I bought this on a whim, with a discount coupon, desperate for something that would help my hair. And this did. It has no silicones, wich my hair hates. It just makes it look wonderful, not heavy, and very hydrated. I bought the big bottle, 500mL, and it was definetly worth the price. Other conditioners make my hair really heavy if I want it to look slightly hydrated. I'm in love.

I kind of got stuck with this product when the old leave-in got discontinued. I don't love it like I did the other leave-in, but it keeps my dry, kinky hair moisturized better than any other leave-in I've found. I blame L'Oreal - I guess the French don't realize Americans of all hair-types prefer a better leave-in. I appreciate that the smell is very light and generic.

Love this stuff! I have very wavy hair that gets dry at the ends and not usually a big fan of leave in conditioner as most i have tried make it feel combo greasy/ crunchy. Tried it for the first time the other day, they had two ounce samples on clearance at my local cosmetic outlet for 75 percent off. I bought a couple and using this in combo with a little moroccan oil has definitely controlled my hair even in the humidity.

I am a fan of the Olive Fruit Oil Hair Pak and matching shampoo, and now also a fan of the Hair Conditioner and Groom Aid Formula ...... I use this as a leave-in on my ends and it helps keep my hair tangle-free and manageable ...... I also find that after washing my hair, I can add a bit all over my hair and scrunch through and my waves dry nicely (I have been skipping any further styling products, as I find that this product along with the Kiehls Dry Oil is enough product for my waves to behave.)

This is a simple conditioner that works really well with my hair (I have very fine hair). It doesn't smell particularly good but it doesn't weigh my hair down. I used it with Pantene Pro V shampoo... I don't know if that affects anything. It's a bit on the pricier side for conditioner, but it's worth it.

OMG, love this stuff. Got a sample of Kiehl's Olive Oil deep conditioning pak from nordstrom yesterday. My hair is (was) crunchy and birdsnest like until today. I can't stop touching my hair. I put the olive oil pak on for about 30 minutes after washing with neutrogena clarifying shampoo. Then all I did was add about a quarter size dollop of 133 from about the tops of my ears to the ends of my hair. I blew dry and noticed immediately that my hair was shiner. When I finished drying, I touched my hair and said out loud, "my hair feels like (bleepin) silk" to myself in the mirror. I even ran a flat iron through it and it is shiny, bouncy and voluminous. i don't know if the 133 would work on its own - but I know that it works well with the olive oil pak, so I will be buying both and using them together. woo hoo!

Perfect. I totally love it as a leave-in (didnt try it as a reg conditioner yet). No frizz, soft, bouncy hair! Hooked! I think its much better than their Leave-in, I do consider that one more mosturizing due to the coconut oil. Anyhow, i totally love this one, makes my hair look much better!

I use Formula 133 mainly as a conditioner, occasionally a few drops as a styling aid. I have wavy color treated hair that I blow dry regularly: as a result my ends are a bit dry and slightly brittle feeling.

No other conditioner makes my hair feel softer. The scent is pleasantly herbal - no cloying synthetic sweetness. I'm constantly trying new conditioners, but always go back to 133.

Again, I got a 65ml free bottle of this, I think it's a really nice conditioner. (and again, I prefer something with stronger smell)

This is probably good for normal and shorter hair. But it's completely oil-free (not even synthetic oils! Pretty impressive), and with my long hair with drying split ends I need to add a little oil to protect my hair. This doesn't do much. (I use their Leave-In Conditioner instead.)
This has a nice, fluid, light consistency though that is easy to distribute evenly. It's probably good for normal to greasy hair that gets frizzy and for any shorter hair styles that don't get split ends.
Finally, I like that Kiehl's doesn't test on animals.

I use this as a grooming aid, and I love it. When I wear my hair curly, it tames the frizz and smells like neroli. The texture is divine, and because it is also a conditioner, leaves my hair nice and moist, not dry and brittle. I would say it has emollient qualities that really help keep the waves in my hair wavy. I would not suggest this as a rinse out conditioner unless you have thin or oily hair. My hair is thick and dry and needs something a little more moisturizing.

The best conditioner there is for the following reasons:

1. Very light texture.
2. Does not give me acne or any form of break out.
3. Does not make my face oily
4. Does not weigh my hair down
5. Leaves my hair shiny

I use this with Amino Acid shampoo and always rinse off. For reference, I have long hair and the only thing that touches my hair is henna + indigo and Sisley botanical extract for hair and scalp.

Worth every penny.

I'm a little surprised that there are so many raving reviews here, I thought Kiehls Hair Conditioner and Grooming Aid Formula was just okay.

I took two lippies off because it did not detangle my hair, and did not do anything noticeable for my hair.

I wonder if my hair type would benefit more by using this as a grooming aid instead of conditioner...

I received this as a sample in one of my Kiehls orders, and I really liked it at first. And I still like it, too. But it upsets me how Kiehls can't create a styling product that is somewhat in between the Formula 133 and the Leave-in Conditioner! The formula 133 seems to not provide enough moisture for my hair, and the leave-in makes my hair ultra soft but weighs it down! So, if you are in the market for a *light* but effective leave-in, look no further than the Formula 133. I might buy this product to have around to use on impulse, as it did leave my hair shiny and soft.

I think this is the best of all the Kiehls conditioners. Quite frankly I don't think any of them are outstanding, but this one is the best of all of them. This is a very light liquid like solution that is great at detangling. Also very nice for a leave in conditioner. Overall it's alright if you are looking for something to work fast and is not heavy.

i would buy this by the bucket if i could. i have long, thick, virgin hair and this works great for me. my roots are oily, but i get major frizz, too. this conditioner doesn't break out my neck or cheeks like most other conditioners do. i leave it on for 2 minutes, comb it through, then leave it on for another 3-5 minutes and rinse. it does what i need it to do, doesn't smell cheap, and never leaves build up. the price is outrageous unless you buy the largest bottle-it goes quickly because quite a lot is needed.

Made my hair kinda shiny but weighed it down. Still LOVE the heat protecting straightening cream!!! Really similar to their leave-in conditioner.

Just started using this hair conditioner and am quite pleased with how manageable and soft my hair feels. I haven't used it as a grooming aid, but think that might be more for men.
