Youthful, fresh but quietly feminine and elegant :D
LOVE this scent but i hate how it's limited edition

Top Notes: lime, sour cherry, ginger
Heart Notes: honeysuckle, jasmine, orange blossom
Base Notes: Cedar, amber, musk

the fragrance opens with a really tangy fruity scent of lime (and a bit of sour cherry). i can smell a bit of spice which is probably the ginger. thumbs up for top notes
then it transitions to a floral and warm but light heart mostly of jasmine and honeysuckle. A bit of tangy-ness is in the heart which is the orange blossom.
thumbs up for heart notes
The base notes are not very heavy. Just a few woody smells :P
overall a very light scent perfect for day-time use.
thumbs up for entire fragrance.
I would recommend this to young girls as it's very quite fruity and youthful.

Booo I hate it when perfumes I like are LE...but unfortunately that seems to happen to me most of the time lol. I won't go into depth describing the fragrance notes of Be Givenchy firstly because I'm not really great at it and secondly because the reviewer before me did a flawless job. On me, Be Givenchy is a pleasant, light, non-offensive fruity-floral that stays quite close to the body, so its appropriate for office settings. Its not terribly unique and when I first smelt I got the feeling that I'd smelt it or something similar to it before, but I think it smells nice and that's all what matters to me. The only reason I'm giving it 4 lippies is because its staying power could definitely be better but since its an eau de toilette I'm not too surprised. The packaging is alright - it's a sort of stocky glass cube. I wish it wasn't so bulky though because you kind of have to stretch your fingers to hold it and I'm worried one time I'll drop it. I'm more inclined to wear this in the spring/summer just because it is so light and I personally prefer wearing oriental vanillas/gourmandy fragrances (eg Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy, Escada Magnetism, etc) in the fall/winter :) I would repurchase, but I don't think I'll be able to just because its LE.

Limited edition for Summer 2010. This one opens with a burst of lime. I can also smell the orange blossom and some floral mixed in with the cedar and musk. Amber tends to be in most fragrances as a base note but in this one it sorta gets lost in the cedar, musk and even in the hint of ginger. Once the lime fades you are still left with a pleasant "mature slightly fruity scent" with the ginger coming through more. The cedar and musk is what makes it crisp, mature and modern. Initially, it reminded me a bit of Britney Spear's Believe but the only similarity is that it also has a "slight" mature punch to it however that one comes from patchouli and amber. These are the notes which result in someone saying it may have a bit of a "masculine" twist to it, but they are also the notes which add complexity and depth to it rather than being your generic fruity splash. YSL "Elle" also has this smell of cedar which makes it interesting.
Although I like both fragrances (Believe and Be Givenchy), I think this one would be more widely accepted than Believe as the uplifting citrus mends well with the punchy cedar (it almost hides the cedar a bit) compered to the more middle toned guava notes mixed with patchouli in Believe.

Top Note: Lime, Ginger, Sour Cherry
Middle Note: Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Orange Blossom
Base Note: Cedar With Musk, Amber.
