I tried this at Sephora. At first, it was absolutely revolting. Like musty medicine. Once it settled on my skin a bit, the scent became a little sweeter and tolerable. Then it faded away. There was no longevity in this scent, which was fine because I didn't like it anyway.

One of my favorites! I'm so disappointing it was limited edition, It smells wonderful on me. My go-to fall 'going out' scent! Love it!

I have this in a rollerball -- I doubt I'd buy the full size.
I love the fragrance. It's very woodsy and dark, spicy and peppery (the potency of which mellows after the alcohol evaporates). HOWEVER, it has very little staying power. I like a perfume that I can apply to a few hot spots (carotid/jugular, wrists, etc.) and be able to get a random whiff when the wind blows or when I turn my head throughout the day. This doesn't do that at all. After only an hour or so the smell is virtually nonexistent. It's a pity, because I really like the actual smell. :(
If the fragrance lasted longer, I would've rated it five stars.
*Note: Reminds me of the song "Black No. #1" by Type O Negative.

Picked this roller ball up from the sale aisle in my sephora for only 6 bucks. I really like it. at first I wasnt too interested in it but after I let it settle into my skin I had to have it...smells like something I would wear out with the boyfriend.

This perfume is spicy and peppery when you first smell it, and thus, some people may be put off. But it dries down to a very sweet floral on me. Foor both girls who like the oriental , andgirls who like a floral smell, it's perfect. However (there's always a However) it can be overpowering and a little cheap, much like KVD's Sinner (and to a much lesser extent, Saint.) Bear in mind when purchasing, because a little goes a long way.

Wow, I'm really surprised to see all these negative reviews! Just goes to show you that different individuals' unique chemistries have a HUGE impact on the way a scent performs. Personally, though I'm definitely not a fan of Kat Von D (like, not at all--that fact that this scent had her name on it really made me think long and hard about my purchase) I found that Adora is divine on me. I love orientals and gourmand scents, and the musky sweetness in Adora is right up my alley. It's a tad pricey so I opted for the rollerball instead, but overall I do think this one's worth a shot. You never know until you try!

Another free sample from Sephora. Much prefered the sample of Saint by Kat VonD. Definitely more "earthy" than the clean, sweet Saint perfume. While I don't find Adora repulsive, there's just nothing to it that I find so sensational that I want to keep on getting a whiff of it again and again throughout the day. So this one is a no sale for me.

I'm one of the few that actually like this fragrance. When I first smelled it, I didn't like it. Smelled herby and musky, but when I put it on my skin, it smelled so much better. My body chemistry lightens and sweetens this scent. The bottle it comes in is gorgeous, however, staying power is virtually non-existant. Since it fades so fast, I won't repurchase.

I like this....but let me defend myself!
Okay, this scent is off the beaten path. It's more citrussy than the other KVD scents, a little different. This is what makes me a fan of Kat Von D. I do not judge by the personal life, only by the fragrance.
I like the combinations of lychée, boysenberry, thyme, cassis, hyacinth, jasmine, mango, patchouli, sheer musk and amber wood. It starts out with a fresh tone, and fades out to a clean finish. I like it, relly do. It's a nice every day scent to mix things up a little. It's just different!
Maybe this has played differently on my skin than many others, but it's a nice change.

I got a sample of Kat von D's latest concotion. What can we expect from a classless lady like Kat von D??? Not much! I don't know why she has a perfume line. This smell leaves a bad after taste, it apparently has many fruit notes but it smells synthetic in my opnion. It reminds me of cough medicine and some other toxic fumes. I can kinda smell the mango skin but who wants to smell like a bloody mango peel?!?
It has a kinda leafy start, like Hilary Duff's perfume "wrapped with love" another disgusting scent.
So over all scent cheap, packaging cheap and Kat von D....cheap!

Oh gosh.... I dont know what to say about this perfume except for it smells like chinese medicated oil :( Smells like my grandmother >< oh yuck! no redeeming factors, and while I like a hint of musk in my perfume, this one kills me. I don't think I have ever smelled something I've hated as much as this one.

This is a very exotic smelling perfume. I didn't like it when I smelled it out of the bottle, though once on my skin, I really started to love it. It's romantic, slightly musky and overall just expensive smelling. It's definitely a scent suited for a little black dress or a very fancy dinner with champagne. It smells VERY slightly like a dark, feminine, and beautiful version of Axe men's cologne. Smell it on your own skin and decide for yourself!

after testing numerous fragrances, i decided on getting adora. i was actually quite surprised by how much i liked the scent. i tried both saint and sinner, but didnt like saint at all and sinner smelled a little too boring for me (i felt that it could be replaced with a cheaper alternative very easily) Adora is like a more unique version of sinner. It is on the spicy side, but i felt that after a while on my skin, the more vanilla-y scent came through more which i liked. definitely agree that this smell does not last long (maybe an hour) but i got the rollerball, so i just reapply when i feel like it. i also feel that this scent is more geared towards younger consumers (alike most of the rollerballs IMO)
i would probably wear this on a special occasion or a night out, but maybe not during the day. i think something fresher and lighter like CLEAN's Shower Fresh would be more suitable for the day time.

I wanted to try this out before I bought so I asked for a sample at Sephora this weekend. I first noticed when I tested it that it reminded me of winter and figured there was cedar in it and so did the lady working at Sephora. I didnt see Cedar listed however when I checked the site. Anyway I tried it out yesterday and didnt really like the scent on me and it didnt seem to last more then a couple hours :(. I had owned both her Saint and Sinner and neither of those lasted long either. It seems to me Saint is very similar to Philosophy's Unconditional Love btw. So back to topic....I will not be buying Adora

I bought this both in the spray and the rollerball. I will admit that it smells way different after you let it 'sink into the skin' than it does when first applied. I actually like the smell better after it's absorbed a bit. I am a lover of stronger scents, and while this is a touch 'peppery' for lack of a better word, I think it's still going to work for many. It's a winner for me as a daily scent. :)

While neither Saint nor Sinner were exactly my cup of tea, THIS ONE definitely is! I'm terrible at describing notes, so here's the product's official content:
Notes:
Lychée, Boysenberry, Thyme, Cassis, Hyacinth, Jasmine, Mango Flesh, Patchouli, Sheer Musk, Amber Wood.
Style:
Passionate. Soulful. Complex.
I agree 100% with the above descriptors. This fragrance is complex, think of it as KVD's true, inner soul, not the persona she portrays. It's musky, heady, spicy, and definitely exotic. The berry notes stand out, but the deep amber and cassis notes are underneath, making this a sexy-SEXY combo of earthy yet enigmatic. Just right when you want to seduce someone...The only bad? Not enough lasting power, common with KVD juices. Still, I'm sure it'd last a good hour or so ;) if you know what I mean ;)
