I got this as a free gift for purchasing California Mango mend hand and cuticle balm at Sally's. I actually ended up hating the balm but loving this mango extreme.

It smells divine and does not leave a greasy residue like the balm does. I also really like the squeeze bottle over the tub packaging of the mango mend.
Mango extreme is also a few dollars cheaper than Mango Mend so in the end, it's a complete win :)

I got this free at Sally's with purchase of Mango Mend (which is my HG cuticle treatment). Figured it'd be worth a try. It's very rich, thick consistency. Does a great job of moisturizing my hands & feet, does not leave them oily or greasy.. however the scent is quite strong. Not bad.. but not good. I love the fruity fresh scent of Mango Mend, however Mango Extreme seems to have a bit more of a chemical scent to it. I took off 1 lippie for that. but otherwise its a great lotion. Not sure if I'd purchase this at full price, but made a great freebie.

I really like this product. I use this as a pedicure foot cream. The smell is a little strong, not unpleasant, just stronger than I like (I'm pretty sensitive to smells). I probably would only rate this as 3 stars if I was going to use this as a hand cream, since I prefer unscented products. But as a foot cream, I'll give it 4 stars since I don't have to walk around smelling my feet all day.

I find this lotion to be a little unusual, which is what I like about it.... I can apply a pea-size amount to rub into each foot and it says nice and slick while I'm massaging my foot, but once I stop rubbing it absorbs in and doesn't leave my feet greasy. Usually you would find either the lotion leaving you greasy after, or drying up mid-massage and not being moisturizing enough. I have also noticed my feet becoming smoother/softer since using this (my feet were not horrible to begin with though). I don't know if I would buy this again.

Bought this a few days ago and I'm a little disappointed. First the positive...the smell is a nice fruity smell that isn't too strong. The bad...didn't moisturize my hands that well. When I applied it to my hands it seemed to be sinking in, but they never felt moisturized. The surface of my hands was soft, but they felt dry deep down! Also, when the creme is washed off my hands feel drier than they were before. No long term moisturizing benefits!
I LOVE Mango Mend and the cuticle remover, but I won't repurchase this.

This stuff is a miracle. I have super dry hands in the winter. I'm talking about sandpaper dry! And Mango Extreme makes them sooo soft. You only need a little bit and it absorbs really quickly into the skin. I'm the type of person who usually only rubs lotion on the back of my hands because I can't stand the greasy feel of lotion on the palms of my hands, well Mango Extreme is non-greasy and I can even apply it to my palms. I love this stuff. And it smells so tropical and delicious.

I have very dry skin normally, and my hands are worse, and during the winter even moreso. I tried the CA Mango lotion first, and it just wasn't moisturizing enough, so I picked this one up. It's definitely thicker and richer, and I can use it on it's own in between hand washings. If I leave it on overnight though it's not enough to keep my hands moisturized. I love the ingredients and the scent, but I've switched back to my HG Desert Essence Pumpkin Hand Repair Cream for nighttime moisturizing. I'm keeping this one in my purse though because it's ideal for daytime use.

Loves this hand creme! The lotion is the watered down version of this. The cream leaves my hands so soft and smooth. The ingredients are good also. And the smell is tropical and out of this world.

Thus far, everything I've used in the California Mango line has been great: Mango Mend balm, Mango Magic cuticle remover, and now this, the Mango Extreme creme. I bought Mango Extreme because my hands and cuticles were *so dry* and I needed a super moisturizing everyday creme to use since the Mango Mend is kind of a greasy pain to use in that capacity. This stuff is fantastically and instantly moisturizing -- makes my hands look and feel about a thousand times better. No tautness or rough cuticles at all after a few days consistent use. It absorbs pretty much instantly, which is awesome and also a fault for which I deducted a lippie. Because, while you only need a pea-sized dollup to sufficiently moisturize (much more can be greasy for a few minutes), it absorbs so quickly that you have to massage it in really fast. That is, however, a "problem" that I can live with. At about $6USD (Sally's) for a 4 oz tube, it's also an excellent value. Comes in a standard squeeze tube with flip top, so nothing to complain about there, except that my tube has a slightly deformed cap bit that needs to be slammed in order to seal. My bad for not checking closely before I purchased. I'll definitely buy this again; it works great on its own, as well as in concert with other products from the line. And they all have the same fruity, tropical smell. Love it!
