There's a lot of hype around this product but I found this to be only okay. My short Asian lashes are very picky. This claims to give volume but I felt like it just gave me fat, stubby lashes.

I've been experimenting with drug store brand mascaras, in hope of finding a decent product with a cheap price.
This stuff is much better than decent and outperforms most of the higher end brands that have triple the price.

- Black black color.
- No transfer to brow bone (usually an issue for me) or raccoon smudges under the eyes.
- Lasts all day and comes off easily with remover.
- Great brush, easiest time I've ever had with bottom lashes.
- Separates and curls lashes, and I LOVE that you can build it for a more dramatic look but the ends of the lashes still taper naturally- no clumps or "spidery" look!

This is my holy grail mascara! It has been the only mascara I've repurchased. I've tried nearly all drugstore mascaras and a few high end (too faced , Mac and benefit) none compares to this . I love how black it is and the volume it gives ! Nothing clumpy or spidery. Definitely RECOMMEND!!

I like this mascara because it does not clump at all. Which is great, the only slight downfall is it doesn't make eyelashes very voluminous or thick, but I do enjoy this mascara.

This mascara actually gives so much volume, and doesn't clump at all! However, the brush is not the best because its very easy to get product on my eyelids. The Clump Crusher brush is better. Also it is a bit hard to get this mascara off than Clump Crusher , which I can take off with a normal makeup remover. Overall, the effect from this mascara is better than that of Clump Crusher, but harder to apply and to get off than Clump Crusher.

Edit. 2015/01/16
After using this mascara for about two weeks, I have to say that the applicator of this mascara is really not the best because its easy to get products on your eye lids. Also it takes A LOT of efforts to take off this mascara. Changed my rating from 4 to 3.

This mascara flakes like crazy under my eyes, even after a rather inactive day. Not only will I not repurchase, it is going in the trash after 3 tries. Should've stopped after 1. It doesn't even matter whether it lengthens or volumizes when I look a raccoon.

I purchased this product because I was in a pinch and needed mascara. It was early in the morning and the mall was closed. I had to go to target. I picked Covergirl lashblast volume due to word of mouth from someone I saw whose eyes popped. She said she uses CG lashblast volume in the big orange tube.
WORST mascara-

What I did not like:
applicator itself- hate the little tiny bristles
did not do anything for my lashes after applying- took way too long to even tell I had any mascara on
No volume and hard to remove w/ make up remover and soap and water.
Never again
Packaging was great and imo that is the only good thing about it.

my rating: 7.5/10

pros:
- black/brown is a great natural brown, not too light, not too black
- wand is very easy to use, has a flat end so it doesn't poke you in the eye
- formula is not too wet, so it gives a natural look which is what i go for with this mascara
- separates lashes and defines them nicely
- inexpensive
- easy to remove

cons:
- not very volumising despite the name
- it's difficult to apply multiple coats without your lashes turning crunchy

repurchase? yes. this isn't a 'wow' mascara, it's very basic but that's precisely why i like it.

I have three things not going for me: sensitive dry eyes, thin eyelashes, and not many of them. I've tried a lot of mascaras hoping to find something that can deal with my eye and eyelash issues.

For a while now I've been using Urban Decay's Perversion because it's very dark which I love, and makes the few eyelashes I have fairly noticeable. The downside is that it leaves dark marks under my eyes after a few hours, it can get clumpy with more than one coat, it doesn't come off as easily as I'd hoped, and it's expensive.

I think Lash Blast Volume is better than UD's Perversion. The "Very Black" is really dark. It doesn't irritate my eyes, it's buildable, it almost never clumps, it doesn't flake or leave anything under my eyes after wearing it all day, and it comes off with just water. Even though it's mainly for volume, I get nice lash length out of it too. The bonus to this awesome find is that it's only about $7.00. I absolutely love this mascara.

We're all searching for that HG mascara, and this is mine.

Horrible! Brush is way too big and clumsy, it's impossible to get to the base of lashes. The short, stubby bristles produce short, stubby lashes. Adding coats doesn't build length or volume, just keeps coating lashes until they're thick, heavy-looking and losing their curl. Total fail.
