This didn't do anything to help my bluish under eye circles. If you don't have a really bad problem with dark circles this may work for you.

Unfortunately, I think this has been discontinued. It is surprising how much this brightens your face when used under the eyes. Really works well. Of course, I just recommended it to my sister, and she's addicted too, so it looks like I'm going to have to buy it all up online!

Age and insomnia are taking their toll on me -- I haven't really had bags under my eyes before this year, but I am definitely working on acquiring them. This stuff is great: very creamy, doesn't settle into lines, gives a lift to dark shadows and circles. For casual days, I just pat some on and cover it with a tinted moisturizer; for "wow, I haven't slept at all" days, I put a bit of regular concealer over it. This product is keeping my friends from realizing that I am turning into a zombie, and for that, I am grateful.

This product HELPS with but doesn't CONCEAL well the undereye circles. I have bluish circles under my eyes, and when I apply this they become somewhat less obvious but I still have to apply concealer on top of this which defeats teh purpose to me personally. Alone by itself it doesn't hide nor conceal them unfortunately. And I still like YSL pencil highliter much more.

This stuff rocks! I have tried so many concealers in the past for under eye circles, and nothing has done the job like this one little compact. Wakes up my eyes, deflects light to disguise the circles, and makes me looking refreshed. The price is pretty reasonable and the product is pretty awesome. I would definitely recommend.

HOLY MOLY, HOLY GRAIL! I have FINALLY found a brightener that actually works well for me. I've been unsuccessfully searching for the perfect one since I was 25 (I'm 31 now). Shocked that it turns out to be a reasonably priced product I can buy at the drugstore. I am so excited about this. It goes on smooth, doesn't cake or get in my small creases around the eyes and doesn't make me look like a discoball. My husband actually commented that I was glowing & then said, "you don't think your pregnant, are you?" LOL! Needless to say, the stuff does its job and very well. It's consistency is matte and creamy and a little goes a long way. I use it on my chin, above my cupid's bow, on the bridge of my nose and under my eyes and in the inner part of the eyes to wake them up. Now that I have this stuff, I don't know what I did without it. I can retire my YSL Touche Eclat now and my bank account will be very grateful. :)

[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ UPDATE ]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]] I am still totally loving this product! It really does deliver! I still find myself using my YSL Touche Eclat, but not NEAR as much and only in a few select areas, which is great, since that stuff is quite pricey. I find that using a concealer brush to apply this product works best and I still can't stress that a little goes a long way. I really love playing up my eyes and this brightens them up so well! You can't beat its price, not to mention how convenient it is to purchase this stuff, since most CVS Pharmacies are open 24-7 (in the U.S., at least). The packaging is great too, since no product can be lost. Love this stuff!! :)

Having not only purchased benefit eye bright, but worked at the counter, I feel confident in saying that this is not just a dupe for that product, but one that is better suited to meet the needs of the consumer. I loved the essential concept of eye bright--used in the inner corners of the eye, down into the darkest part of the under eye--it works exactly as the name suggests. It brightens your eyes. The pencil needs constant sharpening though, and can be rough on delicate eye skin (the most tender skin on our body!) sharpening also wastes product, a frustrating complaint when dealing with a chubby pencil as costly as eye bright, no?

This product by Carmindy comes in a pan that is easily blended with a brush, fingertips, or a beauty blender (my choice.) it's creamier than eye bright, and the color may be slightly darker--neither of which I consider to be negatives. I love being able to use all the product, no waste. I bought mine at CVS, where most of the Carmindy line is...though it seems to be getting fewer and farther between, so snatch this one if you can. It's by far the best product I've tried in her line.

I think this works great under eyes also. Agree that you need to be careful how much you use so it doesn't look light purple. Will give it a try on my cheeks as a highlighter!

I bought this as a cheekbone highlighter because I love how Carmindy highlights her cheekbones and wanted to give it a go. Everything else I've tried was sparkly and now that I'm past 30, I try not to look like a disco ball. This was perfect. I love it so much more than anything else and it makes me look wide awake. I still use a regular concealer under my eyes but then dab this over top and it looks miles better than the concealer alone. It looks like my skin is literally putting out its own light source-true glow. Buy it when it is BOGO 1/2 off at Walgreens or Rite and the price is so much better. I don't own any cosmetics from a drugstore except this brand and a couple lipglosses so I'm comparing this to the department store brands-I'd definitely spend $20 for this if they asked it of me.

Throughout most of my cosmetic-using life, I've been searching for a product to "get rid" of my under-eye circles (mine are of the blue-purple variety). Most of my trials of concealers have ended in the product A.) not doing anything--no coverage, B.) disappearing within a few hours of application, C.) creasing, and/or D.) separating and look splotcy. Products I have tried and failed me are: YSL Touche Eclat, Makeup for Ever HD Concealer, MAC Select Cover (the best of the lot), Benefit Eye Bright pencil, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind, the list goes on and on. This Sally Hansen/Carmindy brightener is the best "concealer" for under-eye circles I have found so far. It blends smoothly, last throughout most of the day, and, as opposed to covering my circles, it more or less deflects them--making them not as noticeable. It's not perfect as it does wear off toward the end of the day, but it is definitely the best I've used so far--the least it does is make one look refreshed. Will try CG Simply Ageless Corrector when I'm out of this as it was highly recommended by a friend--I'll be shocked if I prefer it, but I'm always lookin'... ***EDIT*** 8/20/2011: Tried some other products, and I still haven't found anything better. ***EDIT*** 5/27/2012: as this is getting harder (impossible) to find, I've had to switch over to MAC's Pro Longwear concealer--best thing I've used in life so far!

I read about this product on a blog, can't remember where, but the author said it was great for dark circles under the eyes. As this is my main problem, I was keen to try this product. I was a little put off by the fact that it was *purple*, as most under eye concealers are yellow or yellow based, but this is a brightener, not strictly a concealer. I bought it thinking I would end up taking it back. But instead - I loved it.

It really does brighten up the under eye area. I like it almost as much as touche eclat. I was so surprised at how well this worked, being a purple cream!

The only problem is that you can't use a lot of it, or it looks like you have light purple eye shadow smeared under your eyes. But if you use the right amount, it works really really well, in a very different way from other concealing and/or brightening products I've tried. If you battle with dark circles, this might be your HG product.
