I used this after having semi-permanent 'hollywood' lashes applied and they ruined my natural lashes - So wouldnt advise them either.
I used it for a number of weeks along with wearing false daily glue on's as i had hardly any left and I was surprised that within about 1.5 weeks i didnt have to wear the false lashes nemore and was able to curl and apply mascara. It made my lashes thicker and slightly longer than they were before and therefore Is one of my beauty must haves.

I am surprised and pleased to say this stuff actually works. Is it miraculous? No. Do I have longer, fuller lashes in the 3-4 weeks I've been using this stuff? Definitely. My lashes are very sparse, and on the short side, and I definitely see a difference. It's most noticeable when I curl my lashes, I can see that I have more to curl. ;) I only use this at night, as it leaves a film over my lid and lashes that I wouldn't want there in the day. It's on the goopy side for sure. I find it very easy to apply with the curved wand. I still have a ton left after a month's time, and I will continue to use this. I found the best deal at Kroger, surprisingly enough.

For 14$, you should not expect miracles. Like others have said, I dont really think my lashes are growing exponentially, it just seems like they are because they are way stronger and healthier. I really like this serum, it delivers and its cheaper than things like latisse. The only gripe I have is why couldnt they just make this with a normal mascara spoolie? Also, I would only recommend using this at night. The packaging claims you can wear it under mascara, but once it dries, you get this weird spider web type clumping. Just put it on before you go to bed.

This isn't a bad serum--I like it better than Wet 'N Wild's. It definitely seems to help my lashes stay stronger and appear fuller. I wouldn't expect miracles from a $6 buck serum, but I will definitely keep using it for that little extra "oomph" it provides.

I've been using this lash boosting serum for a little over a month now. What I've noticed is that it does not miraculously make your lashes grow. It's more of a conditioner to help your lashes stay strong so you have less lash fallout, which is why it makes it APPEAR that you have more lashes, but in reality it's because less lashes are falling out so it looks like you have more. Realisticly, drugstores like walmart, target, & walgreens (where this product is sold at) wouldn't be allowed to sell products that you would need a special prescription for....like latisse. So in that sense, this by no means compares to what latisse would do. If your looking for actual lash growth, you will need something like latisse, because honestly this product doesn't quite do that. But as a lash conditioner, this product is great:)
**UPDATE:** If you're looking for an even better lash serum, try Dior's Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum. It's expensive, but it blows all other eyelash serums out of the water.

Great simple product that helps keep lashes healthy and does grow them out a bit to better potential. There isnt a miracle product for lashes in my opinion as it's just another think like eye creams advertising to magically make you look 20 years younger if you pay insane for them you know lol. There are tons of more itnense lash treatments on the market that cost an arm and a leg which I never would have tried as Im always been pretty lucky to have naturally long lashes however always wishes they were a bit fuller so I wouldn't have to pile on the mascara for volume. This lash serum is not only cheap but safe and gentle which is a huge concern everyone should have putting anything near your eyeball/sensitive eye area. It's no miracle product and cant say what it would do for someone whose lashes that need a lot more help but I think it is worth anyone trying as when I remember I use this nightly after washing my face and before going to bed. Simply conditions and if I do use it every single night for a few weeks add to giving my lashes a tad bit more volume, health, and flutter. Unfortunately doesnt prevent some stray lashes from growin in or in an odd direction which is the only annoying thing I have found lol. I also adore the application wand as it applies a great amount of product unlike most lash products that have driven me insane with mascara type bristle wands/brushes that all the product gets stuck in or wasting it being left behind in the opening of the tube. Highly recommend! :)

This serum really works. From what I understand only Latisse will grow more and thicker lashes, all other products on the market merely make your lashes stronger so they don't fall out as quickly. So for about $5 a month, my lashes don't fall out as quickly, thus they grow noticably longer. So much so, that my droopy eyelids aren't as noticable and I look more fresh-eyed every day. My lashes are longer, not neccesarily thicker, but heck, I'm very pleased for the price. I put this on my lashes every night after I wash off my makeup.
Try it and give it about six weeks, I think you'll be pleased with the results. I will buy this serum again...and again...and again.

I tried this out on a whim too, I have semi-small lashes (I am mixed with japanese=shorter eyelashes). I noticed that it was flaky the first couple of times I tried it. Like flaking during the day, it became a little awkward.
I did notice a difference of the lashes, especially my bottom ones. It sometimes did sting in application, and to use it as a base is impossible. You get spider lashes.
With the below comment I did actually have a period where literally my eye and eye sockets would hurt. It occurred maybe for a day or two, but it went away. There was a period when I stopped using it, lashes fell out left and right and my lashes went back to normal. There was a change and I did notice that eyelashes were a tad stronger and rarely feel off when trying to remove pesky mascara. I am considering using a more expensive brand of lash growth serum.

