Absolutely worthless mascara! This is in no way volumising or lengthening. What this mascara did do was make my lashes even straighter than before I applied it. I have a slight curl to my lashes but they are very thin so I was attracted to the big brush and promises of volume. This formula made my lashes look awful and without any curl, lift or volume. I used it for a week and then threw it in the bin.

This is one of the worst mascaras I've ever brought! The brush is sooooo big, it's unusable - you accidentally get blobs of mascara all over your carefully applied eye-shadow. Additionally, it does not do what it says 'on the tin' & doesn't make your lashed thick. Finally, and this is the worst part, I applied it & checked my make up an hr later at work, only to discover major panda eyes (nobody had told me!!)!!!!! I've tried to use the brush in other mascaras as I thought it may just be the formulation & the brush is workable on the top lashes but it's so big, I can't get it in another of my other mascara tubes!!!

Don't waste your money, girls, this is USELESS!!!!!

Update on this mascara - I left it a while & it must have dried a little as the effect is now completely different! I actually like it & am using it in a daily basis. I use1coat, or maybe 2 if it's night-time, and get fabulous volume & length. I then just top it off with another waterproof mascara with a good separating brush to 'seal' it & it lasts really well. I also seem to have got the hang of using the big brush & rarely get blobs all over my face. It's strange how mascara's change over time - with this one, it's a blessing!

this mascara is so flaky and it smudges on me (plus i don't even have oily eyelids) the wand/brush is too big for my eyes, the product itself is very dry and won't last very long before it completely dries out. AND it's so hard to remove (and yet it still smudges on me) What a waste of money

Pretty good mascara for those looking for lots of volume and not too much length. On me, it gave a similar effect as Diorshow for a fraction of the price, and went on smoothly and clump-free. A pleasant surprise, except it was a bit smudgy by the end of the day so if I buy again I'll pick up the waterproof version. Unlike other reviewers, I've had no problems with it drying out quickly or becoming clumpy - been using the tube I've got since January and I've still got enough use in it to feel bad about chucking it after the designated three months was up.

This mascara is so awful! I've purchased 2 tubes as I thought the first one was faulty...turns out it wasn't, it's just a crap mascara. The formula is extremely dry, gives NO length and NO volume, clumps, flakes...there are no good points about this mascara to me. My lashes look better with no mascara on than this. The wand is very big and is a little difficult to use without getting mascara around my eyes. I won't be repurchasing.

What a big piece of fake mascara! Did not work for me at all. Gave my lashes little volume and very little length. Plus it would smudge on me by the end of day! Also, irritated my eyes after a few days of using it. It reminds me of Benefit Badgal mascara in terms of the wand (it is pretty big) and consistency. The one I got was really dry and have to put on loads of coats to get the volume I want. Not sure if that's how they are as some reviews below say otherwise. But will definitely NOT be repurchasing or using this again.

I love this mascara!! I was a little put off when I first looked at the size of the brush, but soon realised how amazing it was after using it. The mascara itself is just right, not too thin and not too thick. I still use the brush now when using other mascaras to take off any excess and fan my lashes out more evenly. Would recommend this to anyone who likes big lashes but doesn't want to look too "fake".

The mascara itself is alright, but the formula is pretty horrible.
It is so dry I only used it maybe 3x before it became totally dried up and unusable.
Not sure if I just got a bad one but I'm definitely not going to try it again.
It will not give you fake lashes, the name is quite deceiving. It adds a bit of volume & length, I didn't have any problem with it clumping. No flakes or smudging. Fairly decent for the price, other than the super dry formula.
Check out my photo above, wearing 2 coats of big fake mascara.

The mascara is 'ok' value for its price, it does the job. However, it does not at all give you a 'false lashes' look, which was a huge dissapointment. I have used non branded, cheaper products that give a 'false lash' look than this product. Definitely wont be buying this product.
- I have also tested the Collection 2000 'Pump Up The Volume' mascara which is actually very good and I would recomend that to anybody. I think I am going to be buying that prouduct instead of this one next time.

