I LOVE this brush. First time I have ever used an electric facial brush. This brush in one week got rid of all my nasty blackheads that I constantly get on my nose. It was a miracle. I have tried countless things, and this brush did the trick!! I love that fact that it has two speeds you can use. I use it every morning with my facial wash on high speed and every night with my scrub wash on low speed.

I did my research first before buying it and while I really wanted a clairsonic brush, I could not justify dishing out 200-300 bucks for it. I found this brush online at amazon for $30 bucks and yes the shipping was free. It normally retails for $100 on the DDF website. I love the fact that it comes with two buffer brushes and one normal brush head. The DDF polishing cream is nothing out of this world, however it works to give you a deep clean, but if you are looking for more then that, you really need to get other products along with this to add to your face routine. This cream has one job, to help clean your face with the brush, but that is it. If you want to reduce wrinkles you need other stuff to do that with. This cream is not a miracle polishing cream, just a really good cream to work with your DDF 400X revolving brush.

The nice thing is that Olay Pro X offers the same EXACT brush and polishing cream replacement kit. So I don't have to whip out $50 bucks for the replacement kit each time just $10-$20 to buy the Olay Pro X kit and the heads are interchangeable due to the fact that its the same exact product!!! The only downside is that it does not offer the buffer brush head. However everything down to the polishing crystals are the same. So if its good enough for olay to use with the regular brush head then its good enough for me!

I will for sure keep using this system to wash my face with!!!

Love this brush. Used others in the past. It's basic and does what its supposed to do. Got mine for $30 and free shipping on amazon. They sell for $99 at ulta. Really love it.

I love this brush! I use the brush head twice a day with the DDF acne cleanser, and the foam head about once a week with the polishing crystals (someone's review said the crystals are baking soda. It's not. It might have baking soda as an ingredient- I haven't checked- but there's definitely more to it than that)
My skin is so much cleaner when using the brush. It's not too harsh, and I have sensitive, acne-prone, aging skin, which ain't the easiest to care for.
The batteries last a long time; I'm still using the original ones that came with it and I've been using it for months, so I guess it doesn't need much power, which is awesome.
Make sure you pull your hair back in a clip or something so you don't get hair caught in it.
I like the ease of it being battery operated as my bathroom only has one outlet, away from the sink so I've never tried the Clarisonic and I don't feel the need to.
All in all, this thing is life changing. I can't imagine washing my face without it. So far, I've been very impressed with all the DDF products I've tried.
My only complaint is since I use the brush head way more often than the foam ones or the polishing crystals, I wish they just sold replacement brush heads. I was wondering if the Olay ones fit, since they are made by the same company. I read a review that the Olay fits perfectly, so I'm excited to try them.

I'll tell you what this does:
*Enlarges pores
*Makes your skin so dry
*Makes you wrinkly
*Breaks you out into little whiteheads
*makes your face red and irritated.

I didn't use this for longer than the directions advised , nor did I use it on full mode yet it still irritated my skin and did nothing a regular exfoliator couldn't do.. (in fact it did much worse!)

I have very acne-prone skin, so I'm very selective when it comes to scrubs. I've been using (and still use) tazorac and benziclin for my acne. I will say that this product helps clear up the acne scars and dry skin from the medication I use. You do have to make sure you wash off all the scrub with your normal face wash or you will break out if you have sensitive skin. I can't attest to how much this does for wrinkles, since I don't have any. I've used it 2 times a week for the past 6 months and it has done wonders!

My daughter gave this to me as a gift last Christmas. The first time I used it, that day 2 people asked if I'd "had work done." The next day, someone else commented on how glowing and great my complexion looked. And the compliments have kept on coming. Not that I usually look bad, lol, don't get me wrong...but when you're pushing 60 and you start getting lots of compliments on your skin, that is a good thing!
I work part-time in a salon that sells skin-care products and makeup, so I probably come under closer scrutiny than many people. Since I want to sell our products I don't burst out with, "Oh I use DDF and Peter Thomas Roth," because some of the products in our line are great too. But honestly I think it is the DDF micro-polishing that makes the biggest difference.
I am erratic about skin care, but try to remember to use this one every few weeks at least. I use the DDF cleanser first, with the brush attachment. Then I use the sponge attachment with the micro-exfoliating cream. After this my skin feels like silk and looks glowing, rosy, and fresh. (And younger :-)
The only drawback I have found is that if I don't rinse super carefully, for at least a few minutes, I will end up with a tiny pimple the next day. I think because I am older and my pores are probably larger, that it is easier to get these teensy polishing beads left in a pore. So just be careful that you do a super rinse. Actually, now that I'm thinking of it, it would probably be a good idea to use the brush attachment again, as this would dislodge any extra bits.
All in all though, somewhat of a miracle worker.

