I had high hopes for this foundation, but was very disappointed. I bought the lightest shade, which looked great, but oxidized after a few hours. It looked blotchy after a few hours, and slid all over my face. It just didn't work for me. I used a brush, beauty blender and my fingers. Even after using a light setting powder, it still felt slick and didn't want to set. I also broke out with 2 huge acne knots from this, which is very abnormal for my 40 year old skin. The foundation has a scent to it, which I believe broke me out. I will be returning this foundation.

It really sucks that Loreal animal tests. I try not to buy to much from them unless it's a crazy holy grail product that nobody else makes. Hence why this doesn't get full lippies. I found this before I knew they animal tested. Tried to buy other anti aging foundations after and kept comming back to this one. It looks seriously high end, photographs well, hides wrinkles and looks luminous. I think it actually looks better than some high end products I've used really. It's moisturizing, and unless used w a dry finishing primer and setting spray oily skinned people may want to stay away from it. I find that a simple makeup wedge sponge or your fingers is the best application. Truly foundation brushes just mash makeup into your pores anyway but it doesn't look right w a foundation brush. Some people don't see a difference in their skin using this product, but I actually do. After a week of using this my skin is moisturized so well that my skin does look smoother. All in all I do have to say it is a drug store gem as I said looks better than a lot of high end foundations, just have to get past the animal cruelty guilt. Lol!

I am really loving this foundation! <3
I normally wear more expensive foundations - Lancome, Estee Lauder, MAC, etc..... but I was traveling over Christmas to see family, and my Lancome foundation leaked everywhere in my makeup bag. By the time I noticed, it was 9:00pm and the only place open was a Drugmart across the street from our hotel. Seeing as how I needed foundation first thing the next morning for a full day of activities planned, I figured I'd just see what I could make work for a few days until I could return home and hit Macy's to replace my Lancome foundation.
I know the Lancome company owns L'oreal, and a lot of their products are very similar, so I focused on L'oreal. I liked the idea of the anti-aging serum in this foundation, including the Pro-Retinol A, the vitamin C and the added hydration (for my fine lines!).
The color range seemed good, with a nice selection of neutral, pink and yellow undertones. I am NC15-20 and I chose the color "144 - Light Ivory". It is an absolutely PERFECT match. I love it!
The next thing I noticed was the lightweight feel. A lot of "anti-aging" foundations feel heavy, including my Lancome foundation. I figured it was just to be expected. But the light feel of this foundation is wonderful! It feels very soft and creamy going on, and yet still feels lightweight ....... like my skin can breathe. Beautiful feel and texture. Lovely satin finish. I applied it using just my fingertips (including around my eyes), and set it with a light dusting of Lancome Absolue powder in the color "Absolue Peche". Beautiful finish!
I also noticed that the color stays true all day, and it wears very well. I use an oil control primer on my nose (because it tends to get oily during the day), but no primer on the rest of my face. I wanted to see what the serum in this foundation can do! :)
It kept my face looking beautiful all day, and really does seem to blur fine lines and make my skin look softer and smoother.
In a nutshell ....... I loved this foundation so much that I continue to wear it! I never did go to Macy's to replace my old foundation. And I don't plan to! I actually like this foundation better! REALLY happy and satisfied with this purchase! 5 Lippies!! :)

This is not worth $15 at the drugstore. Looks dry and cakey no matter what i do..so disappointing. True match line is better and maybellines fit me line is better.

Even if a product is a bit of a dud, I usually end up finishing the bottle. This one, I tried in earnest for about two months and finally concluded it was just not working.

I found this really hard to blend, and the effect was pretty chalky. At least on my skin, this effect was MORE aging than other foundations I've tried. It also seemed to catch onto every baby hair on my face and exaggerate it. As the product wore on throughout the day, it would come off easily in patches if I touched my face or rubbed my nose.

Strangely, with how chalky I found this to be, I think this would be better for someone with younger, more oily skin vs. someone with dryer skin usually associated with mature skin.

That being said, I actually like the bottle design. I like that the pump gives you a little more control with how much product you release (vs. the kind that you just pour out onto your hand). I also thought the packaging looked a little more lux than the typical drugstore foundadtion. Too bad the product itself just didn't work.

Like the pump, but that's all. Looked dry and chalky at first. A few hours later, I could see every pore on face. Unflattering mess.

I love this product but hate the pump design. Unless you break the pump portion off and use a Q Tip to get the bottom third of the contents, it is wasted. The pump does not get anywhere near all of the product out. I have had to go through this process with two bottles now and each one lasted me a good three weeks past what it would have if I had just thrown it out. During this time the product gets thicker too without being properly covered, so not ideal. Yet who wants to waste a third of every purchase? This is not environmentally or value- added packaging, much too wasteful. I would rather a tube.

I really wanted to like this product! My favorite foundation is by Lancome, so I thought that L'Oreal products (since L'Oreal owns Lancome) might be comparable. This foundation was ok, but it doesn't beat my Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24Hr.

The bottle is nice and the pump is great. The foundation has a sort of thick, mousse-like consistency but it does not feel heavy when applied. I'm very pale and I always buy the lightest shade available, so I got this in shade 143. When I started applying this to my face with a stippling brush it looked too pale, but after about 5 minutes it blended into my skin quite nicely. In comparison to my Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24Hr and a Neutrogena foundation I've been testing (Shine Control foundation), this foundation didn't give as nice of a finish.

After 5 hours of wear (and I did use a primer) I started to notice that I was getting oily around my nose and on my cheeks. I used a blotting sheet to soak up the oil and it took my foundation with it leaving me with some patches of no makeup on my nose and cheeks (not obvious, but I could tell when looking up close). I also noticed that before the 5 hour wear mark, whenever I touched my face some of the product came off, so I guess this never set really well even though I use a setting powder after applying. I guess if you want a lightweight foundation and only need a few hours of wear this would be alright. (Make sure not to touch your face too much or the product will rub off.) Probably better for girls with dry skin.

Overall:
PROS:
-lightweight
-no noticeable fragrance
-light to medium coverage
-looks dewy
-a sheer foundation, providing some coverage for a healthy fresh-faced look

CONS:
-didn't set even with setting powder
-wipes off the face if bumped or blotted
-starts looking oily within 5 hours

So last minute thoughts: After 12 hours, I took another look at the foundation, and the finish looks pretty good. I am a little oily, but its not excessive and the patchiness I referred to above is hardly noticeable. I think this is a nice foundation if you have dry/combination skin and/or if you want to look like you aren't wearing makeup. It does even out my skin tone and match really well!

UPDATE: I wore this for a full day 10-12 hours in 90 degree weather without any touch-ups or blotting, and it held up really well. At the end of the day I had some oiliness around the sides of my nose but the rest of my makeup still looked great! I have learned that I need to start by applying a generous amount of my Becca primer (patting/pressing this into the skin rather the rubbing it) and then apply this foundation with my Real Techniques expert face brush instead of a stippling brush. It makes a world of difference.

I usually prefer BB cream for everyday use. But for more medium to full coverage, most BB creams just don't cut it. This liquid foundation is fairly light in texture and yet allows medium (and above) coverage. This line offers many shades from light-dark so even if you can't find the exact shade that matches your skin, you can probably mix your own. For me the most important thing I look for in a foundation is the naturalness of the result and that it does not cause acne, since my skin can be very sensitive. So far, I like how it looks on my face. Overall, for this price I‘d say this one is not to be missed.