Like this a lot, I find the 2 most important things about a mascara are lots of volume and a very intense black, this delivers both bigtime , and all for a fiver , a lot better than some HE mascara's I have boughT.
My sister really noticed the difference the first time I used it. I have bought 2 more as I would not like to be without it.

What a complete disappointment.

I had my eye on this mascara for a long time and finally bought it last week thinking that I would finally give it a shot and my goodness, did I waste my money.

On the tube, this claims to lengthen and volumize, giving your lashes a waterproof false lash effect. I found none of this to be the case.
The wand, not unlike Urban Decay's Big Fatty is too big to actually work with and the product combined with that factor makes my eyelashes look clumpy, cheap and even the cheap highstreet price tag of £4.99 seems cheap for this ghastly product.

My go to mascara, i prefer volume over length and i love the ammount of volume it gives! Personally don't think it clumps BUT i have found it is starting to dry out which i have heard happens a lot with this :/ but for £5 i cannot complain! love it!

The wand is good but the mascara itself just goes all clumpy on my lashes even with one coat. Did make my lashes a little longer though

I like the brush, Its really big but separates the lashes great. The mascara itself is not the best, It does not add volume or lenght, nothing special at all

The brush is big, not as big as the CoverGirl Lash Blast or Maybelline Colossal. More like the Rimmel Max Volume Flash. The consistency is quite dry and thick which in my opinion holds a curl much more better than a wetter formula. I was quite impressed with both the volume and length it gave me. My lashes are quite short so this made them stand out rather well with two coats. Layering isn't a big problem, however it does clump a little. I wore it for the day and didn't notice any flakes or smudging, however my lashes did feel alot harder than they usually do with mascara.

For the price this is a good mascara. It has a big brush which I love. It makes my eyelashes look really full, and that is great because I have really short eylashes to begin with. The only problem I have with this mascara is that it dries out really fast, usually after a few weeks. You can keep mascara for about couple months, but mine didnt last even that. Which is sad because it is a good mascara!

I had heard a lot of great things about this mascara so I picked it up, but it doesn't work for me as well as I'd hope. I find the brush is waaay to large for me. I have quite small eyes and very short lashes. So what I do is I use the Big Fake lash on the roots of my lashes to give them a bit of volume and then go over it with my Sexy Curves to get some length. I wouldn't repurchase this since I do have to use 2 products to make the mascara work for me.

Well I saw this on offer for £3.99 and who could resist? Not me!

The brush is fab, really big with loads of bristles.. I love Benefit Bad Gal and MeMeMe Fat Cat so this was right down my street!

After wearing it for an hour or so I had big smudges across my lower eye and the 'false lash' effect had definitely worn off.. My lashes were horrible looking tbh, droopy and the mascara looked too heavy? (not in a good way)

Also another bad point is that it's (so called) waterproof which i didn't realise when purchasing.. it only mentioned this in the small print on the back.. and I wouldn't have bought if I have had noticed before.
It's hard to fully remove at night and I end up with big panda eyes in the morning.. But somehow its smudges quite alot during the day?

I definitely wouldn't recommend this for a wedding! lol

I had heard a lot about this mascara but didn't take much interest at first. Collection 2000 is known for being a cheap makeup brand (in the UK) and it carried a stigma with it. When i was growing up, the brand was cheap- looked cheap and was useless. I don't know what happened but the brand reinvented itself and got good!!
The mascara is really nice. It makes my lashes long and the colour is very black- it doesn't do much for volume in my opinion though. The brush is really big so if you have a problem using big brushes, this mascara isn't for you. I have smallish almond shaped eyes but i find the brush ok to use.
The best thing about it is the price- £5! I have paid 4x/5x as much for HE mascaras that have been crap (yes ysl im talking to you!).
For how affordable it is, give it a try, i thought i wouldn't like it but i was so surprised!

I was highly disappointed with this mascara. The brush is ridiculously big...I do not have small eyes, but the brush was just too big for me. It'd catch the skin around my eyes no matter how careful I was. The mascara itself was medicore - minimal length and no volume. I did like the rich black colour though.

EDIT: I now like this for an *everyday* *natural* mascara. It doesn't look like I'm wearing mascara but defines them and adds colour. It also works well for layering ontop of another mascara.