I tried this after one of my coworkers had some success with it. I used it for about a month, and I did notice some new growth, as well as making my lashes seem longer overall. I used it as a mascara base and at night on its own and it worked fine both ways (didn't cause the mascara to clump or anything). However, after the month my eyes/eyelids started to sting/hurt all the time. Not even just when the product was on, but a mild discomfort constantly. I stopped using the serum and the problems went away quickly. A few lashes fell out after discontinuing use, but nothing severe, and my eyelashes pretty much went back to normal. I would have probably kept using it if I hadn't had a reaction to it.

I bought this while out on a shopping splurge buying things for no reason (as we all do!), and I'm really glad I made that naughty purchase! I'm lucky to have naturally very long lashes so I had been thinking for a while that I should take more care of them. This does the trick fantastically!! I have been using the serum for between 2-3 weeks, once a day usually but sometimes twice when I'm being good, and have noticed a significant difference to my lashes. They are most certainly softer and stronger which is making curling and applying mascara so much easier! They are thicker too & haven't had any lashes fall out since i've been using it!! As for longer, I don't think so but I wasn't looking for that anyway. The overall look of my lashes has improved loads and I will definitely purchase again! (Oh and, I've not been using L'Oreal mascara!)

I REALLY enjoyed using this product. It worked very well. I could tell a difference in my lashes just by using it for a week. I wish it was cheaper though, and the serum is a little clumpy, but if you only use it at night it won't matter. It's definitely worth buying.

Purchased this item on a whim. Have not used it on eyelashes but have been using it on eyebrows and it really does work. Have used it for a couple of months and I can tell the difference - had some areas of sparseness in brows and those spots are not filled in and brows in general are fuller.

Even though I put this on my nightstand, I didn't use it every night. Maybe every other night I applied it, but I definitely didn't do it regularly, and I didn't use the mascara and primer during the day. Then about three weeks in while I was plucking my brows I noticed that my lashes were getting in the way of my tweezers. WTH??? I could not believe how much longer my lashes were. They aren't thicker that I can see, but they are definitely significantly longer. Unbelieveable. Now I'm using it twice a day to see what happens.
UPDATE: So now it's 4 months later. I've still been using it semi-regularly, maybe 3-4 times a week when I remember to slather it on before bed. I've got maybe 1/4 left in the tube. I still haven't tried the day mascara though. It's summer and I almost never wear any makeup in the summer. Well, I'd jack up my rating to a 10 if I could. My lashes are now thick AND long. I honestly didn't think I'd get both. When I noticed the length coming in I was very happy but a girl can't have everything in life. But my lashes are definitely thicker now as well. And most my my lashes have grown longer, too, not just the center ones.
The only thing is I can't help but wonder what the overall price will be. I mean, there's got to be some kind of side effect, right? Maybe in a couple of years my lashes will turn grey. I mean, what is this stuff made of? It's not on the tube and I'm almost afraid to ask. But heck, it WORKS and it's CHEAP (relatively). I see other lash boosters selling for $150 and you don't need to spend that much. Just go to CVS and pick this up for less than $20.

First let my say, I received this (along with the double extend mascara) in a gift bag from a make-up show I attended. I wouldn't have purchased it b/c my lashes are pretty decent to start with. But who wouldn't want more eyelashes:-p so I did the 4 week challenge. I applied the serum 2x a day and also used the accompaning mascara. I honestly did not noticed any "significant" change=(.... but if you read the fine print it says "lashes appear multiplied with daily application of mascara and twice daily application of serum" ...Well of course my lashes appear fuller with mascara!....whose doesn't? As far as seeing more lashes, I didn't actually count them but they look the same as always w/o mascara on;-)!!

Ever since Shu Uemura announced that they were pulling their products out of U.S. stores (they will be available online for U.S. customers, but that's not convenient for me), I was hellbent on looking for a replacement for Shu Uemura's Lash Repair. It's a whitish serum formula that you apply to the eyelashes prior to curling and adding mascara. That plus the Shu Uemura eyelash curler were the two things that made my stick-straight Asian lashes actually curl up and stay for a decent amount of time. It also helped prevent my eyelashes from falling out by making them softer and stronger.
It is NOT a replacement for Latisse or eyelash extensions. The biggest difference you'll see is that mascara application and curling is easier on the eyelashes--fewer lashes falling out, softer and longer curl throughout the day. Think of it as conditioner for eyelashes. Do not expect it to make your eyelashes longer or anything. I use Maybelline Define-A-Lash or Lash Discovery.
I've tried several products, but I'm surprised to say that this newbie drugstore brand is doing the job! The application wand doesn't have bristles, so I was afraid it was too much. But once it dried I noticed it had the same effect as Lash Repair, plus it's only 2/3 of Shu Uemura's price.
I noticed in other reviews that people are curling their eyelashes before they apply the serum, or they don't wait until the serum dries before putting on mascara. Applying the serum should be the first thing you do to the lashes, and you must let them dry.
I'm definitely buying this again... it works just as well as Lash Repair and it's even cheaper and easier to get!
