Physicians Formula have such beautiful packaging that really sucks you in. Unfortunately that's where the pro's for this product stop.
This product is basically just glitter. There's no pearlescent sheen, unless you rub you finger really hard in the formula, but when you transfer it onto a section of clean skin, all that remains is chalky glitter. The colour payoff if terrible.
The brush it comes with is useless, the bristles fall out. To be honest i'd rather noting all all if i'm going to get such a poorly manufactured brush.
What's worse is that this product retails for $30 here in Australia - robbery!

I love love love this product. I decided to try it because I wanted to highlight my features and bring them out and also because physicians formula is one of my favorite drug store brands. Right when I applied the highlighter it instantly brought out my features and made my skin glow. I didn't look oily at all! It's the perfect amount of highlight, it feels so light on my skin and gives the performance of a MAC product. it's a bit pricey for a drugstore brand, but nonetheless worth it and lasts for such a long time! It makes my skin look beautiful. Especially in pictures !

Decided to do some reviews on my go-to products today, and this is one for sure! I have severe melasma, which takes full coverage makeup to correct (cant seem to cover completely without gross cakes face) so highlighting is a step I can't skip. I threw away the brush that came with this, I just use one of my Ecotools brushes instead. It gives a nice, not too glittery glow, and lasts all day. These compacts are a bit pricey for a drugstore brand, but they product really lasts a long time, so it is a great value. I already keep a backup of this handy, and will repurchase over and over!

I bought this a week ago because I heard good things about this :) It is my first highlighter.
-Looks natural MOST of the time
-Great job for highlighting
-Good packaging (comes with miror and brush)
-It can be too shimmery on certain lights...

This is the best highlighter I've found for fair skin. I look so radiant without the added pinks or orange tones. So happy for this product!

It took me so long to buy this because (for a drugstore) it's pretty darn expensive! $13ish for a highlighter is kind of crazy for me. But I wanted it forever so I got it. It's a nice, shimmery highlight. I'm very pale and it gives me that highlighted glow. The top layer is actually pretty sparkly, but the sparkles are only on that first layer. It's kind of annoying but once you get down under that the product is only shimmery. It gives off a nice translucent/pinky/glowy highlight. Powder highlighters are hard to find in the drugstore so this works for me!

I have pale NC5-10ish skin, so this acts as a nice, subtle every day highlighter. NARS Albatross is sublime, but I can't go around pretending I'm a glowing extraterrestrial/supernatural creature on a regular basis or really very often at all, as much as I'd like to.
Physician's Formula is a pricey brand, but their ingredients are good, and this highlighter should last about an eternity. You pay a lot but you get a lot, and if you want a subtle highlight you might end up using this every day.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Olive Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
I picked this highlighter up on a whim- I'm glad I did. It highlights my olive toned skin perfectly- without looking like I am wearing glitter. I was afraid it would come off too pinky- but it is a really sheer, pearly white.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Very Dry, Fair, Warm Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
When I look at this in the packaging, it looks like it's going to be a big glitterbomb. Never fear, it's really finely milled and goes on gorgeously. I am very pleased to find a highlighter at the drugstore that is a quality as this one. I am fair and so Translucent is the right color for me. I apply this after my blush and bronzer to the tops of my cheekbones. The compact is cheap and ugly and will probably break. PF powder products are usually very soft and so they can come off dusty in the pan, but this one isn't as dusty as their bronzers or other powders. Overall a good drugstore buy, particularly if there is a good sale.

I got this for about $12-13 at Walmart a little pricey but PF is usually a pretty good brand (with crappy packaging though) I can see why people would have trouble seeing this as it is a very subtle natural glow. I have very pale skin and I think this looks very natural on me. Its just a nice soft shine that I apply on my cheekbones, forehead, bridge of nose, and chin. It's not overdone so it doesn't make me look like I am oily. I like it and plan to repurchase although it's a little expensive for drugstore for me.
