Did nothing for my skin.
I have combo skin, large pores, clogged pores, etc, and I used all these products up, and my skin didn't break out or clear up.

I got this to try and help my skin, it was a very good starter. The products lasted a long time, since a little goes a long way.

I ended up going and buying the more expensive, larger version of the products.

I bought this kit a month ago when I was going through a very stressful time. I broke out everywhere in my face, so I did some research and bought it online. I was worried it wouldn't do it for me since this is meant to be used by teenagers. However I must say this is an overall good purchase, even though not all products were top notch.
What I liked best (and will probably repurchase) are the daily and night moisturizers. I was especially impressed by the daily cream because it wasn't greasy at all considering it has SPF15 (perfect for summer-my usual winter moisturizer, Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, is too much for the hot and humid weather and doesn't have any SPF). The toner didn't impress me, it was average, so was the cleanser. I liked the mask: it leaves a soft and exfoliated skin.
I think it's worth to give this a try. The price is fair, you get 5 products that will last at least on month (used daily, twice a day except for the mask that's meant to be uses 2-3 times a week). You might find some gems for your daily routine and overall it was effective, helping me clear up after a couple of weeks.

So far I'm really liking this product. I've been using now for 2 weeks and already I'm getting the results I never expected.

This product I think works great for normal, combo to oily skin. I say this because anyone with very dry or sensitive skin will possibly find it over drying and irritating after awhile but everyone is different so proceed with caution. I have combination skin with black and white heads concentrated in the T zone area I also experience mild adult acne occasionally. I will list the product and give a basic review for each.

Clean Start kit Includes:

Wash Off: a basic cleanser that smells citrusy is clear liquidy gel (shake for an even mix) will clear away dead skin cells and excess oil without leaving skin tight and dried out. A dime size is all you need and its true my face felt really clean after using.

All Over Clear: a citrusy smelling toner that feels nice and refreshing after youve cleansed your face. I guess this is used to balance out the dryness if you do experience that feeling. Claims to control shine and keep breakouts away.

Ready, Set Scrub: some people in reviews have claimed that they really do not like this exfoliating mask but I really like it. Its helped clear up some of the white heads Ive been getting and gets rid of the dead cells that have built up. I use this after I initially cleanse. Ive decided to use this 2-3 time a week for my exfoliation routine (washing alone will not completely remove buildup) smells great kind of minty and orangy at the same time.

Bedtime for Breakouts: is an overnight treatment that contains 2% salicylic acid in it. Helps treat and prevent break outs from occurring over night and keeps down over production of excess oil. I use a thin layer over my T zone, cheeks forehead and chin especially. I find if I use anywhere else it gets a little dry especially around my lips.

Welcome matte SPF 15: I was iffy with this one its good because it has a sunscreen with a moisturizer but I think anything under 25 is not enough in my opinion.. It keeps the oil down but I still get a little shine by the end of the day. No worries I'll just layer with my avon rejuvenate spf 25

As a complete kit it gets 4/5 from me. I think its over priced for what it is but it does the job nicely so I can't complain to much. The packaging is simple and clean and the smell is not over powering at all. (if you love citrus then its all good!) I will probably move on to the bigger bottles after my trial is over with this product. I might have to find an alternative though for moisturizer seeing that the SPF is lacking. This stuff is not just for teenagers I think anyone looking for a simple regime can benefit from this product. I am quite pleased.

This stuff is all amazing.
Within the first wash, my face felt extremely clean and looked amazing. This brightened up my complexion SO much. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this. The face wash smells gorgeous, like citrus fruits. The 'welcome matte spf 15' is amazing. My face is never oily through the day anymore. The packaging is super cute. Amazing product, I would recommend this to anyone.

There was so much hype about this kit that I decided to buy it. I never had severe acne, I had very mild acne but it was really bugging me. This whole kit jus didn't work for me. Perhaps for other, but not me and I was really disappointed. There were however, some products I did like individually like the exfoliator and how gentle it was and also the toner because it felt refreshing. But something in this kit, if not all of it as a whole made me breakoiut even more and it didn't help me out at all with my acne :( I don't recommend this because it didn't work for me, but anyone should definitely try it because it may work for you! I liked the scent of the products and the packaging, just not the products itself. See for yourself though because it seemed as though it worked for many.

