I really like this mascara. I use my Elizabeth Arden lash curler and their Ceramide Lash Extending mascara always first before I put on any other mascara. I recently just bought this Voluminous Million Lashes after I saw my friend use it. I was a little iffy about the brush at first. But I really really like it. I only say like and give it 4 stars instead of a 5 because it flakes kind of easily and if you put way too much on your lashes will start to stick and will be hard to separate. But over all I really liked it. It gave superior volume and my lashes were really long after using it. But It also helps I used the curler and the ceramide formula from elizabeth arden (really does help for any lash). This was also easy to wipe off with my make up wipes. This is one of my favorite drug store mascara's.

The mascara delivers its promise of volumising lashes. I have scarce lashes which are straight. I curl them and apply this mascara. The fat plastic comb wand does a great job of separating my lashes, defining them and volumising them. This mascara makes my eye lashes noticeable, and not for clumping. This mascara doesn't clump my eye lashes. The consistency is good, more on the wetter side. Recommended!

It transfers onto my lower eyelids and smudges so much. At first I suspected another eyeliner for giving me raccoon eyes but it was actually this mascara. Oh, and it flakes. It feels heavy and clumps together. Awful.

I've been testing this mascara in the Carbon Black version for a few days now and I actually have really been liking it, which surprised me seeing as so many others seem to hate it!

I think what puts so many people off is the fact that this product claims to "add volume" and create the appearance of "a million lashes", which, duh, is false no matter if you have nonexistent lashes or very full ones. I'm definitely biased though, I'll admit, because my lashes are naturally quite long and thick; however, that has helped me to determine that the reason so many people are let down by this mascara is because it does more lengthening than volumizing. At least that's what I think/have noticed.

It does volumize a little bit, especially at the roots, which helps with a tightlined effect. But overall it had much more of a lengthening and slight curling effect (which was pleasant, because I hate curling my lashes and I never do it). And that gorgeous shiny gold packaging makes it feel lovely to hold and apply. After a day's wear in 90 degree weather, it didn't flake or smudge, which made me very happy.

As a side note, I absolutely adore L'Oreal's carbon black mascaras, because my lashes are also dark black on their own and everything else (even most brands' Blackest Black shades) seem to look more dark grey than black and not frame my eyes well at all. If you have that issue too, definitely try any of the carbon black mascaras this brand has. They're so amazing.

Overall this is a good solid mascara and will be the one I reach for for everyday usage (I'd suggest the original Voluminous Carbon Black for evening looks), and I recommend it.

I was drawn to this product by the packaging. The gold is pretty. I have super sparse thin lashes, and this did nothing for me. If you have small lashes this product isn't for you. It would not coat them at all. I tried putting multiple coats and it wouldn't coat them. It's the only mascara that I tried where I gave up after the first eye and used a different brand. The wand is awful, it has super tiny short bristles. I'm not a fan of plastic wands anyway, but this was horrible. I can't even tell you about length or volume because it wouldn't go on my lashes. Also you hardly get any product on the brush. It's the worst mascara I have ever used! I'll stick to Maybelline colossal.

I bought this mascara simply because it was on sale, I normally wouldn't spend that much on a drugstore mascara.
So I tried it and at first it was great, it lengthened my lashes and separated them really well. However, I really don't get why it is labelled as a mascara that creates volume in your lashes as it really doesn't.
And just like many others have said, its great for the first few uses until it turns to crap. Now when i try to use it, this product tangles my lashes and clumps them, not to mention it flakes off almost immediately. Thus, I was in love with it for the first few uses but now I am looking for a new mascara.
I really don't think it was worth the amount I paid for it.

I have repurchased it several times. I find it separates the lashes well but doesn't give me much length or volume, which is making wonder as I type why I keep repurchasing it (have considered and decided I won't anymore)!

I have found that it applies really well the first few uses, but then dries up and doesn't do a lot, maybe this is why I repurchased, because I like it the first few times!

So to begin, I like this mascara overall. It is a good everyday mascara which doesn't clump but also won't build very much for me. It is on the drier side and the brush really does separate lashes and I love that. I hate the wet mascara that stick all your lashes together. However, it's not very noticeable that your wearing mascara unless you look up close. That may be a perk to some, but I like a more noticeable mascara personally. It is very natural but not very dramatic. Lengthens lashes but does not add much volume at all. Overall good for everyday. Doesn't smudge but does flake a bit. I feel like this gives a nice clean look for eyes unlike the stickier cakey mascara. Definitely the best for separating lashes that I've found in a mascara, so I love that, I just wish there was more volume!!!!

This mascara gives me volume and length. It works extremely well and I don't need to touch it up again for the day. The price is okay for l'oreal (most of the masacara's are around the same price). My lashes don't feel heavy but I have to say it is not the easiest mascara to get off. I definitely need to use special make-up remover for the eyes.
