I bought this e/s because I seem to be in love with anything in the Terracotta range, and while I love the sophisticated nude bronze colour and long-lasting quality, there are also some definite negatives:
-Quite dry - I seem to be rubbing it a lot to get it on my lids
-Hard to blend
-Seems a bit precarious in the tube and the stick of product actually popped out once so I had to push it back in.

From the Terracotta 2010 collection. An bronze taupe eyeshadow/liner in a twist pen packaging, like MAC Shadesticks. Colorwise, it's in the same family with Guerlain Kohl in Oriental Metal, Guerlain Terracotta 2009 loose eyeshadow in Holy Smoke and Chanel Fluid Eyeshadow in Sand. Application is super quick and easy. The finish is slightly metallic with a sheen rather than shimmer. No creasing and very long lasting, it also resisted water well. The product is pretty without being something special or unique. It will not give you a look you can't find elsewhere. However, its quality is apparent and it's one of those "ready-to-go" products which require no effort to apply and will give you a discrete daytime smoky result. I use it as an eyeshadow and particularly as a liner in my lower lashline, which give me a wonderful summer look. I am fair and this shows up well, but I am not sure how this will show up on darker complexions. Overall, I may not buy again, just because it is apparently a seasonal item, so next year Guerlain will come up with something new. But to be fair to the product's review, I say thatI wll, given its quality.
