I have this eye shadow in 'pearl' and it's unbelievable! It's so pigmented and blends beautifully and the colour is gorgeous. I've used many high end brands in eye shadows like YSL and Urban Decay and I can barely notice a difference in quality. I can't believe it only cost £1 as I prefer it to most of my £10 eye shadows.

These eye shadows aren't just good for £1, they're good for any price! In a blind test, you'd never know the different between these and a higher end product. The colour payoff is outstanding, you get quite a lot of product for the money and they don't fall apart with one brush sweep, like some cheap eye shadows. They're really blendable, and best of all they don't crease by the end of the day. The packaging is surprisingly good for the money too and they're sturdy enough to put in your handbag without fear of it falling everywhere. I'll be buying loads more of these, and for a pound each I won't even have to feel guilty!

I'm definitely impressed by MUA eyeshadows. The pigmentation is good, they blend easily, the fallout isn't massive. This is one of the best bargains on the market. The only problem is the matte shades but that's an issue for many pricier brands too.

I adore these eyeshadows, they come in a fantastic range of colours both matte and pearl, bright and neutral. They are incredibly pigmented and last for hours. But the best part? These bad boys are a quid. One pound. I don't know how I only have 3 of these, I'm amazed I don't have a draw full!
I adore them. Especially great for flash-in-the-pan trends - colours you know you probably won't be wearing next season.

For the price, these eyeshadows are so cheap I would probably buy more. However I do not think they are comparable to the high end brands at all. The texture is quite chalky, and I have the matt black shade which isn't pigmented at all. I have to really build up the colour to get a deep black, so I think the colours are quite hit and miss. But for the price, really can't complain!

I absolutely adore each and every one of these eyeshadows. They're extremely pigmented and are 100x better than any of the other eyeshadows that I have ever tried, including high-end brands.
They're affordable enough to purchase colours which can produce everything from a nude/natural look, to a very dramatic eye.
Both matte and pearl shades performed well, with minimal creasing and smudging (although I highly recommend purchasing their eye primer to use with the shadows to make it last all day and night!)
Couldn't be happier with my purchases, will definately try to purchase more colours and pallettes. And if you're not sure, for £1 each - why not?

I have been really impressed with the majority of the MUA shadows I bought. Namely no, 11 (a matte, neutral brown) which I often use on my eyebrows and for a daytime smokey eye, no. 16 (another matte, pinky nude that works well as a subtle highlighter) no. 11 (a shimmery, bronzed brown that it beautiful and wearable) and no. 12 (a shimmery brown, with multidimensional blue/green duo-chrome)

A few of the shades were disappointing, some seemed to lack pigment and a few of the pearl shades were overly frosty for my liking, but overall I love this range. For £1 an eyeshadow the value is fantastic, the packaging seems robust too- so far all the eyeshadows have stayed intact despite being throw around my make-up bag. I will definitely be repurchasing the 4 that I mentioned above, overall one of my favourite finds this year.

These are a bit hit and miss quality-wise, and it depends a lot on the texture you pick. Most of the singles, as well as most of the 12 shadow palettes and the quads, consist of what MUA calls Pearl finish - shimmery/frosty, similar to MAC's frosts. These feel very buttery going on, but I think they can look and feel a bit too cheap/frosty/silicone-y if you pick some of the lighter shades, so it is a matter of taste. However, there are some real gems to be found. I think shade number 11 is amazing, it is a gorgeous medium tan beige bronze that makes a great lid shade. Out of the palettes my favourite is Heaven and Earth, which consists of earthy shades. Strangely enough, I usually wear primer with my shadows, but if I skip the primer, the buttery texture of these shadows actually makes them stay on my oily lids better than any other brand.
The mattes of the line are obviously of a completely different texture, and I would say they feel like even better quality. The real shocker is shade 19. Wow. It is a matte medium/dark brown and is the perfect crease shade. Most brands that are a lot more expensive than MUA struggle with pigmentation on matte shades, and most drugstore brands struggle even more, so it is really unbelievable that this is shadow is actually the most pigmented and soft matte brown shade I have ever found.
Finally, their trios have a completely different texture to either of the above. I think these are baked, in any case they are still shimmery/shiny, but a lot less frosty. The texture is much drier and more lightweight. I think these are the best of all the MUA shadows and are very comparable to high end ones. All the trios have interesting shades, I would say my favourite is Chocolate Box, consisting of a light pink, a dusty purple and a chocolate brown.

I bought Shade 20 matte, which is black, and Shade 1 pearl, which is white. I love them, the colours blend so well and the pigmentation is really great for the price (£1 each).