I bought this trial set, because my skin wasn't that soft anymore and I needed something new and more active for my skin. I have combination skin, also very sensitive, so I was a little sceptic to try this because I don't have acne, but my skin texture really needed to improve and I wanted to get rid of some dry bumps along my jaw line and a few tiny pimples on my chin.

I used to just use Dermalogica ultracalming cleanser (which i absolutely LOVE) and Oilatum natural repair face cream, which I also love. But this wasn't enough, and I tried this out to see if it would make my skin better.

And it does! A lot. I have only been using this set for about a week, but I can see a difference in my skintone, it feels better, my red cheeks has toned down and I like the products a lot. Not loving the lemon-y smell, but it's not too bad.

I will use the bottles up, and probably buy this set again, because my skin needs to change up products quite often. So far I love it.

I still use my Oilatum cream over the night treatment gel, because my skin would totally dry out if I didn't.

I will update you if I break out from the products or anything else happens!

Really good for the price; came with the whole "routine" (wash, tone, exfoliate/mask, and moisturiser) for $50 (lasted me about a month).

Really good if you want to just sample the products before you fully "commit" to buying the full priced version.

I thought all the products were really good (and worked really well!), except for the exfoliate/mask which made me breakout along my cheeks :\ I ended up buying everything in this starter kit, full sized, except for the exfoliate/mask.

This kit helped my reaally oily skin, and helped to regulate it, and now its "normal" (which made me really happy! (: )

I recommend this to anyone who has combination/oily skin prone to acne, (got rid of ALL of mine, which really surprised me, since I never had any products make them go away that fast) who wants to "regulate" it. 5/5

A sephora SA told me to use this when i asked her if she knew of any good products for acne that weren't too drying. I was excited to try this and was IMMEDIATELY put off by the smell once I lathered the cleanser on my face. I HATED the smell so much. After two uses, cleanser, toner and the day or night moisturizer, i started getting dry spots on my cheeks and around my mouth. WOW, the SA told me that it was gentle and wouldn't dry out my skin, which turned out to be exact opposite! I'm returning it.

Had really bad acne popping at my chin, jaw n neck area due to stress and was looking desperately for products that would help. Bought the trial set to test and the results were fast and effective. Especially love the night treatment and spot treatment! Thumbs up for this range! And this is not just for teens... Think it works well for oily and acne prone adult skin too!

Recommended by a firend also, It works really good if you have bad acne, oily skin, combination. I wouldnt recommend if you have already dry skin. The salycic acid in the product will really leave the skin dry. But all the products smell super fresh & leave skin clear and feeling good. If you love lemoned water. then you will def love this product.

Cons:
The Scrub/Mask!

Conclusion:
I don't think that I would have ever looked at these products if I wasn't recommended by a friend of mine. This line was very effective for me, and I have very combination skin and occasional breakouts on my cheeks and above my eyebrows. It lasted me just over a month with twice daily use, and by the time I neared the end of the kit my skin had totally calmed down. No spots anywhere, and my skin was way more balanced.

In terms of the individual products in the kit:
1 - Cleansing Gel: citrusy and produces a fine lather (nothing too soapy)... it was wonderful
2 - Toning Mist: nothing special, used it regularly, pleasant + not sticky
3 - Day Lotion: also smells amazing, it has an spf 15, and although it says it produces a matte finish I didn't have that experience. It absorbed instantly and it was light enough for me to layer my other spf on top.
4 - Bedtime Gel: the night time treatment, which I also loved because it had treatment and although it was a gel it was moisturizing enough. I never had to layer anything on top of it and in the morning my skin looked great!
5- Scrub/Mask: this is a 2-in-1 and found the grains to harsh for my skin, but the clay base was nice and very cool on the skin and left you feeling refereshed.

Would definatly buy it again to use for travelling purposes, but as my regular routine I'm looking elsewhere. Highly recommending this one to not just the teens/tweens but also to adults who want effective treatment and a great price!
