I got this at Ross for three bucks, so it was pretty cheap for me, but I think that at drugstores it's about ten dollars. I have really light brown eyes, almost honey but with no green flecks, so I thought the hazel eyes palette would make the color pop a little bit. I wasn't wrong, the shadows go on beautifully and almost cream like and they go perfect with my eye shade, so I was really happy with the look. I didn't even minded about the sponge, and used instead my ecotools brushes. When I got home, the shadow was smeared all over my eyes and completely creased. I tried a different day, and the results were the same, but I found out that this only happens when you wear these shadows by themselves. If you put on a primer first, and use different shadows from other brands, you definitely can work with them and finally get those beautiful colors to stay. So overall, the colors in these shadows are beautiful and have a lovely finish, but don't mind using them alone because they won't work.

I loved the shimmery strips when I first saw them! They created a smoky gorgeous look, but after an HOUR my eye shadow was completely sunset! It didn't look intense, it looked faded. I was so disappointed with this product. It seemed the formula has changed. I have a shimmer strips bronzer that I use as a shadow, it doesn't crease or fade! Won't repurchase!

I have blue eyes but generally prefer the colors in the other PF palettes. This palette is no exception; I really enjoy the colors in this one and they make it easy to achieve a smoky eye look. The palette includes a silver, three mauve toned colors (one actually looks like a slightly more mauve UD Sin), three greyish taupes, one deep berry shade and a black. As with all the PF shimmer strips the pigmentation is hit or miss (I find the pinks to be particularly sheer), but the taupes are really nice in this palette - not too cool or warm for my skin tone. I adore the pinkish color second from the top - pairing it with the grey-taupe I can create an oyster shell effect on my lids that looks fresh and flattering. I find that combining pink with the smoky colors has a brightening effect that keeps it from looking too muddy. One minor complaint is that I used different colors from this palette to come up with two different looks and they ended up looking very similar. But I still love this palette and will continue to play around with it, I think it is an ideal color palette for fall :)

Ever give something away and later regret it? Well this was one of those items. Might not look like much but they are soft and blendable and have pretty good pigmentation. I liked to mix up the order and use with other shadows to create looks. The looks that are planned out for you are a lil boring and too similar to each other. In general a good palette to use with other shadows but not too impressive on its own. Would repurchase.

even though my eyes are brown and not hazel, I got this anyway because I liked the shades of purple and grey. I have uploaded a picture of my palette with the shades numbered 1 through 9. I always use shades 1-3, 4-6, and 7-9 together. I guess I could use them in other combinations, but I feel like the palette was organized the way it was for a reason :P I only really use the last three shades for a more dramatic look, but even with that, it still looks very pretty and actually does have a smokey effect! the other six are great for more natural looks. this product was a mainstay in my travel makeup bag this past semester of college, when I slept over on campus at a friend's place and needed a quick but nice eye makeup look fit for a professional setting (I was observing at a school) all in one palette. between its versatility, convenience, and nice colors, this palette rocks!

I found this with a mascara combined for $3.75 at CVS. I have wanted to try a smoky eye but have been intimidated by the fact that I am fair with blonde hair and hazel eyes and the price. This seemed a good deal at the price even if it wasn't a hit. I really like this product and will be busting out a smokey eye on my upcoming cruise! It has three trios of dark grey/grey/mauve tones. They are intended to go from a more natural to a more intense smokey eye. The applicator is crap but nothing new there. I think this would be a good value even at full price! The colors seem nicely pigmented and can be built up to a very intense look if that is what you want.

I bought this eyeshadow for a tutorial on youtube, and am not in love with it. The colors seemed to look dull, not as pigmented as I hoped for, and when applied all seemed to look the same color. It also was relatively expensive. I have the wet n wild mojave mauves palette which I highly reccomend compared to this product, and it is a lot cheaper. This isn't the worst eyeshadow palette I've tried but for the price you can definitely do a lot better.BTW it did not make my eyes nor any of my friends eyes stand out.
