I love various shades of eye shadows but shades of any light warm brown or deep burnt coral are my favourite as they make my blue eyes pop. My typical eye makeup consists of a nude base with a matte brown eyeshadow in the socket area, blended, with eyeliner on the upper lid and waterline (then smudged below the water line). I see this really suits me, therefore I'm aways on the look out for a warm shade of brown. Praline is JUST PERFECT. The texture is incredible; buttery smooth, soft matte finish and it glides on wonderfully. The colour is one of my absolute favourites as it is a beautiful warm and flattering shade, soft and pretty. I layer it on for intensity in the socket area then blend (with the winshield wipe technique). It really, really gives off such a beautiful dimension of colour, not too strong or light and it truly is a flattering shade. I love it. I bought a whole bunch of neutral similar shades to praline from this particular line (some more lighter, darker or more coral) and this is so far my favourite one.

I ordered this along with a bunch of other EL Pure Colour eyeshadows. The quality is great: smooth and silky texture, matte, dense color, and long wearing. I picked this shade thinking it looked like a good neutral beige for work, but unfortunately it's a little bit too warm for my colouring (I am pale with pinky-blue undertones). However, I passed it on to a friend with olive-tone skin and it looks fantastic on her :)

Praline is a soft caramel colour and has a matte finish. This shade is a little sheer so it requires the shadow to be built up. The colour of this is a bit darker than my skintone so it makes for a good lid shade to use for a simple neutral eye. The formula is silky and blends pretty well. They fade without primer so be sure to apply one.

I really like Estee Lauder eyeshadow in general. The silky smoothness and long wear plus no creasing on me makes this line my go to shadows. Praline is a matte pecan color that just does not do anything for my porcealin skin tone.
