I have this foundation in Sand 5, which is also the color I wear in the second to none cream to powder formula. I really dislike this formula. It separates like crazy in the tube, it's somewhat watery, it doesn't have great coverage, and the formula is just kind of oily and weird to me. Strangely, though, I don't see all the sparkles that everybody else sees. Still, I wouldn't buy this again and I'm hesitant to really wear it unless maybe I wear it at nighttime somewhere.

My Shade: Earth 4
Coverage: Couldn't Tell
Price: $17
Finish: TOO MUCH GLITTER! I Couldn't Even Decide The Coverage. VERY DRY & Ashy Looking.
Color: GLITTER
Season: Summer
Overall: Couldn't Even Decide How It Looked As A Foundation Because Of The Overwhelming Amount Of Glitter. A Waste Of $17. It Wasn't Radiant At All Unless Radiance Is Equivalent To Glitter.

This foundation gives good coverage but one huge problem it has sparkles in it. It's noticeable in direct sun light and if it wasn't for that it would have been my hg foundation. The color I got is clay 2 and I'm a nc45 by Mac on the iman website it said clay 3 but that was to dark for me had more red then yellow undertones.

This review is for IMAN Luxury Radiance LIQUID Makeup and Second to None Semi Loose Powder.

I really like the foundation. Pictures come out amazing. It gives a very luminous finish just as the name suggests. I use Iman Semi-loose powder over this foundation, which is light-weight, and doesn't take away from the foundation's finish. I'll post a picture in my gallery. I mix Clay 1 & Clay 2 foundation, which gives me the perfect shade, and I use Clay Medium semi-loose powder. For reference purposes, I am a MAC NC44.

Unless you are an NC45 or NC46, I wouldn't get Clay 2 alone. I think Clay 1 alone would work well for NC 43 girls.

Oil Factor:
Although, this foundation boasts that it is oil-free, I was pretty oily after about 3 hours. I will have to find an oil control agent to use under the foundation. I am thinking of trying Loreal, since MUA ladies seem to love it.

The Packaging:
I really like the packaging. It's really easy to get the perfect amount of foundation out of the tube. The powder has the 'twist to dispense' feature. You twist the funnel and it grinds and dispenses the powder. It doesn't have a lock feature, but it doesn't need one since the powder is pressed until you twist and grind it - so no powder gets out unless you twist it.

Other products worn in Iman pictures are...
Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Shadow in Bad to the Bronze and Bold Gold
Maybelline Superstay 24 Lip Color in Continuous Coral

After wearing this a few more times I'm not sure what happened but it turned into glitter foundation..I thought it was the tube I bought and went out and purchased 2 more and the sans thing...it's like I was putting gold glitter cream on my face....I definitely will be throwing this away and not repurchasing...

love love love this product!! It's not heavy it gives me that just right coverage. It gives me a golden goddess glow my friends say.... My color is Earth 2, then I apply the second to none cover cream and finish with the semi loose powder. I choose this over my Mac and lancome foundations, this is defiantly my new and only foundation from now on...

I was very skeptical of purchasing this product but after using it i can say i really love it! I wanted something light that was good for my dry skin and i didn't want to spend alot for a MAC foundation so i went for this. This product feels so light on your skin and it gives you a glow. I got so many compliments and everyone said i looked so pretty. I am a nw45 in mac and i picked up earth 3 it is the perfect match. I plan on mixing this with my revlon colorstay to give me a radiant look with that foundation. I would definitely purchase again.

Through a process of trial and error I finally settled on Earth4 in this and I'm pretty happy with the look. Earth3 in the cream to powder is my perfect match, but the golden shimmer of the luxury radiance line was too yellow, so I had to go darker. (Didn't find a good match in the luxury radiance powder.)

Application of this is tough - the color kinda changes as I put it on. I haven't worn it often enough to speak to its skin effects. Up close, I felt that fine lines, tiny bumps, and dry patches showed up a bit without proper moisture/primer underneath. And I have to shake the tube to make sure the stuff stays well mixed. At first I hated it, but as I kept blending and it dried, it began to better match my skin tone. The gold still makes me a bit nervous; when applied unevenly it can get too sparkly.

