Bought this as i wanted flawless skin, wish i hadnt bothered. left my face with a burning sensation. Made my face blotchy, my face has NEVER been blotchy before, dried up parts of my face. Definitely would not recommend

Mega expensive! Didn't make my face or skin feel any different! Liked the bottle and sprit zing design... Clean and fresh application! Ultimately though... The product itself is not for me.

This product is very good! It smells fresh, a little strong maybe. I have combo-skin, and this leaves my oily parts free from shine but doesn't dry out the rest of my skin.

Not one of the more essential products in this Dermalogica range, I found other products to be more effective. It was good, all the same. Only didn't last too long.

This toner worked amazing! I got it in a kit with the face wash, exfoliator, spf lotion and night time serum. They all worked great. Especially this toner. After using it daily for 2 weeks...all my acne was gone and didn't return! The kit was 50$. Totally worth it though. Will be repurchasing.

I honestly didn't want to buy this thing... i thought it was a waste of many cuz i already had an avene toner. but then i decided that since i love clean start's Bedtime for Breakouts that i might as well try the entire line. so i went ahead and bought the face wash and the All Over Clear... and man, i am glad i did! i'm insanely shiny. i tend to have to blot my face by lunch time and again later on in the day. but ever since i've been using this (i'm not sure if it's because i use the whole kit or if it's because of this product) i haven't gotten shiny/oily once! i couldn't believe it! i haven't touched my blotting sheets for the passed few weeks and i'm soooooooooooo happy. best purchase i have ever made!

Alrighty..now for the toner. Well... Pros:
Keeps breakouts and shine at bay, no redness/irritation. Love the packaging - really easy to use and you know you aren't wasting anything.
S.O. D.R.Y.I.N.G on my skin!! I literally feel SO dry and tight like there's no oil on/in my skin if I don't use moisturizer immediately after I use this. I try to get away with not using this when I can because of how dry it makes me. It has .5% salicylic acid in it, so maybe that's what it is... But my esthetician knows what she's doing, I suppose. That's why I put yes, I will repurchase.
I do want to note, too, that the smell is HORRRIBLEEEE!!!! I literally can't breathe after I spray this in my bathroom because it tickles my throat and makes me cough!! It smells like something my mom used to use, and it was in a little green glass bottle. I think it was a cold sore treatment, but IDK.
The pros outweigh the cons for me. My previous toner (by La Therapie) left me red and shiny - the exact opposite of what toners are supposed to do. This one does what it's supposed to - takes away all shine, no redness or irritation, and, again, doesn't make me breakout. Those who are saying they got cystic acne probably got it from excess oil-production because of the drying effect. This did not occur on my skin, and I'm already dry. I would just say try a tester before buying the big thing, just to make sure you like it.
EDIT: My aestician told me to stop using this toner because of how drying it is. I'll try it once again in the summer, but I don't recommend using it in colder weather unless your skin is super oily.

As an esthetics student, one of the instructors suggested I try this product to help clear up some breakouts as a result of daily facials and just over-stimulated skin. I tried it a few times during school but just recently started using it as a staple in my regimen & I immediately noticed a difference but not a good one. The smell is too strong & it's making my skin more oily with large cystic acne on my chin & lower cheeks. I have acne prone. oily skin that reacts quickly to a product. My last toner worked rather well (Witch Hazel formula) & my skin felt refreshed but the results I'm seeing now are more in line with something comedogenic so I'm surprised. I'm tossing it tonight,

Everyones skin is different so I must say my experiance with this toner was terrible. I am assuming its bc I have sensitive skin and also maybe it was not the appropriate product for my skin type. I have combo skin and it tends to get really oily during the summer so I need a toner. I purchased this about 2 or years ago, I used dermologica products before when I was in beauty school and they are awesome however the "clean start" just didnt work for me. I had dry patches on my skin and it was itchy the next day I broke out all over my face I was horrified! The pimples did go away which is a good thing. I used it again a few month later and the same reaction happened so I just tossed it.

I actually have only tried one toner before this and it was a cheap drugstore one. After i used that up, i wasnt sure what the heck it was supposed to do.
Now this claims to keep away shine and keep the breakouts away. And it does do both of those things for me. I also find it refreshing, the scent and the way it feels when its drying is one of my favorite parts of my morning routine. I have combination skin and it doesnt make it dry and it keeps away the oil that i do have, so i love this.
The only thing i don't like is the price but one bottle goes a long ways so i guess it will pay for itself later on.

I used this product as part of the Clean Start kit. At first I liked the idea of a spritz toner, but I couldn't stand this scent. It is quite citrus-y and even though I sprayed it on my face with my eyes (and mouth) closed, I feel it gets into my nostrils too! So from then on, I had to spray it on while pinching my nose. If it gets into my nostrils, I feel like coughing and choking, it's that bad! I was hoping for this product to control my oil and keep blemishes at bay but really didn't feel like it did anything to my skin at all. It didn't break me out, but didn't help either. I won't buy this again.