This device is the SAME as the Olay Pro-X except that the olay does not have the sponge head. Both the Olay and DDF have the scrubbing brush which feels the same and does the same at scrubbing the skin clean. Both brands have duo speeds (med and low) that rotate the same (as far as I can tell turning them both on next to one another and using them). The Olay one retails for around 30 and the DDF one for $100! I bought mine when the Skinstore.com had a $50 off coupon when spending 200 (also purchased the clarisonic mia) so I consider this item to cost me $48. The polishing crystals are exactly the same as the microdermabrasion polishing crystals from Olay - except the Olay contains fragrances. The "polishing crystals" from both brands are baking soda. Kind of places the prices of these "scrubs" into perspective. The refill from the DDF is $50!! but contains two heads and the "scrub." The refill on the Olay brushes is 2/$10 + the cost of the microdermabrasion duo set (separate from the Pro-X device- but same ingredients as DDF microdermabrasion scrub). If the Olay one made the sponge head I would have no use for the DDF one. The sponge head applicator makes the microdermabrasion gentler than using your hands because the pressure is lighter - but more even. I have not found a device that compares to the DDF in quality, but for $100 retail price I expect more.... such as being rechargable like the Clarisonic Mia and having different heads like the TEI Spa UltraCleanse (device with different heads for face, body, and feet retails for $75 - but I do not like for face because rotates only on high and at this speed sponge tugs at skin and brushes for face and body are too scratchy feeling). If I were to choose between the DDF Revolve and Clarisonic Mia the Clarisonic would win by far because it leaves my skin softer! I would also like to add that the sponge and brush from the DDF fit the Olay device - clicks right on (and vice versa)!

LOVE. I have extremely sensitive skin & was afraid this system might be too harsh, but it isn't. Definitely leaves skin smooth & clear.

Don't forget to make sure there are no stray hairs falling around your face, I have definitely gotten a few pieces caught up in the rotating motion of the brush.

Also, I have dropped the entire unit countless times, on the tile floor & in the shower, and it has not broken or stopped working. I've had it for over a year & everything is as good as new.

I love this for the polishing with the crystals. I like my Clarsonic better for cleansing. My local Costco has the DDF for $70, so if you're interested in it you might want to see if your Costco is carrying it. It's been my experience that they run out of cool items like this fast. Their price sure beats $98 at Sephora.

I absolutely love this product. It is way cheeper than the clarisonic and works amazing. I have acne and it is not harsh on my skin. (I use the brush attachment). It makes my skin a lot softer than normal. I feel like my skin is really clean after I use it. I would recommend only using it at night so that your skin does not get irritated.

I purchased this about a week ago. The Sephora SA actually picked this over the Clarisonic for me. Why? Well, unlike the Clarisonic, this tool can be used for Microdermabrasion. The Clarisonic's main use for everyday CLEANSING. DDF's comes with both a cleansing brush and 2 foam pads used for microdermabrasion. I can say my face is sooooo soft and looks awesome. I use the cleansing brush everyday in the shower in the morning before work as I feel it helps keep my face from getting oily by mid-day. I use the microdermabrasion foam pad 2x per week at night. Usually on Sunday and Wednesday since my skin tends to break out more during the week from extended makeup wear.

I love all of the DDF line. It really has kept my face looking great. I will continue to use this as long as they make it. I may purchase the Clarisonic just for cleaning since I'm quite happy with the idea of a good clean every morning. I compared Clarisonic and DDF in terms of power and size. Clarisonic was better, but I had no clue how my face would react and it doesn't do microdermabrasion so DDF was my choice.

I read on one of the reviews on the sephora site that you can buy the DDF refill heads for this with the microderm crystals but use the Olay ProX handheld unit, which is 1/3 the price... I probably should have done that... anyway - this is great. the brush for cleansing is so-so, I'd rather use a clarisonic. its a little wimpy. but the foam head for the crystals is really good. its really gentle but makes your skin really smooth. I heard from my esthetician that microderm is the key to helping keep my skin clear, so I thought I'd buy this instead of going there so often. So far my skin feels great, but I will update on how my skin reacts! so far - too expensive, but good results.

I just wanna say that I am in crazy LOVE with this product. Heard about this product from Guiliana Rancic - she tweeted about it some time ago, and I just had to try it out because Guiliana has one of the smoothest and best skin in all of Hollywood! So whatever product she uses, I wanna try it out too.

Been only using it for a week and my skin has never felt this baby-butt smooth before! My acne scars are starting to slowly fade away, and my skin complexion is visibly brighter. My skin is very sensitive and breaks out pretty easily and the DDF Revolver does not break out my skin, it actually reduces some of the redness I had around my nose and cheek areas. I'm expecting better results as I continue to use this product.

I love this scrub and brush combo. It really makes my skin glow, using it 2-3 times a week for best results right now. The micro crystal scrub and rotating sponge combo really makes my skin feel so soft and smooth for 1-2 days. Perfect for flaky skin as a result of Retin-A, etc.

