I love the bottle's simplicity but wish it were a skull or something- WHY IS THIS NAMED "HALLOWEEN"?! The only scents I can tell are aquatic violet, with a bunch of other stuff like unripe banana peels? I DUNNO. Nothing I've ever smelt before!

This has been my favorite for years and all other perfumes I have tried to love have failed. Nothing like this. This is perfect. It makes me feel happier and at same time, has a calming effect on me, reminding something of zen-like. The staying power is not the best, but this is a EDT and not EDP. I wish it came as a EDP as well but it's not possible with airy and floral scents I've understood, but oh well. I don't mind re-applying during the day as it has an aromatherapeutic effect on me, giving me an instant mood lift!

The packaging is simple and classic, which is always better than some weird artsy bottles and bottles with huge corks that fly all over the place. Seriously. I like it.

Yes, it's a floral, but all I get is a sickly sweet smell... Headache inducing. It's not terrible, but it's not a very pleasant scent for me; I received a bottle a couple of years ago and decided to give it a go. The odd thing is, I received compliments on the rare occasion I decided to wear it. I ended up giving it away to a friend and still cringe whenever I smell it on anyone, so it's definitely not a body chemistry issue. I like the concept and bottle though, and others seem to enjoy it, so i'll give it a lippie for that.

This perfume is okay. I bought a sample size of the perfume because I liked it but didn't know if I liked it enough to splurge on a big bottle. This fragrance is flowery and pretty, and a light scent. It sort of reminds me of my Eclat D'Arpege...maybe also because they are both purple. But I like Eclat D'Arpege more. This is pretty and light, but not one I would probably repurchase.

I'm surprised that there aren't any aquatic notes listed in this perfume because all my nose can pick up on is a salty oceanic smell. It's a bizarre mishmash of tart saltiness and odd buttery tuberose. I tried this on a day where there are a flurry of snowflakes outside my window, and it feels very out of place. I'd say this is most definitely a Spring or Summer fragrance. Like the reviewer below, I agree that this is NOT mysterious or dark, I think that the name Halloween evokes this supernatural image in people's minds. The dry down is certainly better than the initial whiff of strong saltwater. I'm going to have to give this scent another go when the weather warms up a bit before I decide if I actually like it or not.

Oh, how I wanted to love this. The notes sounded perfect, and I think the bottle is just the most adorable thing ever. Unfortunately, I don't get a watery floral at all, only about four hours of marzipan and candied violets. It find it far too sweet for a woman of my years. Sigh.

My favorite!! I would describe it as light and clean with a touch of floral. My daughter started using it as her signature and I dropped it so we both didn't have the same one. Now she's a Burberry fan and off at college, so I immediately made it my signature again. One of my coworkers always deeply breathes it in and exclaims ahhhhhhl whenever he's in the elevator with me :)

This was a blind buy for me and I purchased a miny size to make sure I even liked this. What a mistake, I should have gotten a larger bottle! Wow, this is so lovely. I don’t understand where is the “average floral” that so many others are describing because this scent is nothing but average. Best way to classify this is an aquatic floral. Looking at the notes, I didn’t think that this was anything to write home about but when I read some of the reviews online, one got me intrigued. Reviewer said that this fragrance is like walking through enchanted forest, at dusk, and smelling all the flowers and leaves. This is an excellent description of this scent. Instead of Halloween, it should have been called Twilight. I smell the watery flowers and leaves(no pepper though) and there is a little bit of incense on the drydown to give it a sort of a smoky feeling. I think this is a very unique scent and I haven’t smelled anything to even remotely similar to it before. Lasting power is ok-this is not a loud scent so it will linger on your skin softly for several hours before gently fading away. I have to say that nothing whatsoever about this scent reminds me of Halloween-not the bottle, color or scent itself. Twilight or Fairy Dust(I think Paris Hilton has scent with this name, lol!) would have been entirely appropriate. I’m about to buy a bigger bottle because this scent is truly enchanting!

