I used this as a treatment and layered an eye cream on top of it. However, it really did not do much for me even though I have finished the entire bottle. I like the pump packaging, and it did not cause any allergy, but I did not see any lifting and firming effects. I will not buy again

This is a eye treatment, not an eye moisturizer. If anyone has ever familiarized themselves with the various eye treatments and creams out there, know that there is no such thing as a All-in one eye cream that does it all. Needless to say, I bought this because I had really good results with the C8 Peptide serum for the face. My main concerns are dark circles and I have puffy eyes..a lot! Bane of my face, my puffy eyes. This instantly gets the puffiness down and I have noticed that my under eyes circles are brighter and less dark (I'm pretty constantly sleep deprived and sometimes don't eat very well, both which contribute to eye circles). The one thing that I noticed after 2 weeks of use, was that my undereye was firmer, my little fine lines were diminished. I cannot say for sure at this time if it was this serum or using the entire Kinerase line in general. My concealer goes on better and overall, the puffiness is pretty much gone within 20 minutes of applying this. Is is worth the money? Yes, mainly because I have tried just about everything for my puffy eyes. I do know that it takes up to 8 weeks to see maximum results but so far, so good.
I should note that there is nothing on the box or bottle that says this is moisturizing, It's a treatment for crows feet, puffy eyes and dark circles. I feel that the reviewer below me gave this a bad review EVEN though the SA Told her to put a eye cream over it. She did not have to buy it, knowing that ahead of time. I personally use this alone but put a dot of Kinerase cream on to and my eyes stay moisturized but not greasy. Many eye creams give me Milia, so I'm careful of anything really emollient under my eye area. I think this combined with the C8 Serum for the face has given me Awesome results, better than any other anti-aging product or serums I have used. I have very sensitive skin, especially around my eye area and have had no problems using this serum or anything from Kinerase.

This is a nice light gel that feels cooling and sinks right in. However, it is not moistuizing/hydrating at all. the sales associate at Sephora told me I have to put an eye cream over this because it is meant as a treatment, not an eye cream, so it does not have moisturizing properties. I think that's ridiculous - why would I pay $68 for a half ounce of this and then have to buy an eye cream also? there are plenty of good eye creams that are moisturizers and treatments wrapped into one -in fact, most are. So why would I buy this? I used it 7 days morning and night and noticed no difference. I know that's too soon to tell, but I have had other eye creams that DID make a difference in this time period, so I just don't think this compares. and it's too expensive for what it is. I do give it a 3 for being a nice texture light gel that does not cause milia. but it didn't do anything else.
