone to them, almost as though you were putting down a black base before putting on the shadow, however not as intense. In my opinion, the black tone really helps to them really brings out the blue and green and they look so stunning! And although, it's way too dark for a day look, it would work amazingly well for night out make up.
The SIZE and PRICE: The quantity you get is much more than regular mineralize eyeshadows and the size on the case is the same as MAC blushes. This is excellent considering that normally mineralize eyeshadows are Ģ15 and these are Ģ16. So definitely worth the money as it is highly likely anyone would run out of this too soon, if ever!
The FORMULA: Ok, so I wore this on a night out yesterday, under UDPP and MAC's Paint pot in Laying Low, and the colour pay off was amazing! It was chalky and applied on smoothly. I used a bit of MACs FIX+ to wet the brush so the shadows were super duper vibrant. More importantly, after coming back home at 4am, sweating and all sorts. Although my eyeliner had faded, my eyeshadow stayed the same, and usually I get a lot of creasing! So i am super duper impressed with MAC on this one!
Final word of advice, buy it now!!!! :)

I am in love with this! I own tons and tons of very nice eye shadows and I own nothing that has a finish quite like this! The green side is my favorite, as it has more sparkle than the blue, and is just overall a bit more vibrant. But, the blue is a beautiful night-sky color with bluish-purpley sparkles. Note, there are sparkles and NOT glitter.
WHile these end up looking crazy-insane-bold if you apply them wet, they can be applied lightly and used in the day time. I have used both colors in the daytime successfully.
The pros: you get a ton of product here. I can't imagine running out anytime soon, the packaging is great, the colors are unique and pretty.
Cons: there is a little bit of fallout, it is on the pricey side at $21
Overall: I love it and think I will wear it a LOT! Both colors!

This is a fabulous colour and I am glad I managed to pick some up before it sold out. The green and blue works really well together and I would say has just the right level of shimmer - it isn't crazily shiny but it does have a little shimmer. I have given this a four rather than a five for two reasons - the first is that the price is very high and there is a lot of product. This one is going to last forever, but realistically, it isn't going to be an everyday shadow. I would have preferred a smaller pot and smaller price. The second is because you need a slightly sticky base primer (the MAC paint pots are perfect for this) to get the right colour, otherwise it is a bit weak.

I got both Maleficent mineralize eyeshadows. This has very pretty blue/green over a black base with flecks of shimmer and glitter. But the glitter does not get every where and it looks more like the shimmery ocean. It's very very pretty. I think they work better wet and there's a lot of product in this so I can't imagine running out anytime soon!

Ok, I will be the only dissenter here.......but I find the green side of this WAY TOO GLITTERY. It is definitely a beautiful color, and the texture is unique, but for me just not wearable except for perhaps to a few holiday parties. Even when applied wet over a black base, the glitters were just too far apart and noticable, vs the blue side which blended beautifully together to form a unified deep blue shimmer sheen (and looks AWESOME over the McQueen Electro Sky paint pot). I will keep this duo mainly because the blue side is everything that I ever wanted Contrast, Deep Truth, and every other shimmery dark blue to be. But I fear that the green side will just sit there glaring it's jealous sparkly eye at me.

Ok, so the colors are very pretty I won't lie. However, the blue looks almost identical to "Blue Flame" from the Style Black collection which I already own. If you missed out on that, this is a good alternative. And I am sad that the green is only about 1/3 of this duo. I wish it was half and half because the green is the main reason why I chose this. Other than that, I have no complaints. If you are into sparkle and glitter then this is a must have!

I bought both mineralize eyeshadow duos from the Venomous Villains collection. I really love both of them. I normally don't wear dark eyeshadows, but these are just beautiful.
Color: The blue side applies to look like an sapphire jewel. A lot of people say that the green side is very pigmented. That isn't the case for me. I have to wet the brush and then apply the green side in order for the color to look somewhat opaque.
Application: I use my normal MAC paint base allover, and then I use a greasepaint stick on the lid to have a nice brown-black base to help the shadow stick and pop.
Wear: I really don't see any creasing until I get home from work, so by then it is not an issue. Also, the greasepaint stick prevents fallout.
I would repurchase again if I didn't anticipate this lasting so long.