But once my whole face was done, it looked - well - radiant and even - not too heavy either. It lasted very well: didn't change color or get oily/dry and the transfer was less than the rest of Iman products. I did experience a little bit of creasing hours later as it settled into the 'parenthesis' around my mouth and the lines under my eyes - not major, but required a little finger smudging to correct. Still, I'm not 100% converted, I feel like I'm wearing bronzer all over instead of as a highlight. I think it'd be a definite for an outdoor night date - gives that candlelit kind of glow.

I'd say it's def worth a try if you're into mineral makeup. The price is decent as long as you can play around with testers to find your match.

I overlooked this for years as a huge fan of her stick foundation, but the stick formula seems to have changed a little (it is less creamy and more difficult to apply) and the colors have mutated a little as well, so without testers, I haven't had the chance to match myself properly yet to get a new one. Plus, I generally am an all natural mineral foundation addict...I even make and mix/blend my own on occassion and only use commercial stuff as needed.

But, this was on eBay for $7 with free shipping, so I snagged it, albeit in one shade lighter than I wear in the stick (I usually wear Clay 1 one but think I might really be a Clay 2 or 3 as it isn't any darker but is a little warmer and more yellow/golden from what I can tell from the online color swatches and videos...and I use Sand 4 stick to highlight), but this tube is actually Sand 5 and it matches me almost perfectly...and looks natural and AMAZING!

The coverage is INSANE and it feels so light and good on my skin. It dries fast and I don't see any major transfer issues yet. It also does not look flat and unnatural at all...and imparts a natural radiant glow. As aforementioned, I'm usually a mineral foundation girl...the real stuff, not that crappy national brand, and usually only use stick or cream foundation for stage and special occasions with mineral foundation to set, add extra coverage and dimension to my skin and do some contouring. But, I might be able to rock this alone most days as it applies quickly and a little goes a long way and everything is covered while still looking natural. I don't even think it is too light (need to see it in natural outdoor sunlight), so users might be advised to go a shade lighter than you normally would with other Iman foundation formulas as I imagine a Clay 1/2 may be too dark or muddy on me in this formula (I still plan to try them...this is just an educated guess).

Summary: Iman converted me to yet another product. This is a great foundation. Period. Unless it breaks me... I'll update if it does.

People really sleep on her products...if you get the right color and formula for you, they are some of the best out there.

***UPDATE*** 5/18/12
I REMOVED ONE LIPPIE BECAUSE THIS STUFF DOES NOT HOLD UP WHEN I SWEAT...IT RUNS OFF...:( IF THIS WAS WATER PROOF, IT WOULD BE MY HOLY GRAIL LIQUID/MOUSSE FOUNDATION...BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND A SOLUTION, SO THIS IS NOW ONLY USED WHEN IT IS COLD AND I'LL HAVE VERY LITTLE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY...:(

I wanted to love this foundation, because it looks so good on other girls. I must have just gotten a bad bottle or something, I don't know what's going on. But as I'm looking at the little window (doesn't accurately show you what the color is, btw), I can see that the foundation has separated. There's a good amount of oil/clear fluid with gobs of foundation floating around in it. When I open it up and squeeze the tube, I get oil spilling out first, and then separated foundation. It didn't start out that way, but it didn't take long before I'd have to have a tissue ready to wipe the oil off on, and then start applying the actual foundation. So that's one iffy.

Second iffy. Shimmer. It's very noticeable in sunlight, your face literally sparkles in the light. It looks great in indirect and artificial light though, it's really lovely and radiant. The first time I caught my face outside in the sun, I was horrified, because at 30, a sparkly face just isn't right.

The colors are great for ethnic skin, but if the store you're buying them from don't have testers, bad luck. It's impossible to accurately match yourself using the semi-translucent window on the bottle. The color looks lighter and less warm than it really is. I had to exchange mine 3 times before I got the right shade.

