i have this in 'love in paris', and havent been able to write a review on it. it's a clear/sparkley color and i really like it. im a big nyx junkie and love all of their stuff. if you are looking for something to tone-down a too bright lipstick or to put a little sparkle on to of a matte finish, try this. yes, you have to use a brush (or your finger), but i dont mind the extra step if the results are worth it, which i believe it is!

I ordered a few of these on ebay. I had been curious about these, and can't find them in any stores near me. I ordered this, Georgia Peach, and Okie Dokie Artichokie. The other two are definitely cream colors and consistency. This one is frosty, which surprised me. I don't think this is a super bright pink. It kind of reminds me of MAC Sweetie lipstick, in terms of color (although Sweetie is not frosty, I just mean in terms of actual color, not finish). The frost is noticeable but not overwhelming, IMO. And - if you put some gloss over this, it is SUPER shiny and lips look great! I used one of my NYC Lip Gliders over this and I've never seen my lips shinier! To be honest, I don't love any of the lip lacquer pots that I purchased. They're not AS gunky as some I've tried (I'm talking to you, NARS), but they don't really do much. I was kind of hoping they would be like MAC tendertones (MAN, do I wish they would bring those back...). I'm doing reviews on the lip lacquer pots as well - check out my reviews if you are interested!

I am actually a big fan of NYX products. They are inexpensive and of surprisingly nice quality. I have tried their eyeshadows, pigment powder, blush, and lipglosses in tubes and like them all. I did not care for the Lip Lacquer Pots. They are the same glosses found in the tubes with the added inconvenience of using a finger or brush to apply. I was hoping that they would be a bit thicker and last a bit longer than the tubes. Admittedly, I prefer glosses that lean more toward the consistency of MAC Lipglasses, that have a greater staying power. The NYX glosses are lighter in texture, more like Juicy Tubes and for me, need reapplication after a really short time. To be fair, I am not judging quality so much as preference for a more substantial texture. If you like Juicy Tubes or Fruit Spritzer-type glosses, you will enjoy these. They have a nice color range.

I have been wanting to try the NYX Lip Lacquer Pot for quite some time. I finally ordered this from cherryculture.com and I ordered the wrong color from my wish list. I wanted Georgia Peach instead of Sweet Pea. The pot is a pretty large size container. It's your typical container, unscrew, stick your finger or brush in, etc.
Sweet Pea is pink frost, not shimmer, very bright pink frost. I was so disappointed that I pulled the wrong shade. I only paid $6.00, but in these difficult times, I hate to let money go to waste, because I do not have a job. I swiped this on my hand with my brush and tried it on my lips, and I looked like a throw back from the sixties. Sweet Pea will not work for me, even if I had a dark sun tan. This is too frosty and pink. I will not buy this color and it's doubtful that I will buy this product again...