I do wish it came with a travel bag b/c I cannot be without this!

My most recent and favorite cosmetic gadget. Love the scrub. The combo is so very, very effective. Gives you that amazing glow, prepares skin for serum/cream/mask and really helps with keeping blemishes away. I use it 2-3 times a week. LOVE!!!

UPDATE: Returned this product after discovering that "OLAY Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System" contains an identical brush!!!!!! for a 3rd of the price!!! The brush itself is truly GREAT, personally I prefer the cleansing power and size to the Clarisonic.

In short - WOW! My skin is smoother, softer, radiant and healthier! Worth every cent and comes highly recommended for everybody, especially those with congested skin. While the Clarisonic systems exfoliate, this system polishes! There is a place for both in your bathroom and my review is primarily for stressed/congested/problematic type skins.

And the long version...
I'm a big fan of Clarisonic Mia. In my opinion, they are two very different items and I see a place for both of them in my home skin care regime.
The Revolve 400X uses polishing crystals with a battery operated hand held foam microdermabrasion unit (say that 10 times fast...) The difference with the Revolve 400X is that the 'clean' is deeper and does a fantastic job at bringing the deeper bumps to the surface. It makes your skin shiny in a good way. You can try the item on the back of one hand for a few seconds with the foam and crystals and you see how much clearer and lighter the skin is.
My current skin condition is congested with some blind pimples.I have used my Clarisonic for them however by the time that the exfoliation takes place, new bumps have formed. It takes about 6 weeks for the bumps to go away usually.
With the Revolve 400X, the bumps are gone within 1-2 goes - ie a week. AMAZING! It is stronger than a facial scrub but still does not damage the skin or irritate it due to its mechanism.
The Revolve 400X comes with a brush for regular exfoliation which I don't like. The Clarisonic does a much better job and you can use it every day. The Clarisonic is faster as it uses sound waves to drive its mechanical action. The Revolve 400X is much slower - mainly because you don't want to rub all of your skin layers off at once with the polishing crystals.
My skin is sensitive and becomes easily congested with heat, stress and irritating skin products including chemical peels and/or exfoliation products. The skin on my cheeks was a little red after the microdermabrasion but nothing that didn't settle within minutes. It didn't make my vitamin C serum or moisturiser sting afterwards so it is vey gentle.
I thought my skin was pretty good prior to using the Revolve 400X. I thought it was great after using it for the first time and this morning (post first used) - it is awesome!
Luminous, clear, softer, smoother, brighter. What more could you ask for? Oh, my cheek definition has returned - horrah!
It is $134.95AUD compared to the $300 odd for the full Clarisonic system (look online and buy it overseas for a better price!). The Revolve comes with 2 foam heads, 1 brush attachment, the unit and 2xAA batteries so you have all you need to start using it when you get home.
I haven found that I do not need to go to the beautician since using the Clarisonic and definitely no reason to go now that I have the Revolve sooooo technically I've saved money :)
UPDATE 11/12/2010 - I have been using this for a few weeks now slowly increasing from 1 time a week to every 2-3rdish day. LOVE it - helps heaps with congestion and brings blind pimples to the surface faster and safer than any method!
UPDATE UPDATE 6/2/2011 - So now I've been using this for a few months and cannot live without this gadget! If my skin looks sluggish, oily or bumpy - out comes my Revolve 400X and it makes it all better. I look forward to coming home and my skin cleansing ritual. It's my reward for working hard and I feel so beautiful with the radiant skin it gives me. My skin condition has vastly improved over the last few months with only 1 blind pimple!
My friend has stressed/congested skin and I convinced her to buy it. She texted me later that day telling me of how she was in love and had the confidence to use only concealer and powder to go out. I knew she'd love it and pretty sure you will too!!!

this brush is fantastic! i purchased it about two weeks ago and have been using the cleansing brush daily, and have done the microdermabrasion treatment once. my skin is glowing and smooth, and a lot of the redness from acne leftovers is diminished.

my skin is dry but prone to breakouts, which makes it difficult to manage. it's also fairly sensitive. i look forward to washing my face with this brush, since it makes my skin look and feel amazing. i've always been a girl that wore a full face of makeup daily to even my skin tone and cover blemishes, but after a few days of this i've been able to get away with just a light dusting of powder and a little concealer - my skin already looks that much better.

love this! absolutely worth a try.

I love this product!
As promised by DDF, the results were awesome! I used it for the first time today and my skin feels soft and smooth. I have mild rosacea and my skin did not become irritated or red after using this product. My skin is glowing. This is perfect for someone who has sensitive skin. I am sensitive to acids so exfoliation is a hassle sometimes, but this really delivered awesome results without a sign of irritation. I give it 5+ lippies.
The tube of the crystals will last months, so even though it might seem expensive, the price is very fair. This also comes with a rotating brush head which can be used daily for cleansing, which makes this item even more attractive.