I like the medium coverage, evens out the skin gorgeously. It's buildable, but not overly so, as it can look cakey with too much product. It's one of those foundations that looks better the less of it you use. Meant to kind of enhance what you have, not necessarily cover it up. If used right, it makes your skin look creamy and radiant. It does make dry patches and flakies look worse though, and creases.

Overall, I won't be buying this again.

I have Iman Luxury radiance in Earth 1, and its an exact color match to MAC nc50 for me. The packaging is neat and sanitary. The color is so seamless. It does not feel heavy. I used mac prep and prime spf 50 with it so it perform great( my first trial was club nite). I did not look oimy.. I am more of a combination skin person then oily all over. Oh my local walgreens had testers. Thats how I found my match. This is,a great product.
********* UPDATE***********
OMG OMG can i say i love this better than MAC studio fluid.
i have a really oily tzone, and I must say it last for hours.
At most times i have this foundation on for at least 10 hours everyday, and my job is high stress, so my t zone works in overtime. This foundation stays fresh fresh on my face for at least 8 hours. Now I pair this with MACs prep and prime spf 50.
this foundation makes your face look radiant not oily, it has some minerals that look golden but it just illuminates the skin. I am a true earth 1. If you are a mac NC 50 this would be a great alternative for you.

The product wasn't bad but I felt like it didn't match my color exactly. It kind of looked a bit dull on my skin. I wear NC 45 and I got it in clay 2. That was the correct color for my skin tone but I didn't seem to brighten my lackluster skin at all. Plus I was really a big fan of the coverage. I find her second to none foundation 1,000 times better. It makes you look flawless!!!!!

Ok...so I think I've found my perfect foundation. The shade Earth 3 is my perfect match! This is really not a liquid, but more of a cream, squeezed out of a tube. The coverage is excellent. Applying this foundation with Sonia Kashuk's flat topped foundation brush, makes this stuff glide on so effortlessly. I love it so much! Quality, price and convenience of local retailers selling the product is awesome. A must try for any of the die hard fans of MAC NW45. I had to take a lippie off due to the fact that it makes my skin a bit oilier in the summer. I ended up switching back to the 2nd to None Stick foundation in earth #4 for cooler weather.

I REALLY like this foundation. I have been using it for a while, because I wanted to give it a good test before reviewing. It wears really well and I would say the coverage is sheer to medium. It can be built up for medium, but isn't full coverage at all. It would look cakey at full coverage. A little goes a long way with this. It comes out of the tube as a mousse, so it is easy to squeeze too much out. All you need is a pea sized amount. I think this is best suited for normal to slightly dry skin, oily ladies may have a problem with this. My color is Clay 2 and I am NC 44/45 in MAC. The Iman website recommends Clay 3 for me, but that has a reddish undertone and I am more yellow....HTH

Have you ever used a product, stopped using it, returned to the product and wondered why you stopped? Well that's what happened to me with this foundation. I purchased it the day it became available over a year ago. I thought it was pretty but turned my attention to the powdered version of this makeup since it was summertime. Liquid and creme foundation does not work on me when it is hot. Today, I used it again and it looks so pretty. The finish is not glittery just glowy enough for your skin to look amazing. I agree with the previous post: exfoliate your skin before using this makeup. Youn will LOVE it!

Update: This foundation caused a major breakout under my jawline. I threw it away and I will never re-purchase again. It is very pretty but not good for my skin.

I've purchased this product before, which was around the winter time. It covers very nicely and feels as if I have nothing on. I gave it to my sister thinking the L'oreal true match would be kinder to my skin. I was severely mistaken!!! It irritated my skin so badly. I walked around most of the day with and irritated, itchy face. I went to Ulta to find my Iman Luxury Radiance Liquid Foundation. I'm so glad I did. Once again, I could not tell I had anything on. Plus my face was even and did NOT look cakey or irritated. Normally mineral makeup irritates my face, but this did not. Instead it seemed to soothe my dry spots as well as the rash. I'm so glad I purchased this makeup. My sister will not be getting this tube.

