Okay, I know NYX can be a bit off with the names of their colours, but this shadow is PURPLE. Not even remotely navy. Although it even appears navy in the pan, and "looks" like a beautiful colour for a smokey, dramatic, navy eye...no, it's totally purple once applied.

I love to use this in my outer v and lid over Benefit Skinny jeans shadow. The color is lovely and it stays put for hours but the fallout is ridiculous.
I normally love the formula of NYC eyeshadows but I think this one may be too soft.
Would I rebuy, not sure, I mean it's only $5, but there has to be a dark navy shadow out there that doesn't have nearly as much fallout.

This was an effort to dupe MAC contrast eyeshadow. I didn't think I'd use a navy blue eyeshadow enought to justify MAC prices so I got this instead. The color is very nice and exactly what it's called (for once, NYX naming is usually so random), a dark navy blue. The texture is very soft. However, applying is so difficult. You pat it on, but if you try to blend at all, the color disappears to a very light navy and you get tons of fallout. If you do choose to get this color, do your eye makeup first or else the fallout will destroy your face makeup. The staying power of what does stay on once you've blended is pretty good, but it's just so weak! Ug!
