I am going to keep this one short and sweet.
GORGEOUS color. Just pretty pretty pretty and perfect for spring.
HORRIBLE formula. Streaky as sin and took 4 coats to get an even look. Into the purge pile with this one. That being said-polish is strange and maybe with another person's chemistry it would work wonderfully

Like just about everyone said - this took 3 coats and still looks a tad streaky. The finish was the mattest I have ever seen a polish dry. Top coat solved it. Great colir. Would buy agsin for the color, but what's up with the formulstion?

Love the colour but it misses out on a top rating as I find the finish too matte, even with sechevite on top!

This polish is a lovely color: a pale neon melon, very retro. But as many people have mentioned, the application is terrible. Even after three coats, it was streaky and uneven, as if I'd asked a five-year-old to paint my nails. (I also dislike the matte finish, but that can be fixed with a topcoat.) There are lots of coral polishes on the market these days; don't buy this one.

I'm like the majority here, LOVE the color. It's bright and cheerful. But also
Ike most don't think you'll get away with one coat. The 2 times I've used this so far I had to do 2-3 coats.
The first time I used it I applied 2 coats of Haute As Hello and one of Sinful Cloud 9 (a nearly sheer slightly shimmery orange) for a little added shimmer since this does not dry glossy, sort of semi matte. I honestly can't remember the staying power as opposed to the 2nd time but I do remember it chipping quick.
What I am surprised to not see more of is the chipping from this polish. The second time which is recently, I applied 2 coats of Haute As Hello and one clear coat (Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Clear coat) and this stuff chipped like crazy starting the very next day!
Next time I plan to do a first coat something close in color then the HAH to see if that helps the staying power and chipping. Will update!

This has got to be one of my favorite polishes of all time. At least, color wise. OK, I admit I'm not a big fan of Essie (c'mon, it's about time they update their packaging/brushes), but I this color looks amazing on a sun-kissed skin come summertime! I have tried to no avail to find a dupe, but so far, haven't been able to. I had none of the problems people are complaining about (application was a breeze). Perhaps I got a different batch? I usually don't give 5 lippies to Essie polishes, but IMO this one deserves it based on color alone.

I love this color, but it never looks quite like it does in the pictures on me. The application is a pain, yes, but that's not a deal breaker for me. The deal breaker is the chipping! It doesn't last 24 hours! I use the same base (essie) and top coat (seche vite) as I do with all my other polishes and this is hands down the worst polish I own. I've used it 3 or 4 times because I thought I was crazy. Every time it chips within 24 hours and looks like crap within 2 days. It's really not worth the difficult application for a mani that lasts only a day or two! I'll say it did last better on my toes, so I will continue using it for pedicures. Never again on a mani tho. Surely there's a dupe somewhere. Just not worth it.

I didn't experience any of the formula problems that people are mentioning here.
Does it require a little more work because it's a neon? Yes. Should that stop you from trying it? No!
I sought this color out because I saw a certain reality 'star' wearing this on screen and it really caught my eye. So after some intensive Googling, I found it was this color.
It's unique because it's a typical Essie pink-coral with a neon twist. Great for spring and summer too. While it may look milquetoast in the bottle, give it a try. You will be surprised.

This is one of those colors that is so unique and I love, BUT the application is horrible. I'm someone that is very good at applying difficult colors and even it took me a while to work with. It takes about 2-3 maybe even 4 coats to make it completely opaque and evened out. It's very streaky, neon & dries matte. It's a gorgeous peachy/orange/coral color you usually see brighter neon polishes then this which is why I love it so it's not scream out loud bright. I would repurchase just because the color is unique and I'm willing to take the time with it but if your someone that's not I would skip this one!

I have to agree with many other reviews. The colour is gorgeous. The application is awful. It is too hard to work with and I, like many others need three to four coats to get this right. Skip this one.

beautiful peach color for spring and summer! Had it done at a nail salon and searched forever to find it in stores, absolutely worth the purchase!
Age: 30-35 Skin: Dry, Medium Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
I have to say I am quite disappointed with this Essie product. The colour is gorgeous but the formula is terrible. It needs 3-4 coats at least and it goes on streaky. The final finish is also chalky and not shiny at all. This is my first ever Essie product & I doubt I will be purchasing any others. Will stick to OPI from now on.

gorgeous color, a bright peachy melon shade. Part of the Summer 2010 collection. Because of the Matte finish, it was a streaky application, needed about four coats....

I absolutely love this nail polish! It only took me 2 coats for this. I love the color against my skin color (about NC35-NC40). Looks pastel in the bottle but in fact is more of a neon color.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
Really pretty color, but it's just too tough to work with. When a nail polish needs three or more coats, it's not a good formula. I'm not even sure why nail polish companies would release a color that needs three or more coats to go fully opaque. Grrr!
This formula is also incredibly streaky. I did three coats on all my nails and it still looked streaky on a few of my nails.
I'm thankful I bought this color online for super cheap because I probably won't be using it very often.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
While this is a very pretty peachy melon shade, its is not quite worth the streaky application and unusually patchy finished consistency to repurchase. It is a beautiful shade, but my particular bottle had a terribly runny consistency. Your mileage may vary, as I often find with Essie polishes. They are hit or miss. I rarely have the patience to apply more than two coats to get a good smooth application of ANY polish...I think its unaccpetable to have to use more unless you just happen to want an extremely amped up version of the color. I am a two coat kinda girl!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Cool Hair: Red, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Green
This is my favourite color from Summer 2010, it's like a pastel neon coral that's very flattering on many skin tones. Works great as a mani or pedi shade. My only problen was that it's very goopy and I can't apply it well on my own, however my nail girl does a fine job with it, so I's day it requires expert application.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Combination, Fair, Cool Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Green
This was my first experience with Essie and I'm very pleasantly surprised. My bottle of Haute As Hello is a pretty melon color. Something about corals just screams summer to me and this polish is no exception.
I've been warned about Essie's major formula issues, but I didn't have any major problems with HAH. It was a little streaky on the first coat, but it evened out by the third. Not nearly as bad as I had anticipated. I'm thinking there might also be some neon pigment in the formula because it dries slightly matte. Definitely needs a coat of my bff Seche Vite.
FINAL VERDICT: YES, I would repurchase.

if you go into a store selling this color, you will notice there seems to be about 3 variations. i have seen bottles that look very pale, some that look mid tone, some that are almost orange. a girlfriend and i both had our nails done with this, and they look totally different. we compared bottles and you'd swear we each had different colors.
so, my review is for *my* bottle which is on the lighter side. it is similarly to Van Dgo, also by essie. a bright, stark, peachy color. i love it on fingers and toes, it is like a creamy neon. i didnt have much problem with application - 3 coats may be best but i could work with two. dried to a nice shiny finish, wore well.

What a disappointment :( I am very fair (NW20 skintone). I fell in love with this color in the bottle. A gorgeous neon-like pinky coral with a creamy-like texture. Application was very streaky, had to redo several nails to get an even coat. My biggest gripe is: the color that appeared on my nails was COMPLETELY different than the color in the bottle! Not even in the same color family! I have never had this happen before. This gorgeous pinky coral was now a warm shade of PUMPKIN ORANGE! I went out shortly after painting my nails and I was mortified to have this color on my toes. I took it off the second I came home. I put the bottle next to my toes and showed my husband. He could not believe they were the "same" color. Huge disappointment :(