My MAC Studio Stick had run out and I thought of purchasing Iman's stick foundation. Luckily for me a salesgirl at Walgreen's told me to think about the Luxury Radiance Liquid instead for better coverage than my MAC product. I am so glad I listened to her because this product is so much better. The color is perfect (a NC50 in MAC and a Earth 1in Iman) and the coverage is amazing. It feels so light on my skin for the amount of coverage it provides (my issues: acne scars and some discoloration).Glad i tried this instead of going to MAC again.

As a fan of Iman's Stick Foundation, I figured I'd give the Luxury Radiance Liquid Makeup a try. At first, I didn't like it for the summer because of the slight shimmers I noticed in it. It almost seemed like bronzer or Nars Taj Mahal was mixed into the foundation. Thought it was too much for the summer as my skin was extra oily. I didn't want anything on my face to even rhyme with the word shimmer. I recently circled back to this foundation and I'm glad I did. I really like it. I'm loving the slight bronzy glow it gave me. The coverage is AWESOME. Usually, I'd have to go back a second time to cover my dark spots but once times a charm with this foundation. It comes out of the tupe like a mousse as opposed to a liquid. And Like the name says, it does add a radiance type of "alive" look to my face......made me feel like a goddess. For reference, I wear an NW45 in MAC (which is slightly too red). I'm an Earth 3 in the Luxury Radiance Foundation. Great two in one foundation when you want a glow-bronze effect to your face. I call this "out the door makeup in 5minutes".......It also photographs wonderfully. I recommend using this foundation when your skin is exfoliated well. I gave it four lippies because if your skin is in bad shape, it showcases/highlights small bumps. A little goes along way when applying to those areas. I've also noticed if I put to much, i notice a "gold" type of shimmer so practice and play around with this foundation

I was in Ulta the other day, looking around, as if I knew I would find my next best foundation. Really, I've been through their isles before and really haven't found anything too compelling.

Well I took a closer look at things this time around and walked passed the IMAN section. Her colors are always so natural looking, but in the past I haven't had the best of luck with some of her foundation. Usually because it wears weird (streaks, separates, etc.). But her shades always have done well on me whether I'm in the Sand 2 or 3 or if I'm in the Clay 3. Well I noticed she had a new type of foundation which came in a tube and was enriched with minerals... hmm... I thought to myself.

Well I pulled out Clay 3, apparently I keep getting darker as I used to be her Sand 2 or 3. I applied this foundation. At first it seems thick and to be the wrongest of colors.... but the colors morph into your skin tone. Its weird! Its like a colormatch technology. I watches it as it went from an olive coloring to something more golden on my skin in seconds. The best part is that this foundation looks so natural AND it covered most of my imperfections so it gave me a really even look. You couldn't tell I had makeup on, nor did the lady working there knew I had the makeup on.

I'm giving this a 4 for now. Because I don't know how well it wears, it goes on way better than her other foundations (stick and creme)... but it may come off as easily (but this one seems budge proof out of her line). So I have to test it in the hot weather... maybe tomorrow.

The other reservation on this product is that I don't know how well it will treat my skin. It is infused with ingredients that sound good i.e. Vitamin E, Acai, Magnolia, and Cottonseed. However, nothing beats the foundation of Julie Hewett in providing sunscreen, wearability, and healing properties.

So for those who wear Shiseido's Deep Ochre or Very Deep Ochre IMAN's Clay 3 is a very compatible color. I wear Julie Hewett's Zazu right now and Anouk in the winter. Lancome's Dual Finish in Sable IV or is it III?

The price on this product is unbeatable. $15 and it seems to last for a long time as a little goes a long way with this. This item is comparable to department store brands on the order of $45. So I think this is a steal. I don't plan to wear it often as it's a full coverage, so I only plan to wear it for concerts or eventually a hot date... eventually.