Saw Halloween on a 1/2 price table at a duty free shop. I sampled it out of curiosity. On my skin it was shrilly sweet aquatic topping some sweet floral that was actually harsh. I did not care for this scent on myself but I can see how some might like it. There are some bright florals that I can wear well and sometimes even an aquatic but together it just doesn't work on me. I don't understand why this was named Halloween either. Pretty bottle though. No sale.

This is my favorite perfume and I wear it almost daily.

It is a floraly/aquatic smell that is soft but people always comment on it and how wonderful it is- and ask what I'm wearing. I usually don't want to tell people because I don't want everyone wearing it!

It has decent staying power- but reapplication is necessary if you want the scent to stay all day/night. The bottle is simple but beautiful-

and for those of you thinking it would smell like Halloween the holiday.. candy corn? I don't know what it would smell like ;) but it is really great if you are looking for a light floraly scent- ha.

I really love Halloween Freesia.

I don't get any cardamom in the top notes, and the peach/pear/lotus stand out most to me. It's not fruity, but the fruit does lend a sweetness to the floral aspect, keeping it from being too sharp.

As time goes on, sillage decreases - by the three-hour mark it's close to the skin, and by six hours you have to mash your nose up to your arm. But for the price, I didn't expect spectacular throw - I assume that if you layer with the lotion set the scent will last longer, but the longevity of the EDT alone definitely leaves something to be desired.

Reminds me a lot of Sanrio Momoberry and Body Shop Lotus Petal (now discontinued) - freesia/lotus/lily.

I am quite shocked by how much I like this. For reference: I love Avignon, Rochas Femme, Bal a Versailles, Jasmin Noir... NOT light and airy little floral numbers! But this one, magically, I really enjoy. The topnotes are horrid aquatic nonsense, but happily this fades away quite quickly and what's left is a happy ozonic floral, not sweet, a bit tangy, just right for spring, in fact! I really think this is well done and would be a hit if available here in South Africa, although the name is idiotically mismatched. I won't be wearing it a lot, but I'm glad to have my little mini.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!! It was hard for me to find it in my country... I only could buy it at airport's duty free stores, and I'm totally in love with it! It's sweet but not too much and it is perfect for every day and for school... love it sooo much!

And if you buy a perfume w/o testing it first.. well, no surprise you give bad reviews, names and packages are NOT what you will put on your skin!

I was swayed by the name, expecting this scent be evocative of its namesake, or at least autumn. How wrong I was! I compare it to picking up a glass of water to drink and discovering the beverage is something else. This scent is a fraud, and should be named something else.

When I asked an SA for a fragrance recommendation, I was looking for something "fresh". She pulled this one. When I first smelled it, I thought it was too floral for what I was looking for. A few months later I saw it on sale at scentiments (great! site for discounted perfumes, BTW) and decided to purchase it. I wore it today for the first time and am completely in love with it. It is definitely a "fresh" floral. I definitely get the aquatic tones in it, and the staying power was excellent. Very young, fresh, and clean but it has personality. After buying a bunch of higher priced, higher rated perfumes, I can honestly say I'm really surprised Halloween isn't more popular on the board. It's a unique beautiful scent and reasonably priced.

I like this fragrance, but it is a mistery to me. I can't put my finger on the exact notes of the fragrance. I don't usually go for florals (I am more of an spicy fragrance girl or I'll lean towards fruity for fun). I guess I wanted a depature from my usual, and this was recommended. I do smell violets in it, and I little citrus. I read somewhere that it has lavender, but I can't really detect it. Someone said the name had to do with the name of a flower, but I haven't been able to verify that. There's also a rummor that it was named after the date of it's creation. His other fragrances, which I really want to try, are called Duende (spanish for elf or spirit), white, and black. You can tell that there's a whole magical quality to his frangrances. They are harder to find than the usual. I like that because I llke to be unique in my choice of fragrance. Halloween is definatly unique, and grows on you. It wasn't expensive either.

A floral, aquatic mall-type scent. I was hoping for something for Autumn, but this is a screaming Summer fragrance. Nice if you like light, inoffensive aquatic florals. But Halloween, it ain't.