I got the glitterball palette and I've used it everyday since I got it! They really are fabulous for every day wear and at £4 you can't go wrong. There are some lovely shades, the one I've used most is a dark brown shimmery one which goes fab with black for a smokey eye! The colours are fairly pigmented, obviously not as good as mac shadows but what can you expect for the price. At such a low price you can afford to get lots of colours to play around with instead of paying £13 for one, what can you do with one shadow really? I would say they are just as good, maybe better than urban decay shadows! They also layer well and I like the look of the palette, it doesn't look cheap at all. Would definitely recommend to people who like to experiment and play about with shadows :) Will be buying more!

For £1 a pop, these can't be beaten and come in a range of colours. I own quite a few of these but the ones I use regularly are Shade 9 Pearl (a bright purple) and Shade 13 Pearl (a near black with purple undertones).

Shade 9 is a bit crumbly, but for that price you can't really complain.

Shade 13 is very dark and I've only worn it as a night time shade but blends really well considering the price.

I'm reviewing Shade 6 - Pearl which is a bright green shade. Maybe a sea green? Hard to describe, but rest assured it's a lovely colour. Anyway, I find that the pigmentation is fantastic considering the price. It's not chalky at all. For me, it goes on great. Being a 'pearl' there's shimmer, but it's in no way frosty.

I like to pair this shade with purple - gives a mermaid effect :) As for the packaging, it's very basic as you'd expect for a £1 but mine doesn't feel too flimsy. What can I say? It does the job. I'd buy this product again if I ever finish the pan.

I've just bought two pallettes of eyeshadow by MUA - one trio called Eden (pictured above) and one pallette called Dusk til Dawn.

The trio cost £2.50 and has three raised shadows in gold, olive and a slightly darker green, all with a shimmer finish. The darkest shade is really pigmented but the other two less so. Stillm you can build the colours and they are a bargain for £2.50

The pallette has a range of colours and all the ones I've tried so far are amazing, really pigmented .

I've just played with these in the house so far so can't comment on how well they last but they are such a bargain I am really pleased so far.

Really, really impressed with these and considering they're just a pound each, the quality is not quite high end but it ain't far off. I bought 6 of them, 5 in pearl shades and 1 in matt. The Purpley Blue one is just beautiful and I'm going to try that with my MUFE #92 when it arrives.

I might try depotting them into a palette too - at this price, I can buy the lot and the empty palette will cost more than the contents. Each one is 2g so lots of product and it has a lovely creamy powder texture that goes on lovely and stays on with a primer. All in all, mega impressed for the money and can splash out on the lot to try some new colours. Brilliant bargain in the true sense of the word because they're not tat at all like most things are at that price point.

Have posted up a piccie of my 6 along with a quick swatch so you can have a look.

I have this in Shade 19? A matte dark brownish black. I actually use this to fill in my brows because i find it hard to get the right shade of brown- black for my eyebrows without making them look too harsh. This does a great job. Has a bit off fallout if I'm not careful with it. Great pigmentation too and has a smooth, not chalky texture.

I absolutely LOVE these eyeshadows.
I have 3 of them: Shades 1, 7 & 11 , all of which are beautiful colours with long staying power.
Shade 1- This is a lovely ivory shadow with lots of sparkle in it, i use this mainly on my inner corner but it can also be used as a cheek highlight! Overall, it works really well and blends easily. The only downpoint that i have with this is that there is too much glitter and therefore the colour kindof gets lost when applied with a flatshader or blending brush.
Shade 7&11- I was given these two eyeshadows as part of a xmas present and i love using them to give my eyes some colour at night or just using a tiny bit to add a pop of shimmer on the lower lashline. Again, they blend beautifully and are cheap enough to get the whole collection!

Overall, im sure ill be buying plently more of these eyeshadows as well as other products from the MUA line.
£1, what a bargain!!

I have 3 of these eye shadows and I have two very different opinions.
Firstly Shade 9:
A purple/electric blue duo-chrome which looks gorgeous in the pan. On the eyes it looks more warm purple with red than electric blue purple which is beautiful. I love wearing this as a wash of colour for a night out across the lid and under the lash line with false lashes and nude lipstick.
Goes on amazingly, feels buttery soft and can be layer from sheerer to really opaque which I love because sheer shadows look great for a wash of colour.
With primer didn't have creasing problems on a night out. Overall I'd give 4/5 out of 5.
However I bought the neutral pearl shades 1 and 2 thinking they'd be beautiful light colours I could use for highlighting, inner corners and all over wash of colour. Same buttery formula but I find that they both don't work on the lids at all. Too sheer and even when left sheer they crease on me with a primer and powder underneath within 2-3 hours when other good quality cheaper shadows will crease more 6-8 hours plus.
Work okay on inner corners and highlights but not long lasting.
Wish they had worked better for me because they don't have shimmer more a shine to them which is hard to find with cheaper brands.
Shade 1 is a warmer more yellowy creamy colour whereas Shade 2 is a cooler colour with an icy, blue purple tone.
