I won't further comment further on the notes, etc. but would like to add it's important to try Lys Carmin sprayed rather than dabbed. I found it very shy dabbed from the sample vial, but stunning sprayed. Very beautiful, as is the rest of this collection!

Nice lily, darker, more sultry & colorful than others. A bit sweet, not that spicy.. gets too sweet thick & Lily.. just not me.

This is one of the six Exclusives launched by Van Cleef & Arpels in 2009.
Lys Carmin captures the essense of the beautiful deep pink Stargazer Lily, an oriental lily. This has the happy and unrestrained, sweet-spicey aroma that is unique to that lily. It is a joyful experience to catch the drifts of this scent, for there is a brightness, an unrestrained playfulness, an excitement to this scent that is instantly mood elevating. The Stargazer Lily turns it's beautiful spotted, waxy pink face to the sun, always looking skyward, unlike other lilys. This happy spirit has been translated beautifully in Lys Carmin.
This rectangular utilitarian bottle of scent has a hefty pricetag of $185 and is available only at Neiman Marcus and Luckyscent. Is it worth it? Oh yes!
As always in this collection, the scent if perfectly natural, as if you are wearing a corsage of this flower, rather than something cooked up in a chemists lab. Sillage and lasting power is average. Of all six impressive scents from the Exclusives, this one and the incredible Muguet Blanc steal the show.
