I'm not really keen on this. I find it very heavy (as I do with most creams with SPF in general) and leaves me looking incredibly shiny. It just never seems to sink it and I can't stand the sticky feeling it leaves. I don't often reach for this and I will not buy it again once, or if I ever, use it up!

Does not contain a myriad of titanium dioxide which leaves dark skin with a blue iridescent/white ashy appearance (an undesirable look). It does feel a bit heavy and provide a oily-ish look but, so far it is the best and only SPF moisturiser that has worked for my dark skin. I would buy this again - darker skinned people need SPF - skin cancer does not discriminate and the sun ages/scars and burns everyone. Also wearing a SPF will help fade hyper-pigmentation marks - work in progress. I give it 4 stars, I've taken off one star because I don't think it works for my skin type (oily/combination). BUT, as I have said, this will not make a dark skinned person look like a blue/white iridescent fool, trust me. I've been there, lol.

My favorite thing about this moisturiser is that it does not irritate my skin AT ALL. After recently trying out other brand SPF creams I realised how much my skin likes this product. Unfortunately it is a heavy cream, does not spread well on my skin and leaves me looking shiny. However so far its the only SPF cream that leaves me skin feeling soothed and hydrated and happy. Thus I would rather be powder happy to deal with the shine than deal with an itchy face. I hope they bring out a light formula version!!
Edit: After using this for prolonged periods I realised it breaks me out really bad especially along my cheeks :( it was a great moisturiser for winter though

I bought this as a face cream, as it was kind for sensitive skin; Fragrance free/ Paraben free/ Hypoallergenic/ Dermotologically approved. Sounds good huh? Well I dont use this as a face cream the reason is because it has shea butter it which makes me itch, so instead I use it as a hand cream. It's truly excellent. Most handcreams dont contain SPF and if it does it costs more and for the amount you get i.e. 30ml I dont think its worth it. This cream is kind to skin without parabens and SPF without any harsh chemicals and skins in almost instantly and I'm left with soft hydrated hands :)

I liked this actually!!! I first got the Simply Pure Light Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin and it was terrible (see my review for that), it felt heavy and broke me out (big ugly whiteheads)- but this was a pleasant surprise!
I thought that after the awful experience with the other cream this would be breally bad...but its because:
1) It sinked into my skin nicely and it actually felt moisturising but not heavy, just nice. Didnt feel like it was too heavy. As its called a "cream" that what i was expecting.
2) Did not aggrevate my existing acne NOR BREAK ME OUT!
3) Its great that it has SPF in it too!
4) Nice price - 75ml is £2.49 but they regularly have £1 off this range making it even cheaper
5) Doesnt contain any parabens
Cons:
The bottle is a bit cheap and cheerful - it kind of has "cheap" written all over it, but then I am too fussed about this, if something is good then its good, I dont care about it looking cheap, end of.
Although it has SPF in it - its not too high, only 15 which may not be enough for some people.
Conclusion - If you want a cheap all round moisturiser then try this out - esp when its on offer for only £1.49 - but its not the best and so dont expect miracles. I will continue to buy this til I find something better at a good price, as this doesnt blow my mind away.

This moisturiser is part of Superdrug's own brand 'Simply Pure' range for sensitive skin, which is fragrance free, paraben free, and hypoallergenic. Having been 'wowed' by the wonderful cleanser in this line, I tried one of the 2 moisturisers from the same line. As with all Simply Pure products, it contains 'Soothex' a patented calming complex, allantoin and boswellia serrata, which are all soothing, healing ingredients. However, I got a little carried away in store and didn't scrutinise the ingredients list as I usually do. Unfortunately, this contains several acne-triggers such as isopropyl myristate, ceteareth 20, and silicones (which have always caused me some problems). So within 24hrs, I've had a few whiteheads crop up and that unnerving 'tingling' of imminent spots to come. It also has sweet almond oil and shea butter too, which some acne suffers like to avoid. The product itself is a white, odourless cream, although the consistency appears to show it is more suncream than moisturiser. It was pretty moisturising, though it takes a while for the sheen to die down. It didn't affect my rosacea or my seb. derm., which is a big plus and it was comfortable to use, if a little heavy (probably due to the sunscreen). For someone who doesn't suffer acne but struggles with sensitivity/redness, this may be worth a shot, especially at £2.49 for 75ml. For me though, it's potentially acne in a tube and I can't risk using it, since I've only just cleared up after the last product-driven breakout. Disappointing.
