I've used Estee Lauder eye creams for my whole adult life, and I really see no need for this. I've used it off and on and for several weeks at a time. If their eye creams are so great I wouldn't know why anyone would ever need this product. Sure, it feels good, but that's about it, for me at least.

It's fine.

I was looking for a moisturizing, anti-ageing product for my eyes. I don't have problems with dark circles or puffiness; I barely have fine lines (and I'd like to keep it that way). I wanted something for nighttime use only, as I use something with sunscreen during the day. So I bought this.

It's fine. I won't repurchase, because I'm not convinced it's doing anything more than any number of other eye products have done. But, it didn't irritate my skin. It absorbs quickly, and is not greasy. It moisturizes. But for the price, I think I'd like something more noticeable.

PS, I actually bought a full-size jar of this stuff (without having tried a sample).

Can't say it's a good product to get skin around eyes 'fresh look'. I mean, I didn't see it worked for me.
Once I accindentally use a bit too much and I got eye irritation for two weeks: my eyes keep producing quite a lot gound in day time, and becoming worse when I woke up in the morning. Made me wonder what kind of chemical they put in it.

This eye cream is great for hydration purposes, my eye area was silky smooth even after the first night. I haven't noticed any improvements concerning dark circles, but it does help for puffiness and to restore the condition of my skin in the eye area. It's not exactly what I'm looking for, because I also want to brighten my dark circles, but apart from that, it is a great eye cream, and I have to say one of the best I have tried.

Mmm.. what can I say. This is an eye creme. I put it on as part of my routine but haven't noticed any improvement of the condition of the skin around my eyes. I like how it sticks to your finger quite easily rather than you having to 'grab' the product. But as some users have commented, I do also prefer tubes for hygiene reasons.

I love this product! The consistency is great and it really does work on puffiness and dark circles. It's a great eye cream and I will continue to repurchase when I run out!

I'm 21, and have been using a variety of EL products for a few years.

I recently acquired this eye serum, and decided to see if there were any benefits.

I 've been using it for a few months, and haven't noticed much change in moisture or darkness around the eyes.

I understand this product can be an irritant to some others, and I found that it would clog my pore and cause white heads just outside the eye area (could be because I put too much on and I'm young).

Compared to the night face serum, I haven't notice this product do too much for the cost. My eye area feels softer...but that can be accomplished with many cheaper products.

Bottom line: Excessive marketing that can't be backed up practically.

This is useless. I didn't buy it, it was part of a gift with 2 purchases. For a start the jar packaging means that not only is it unhygienic, any active ingredients will break down once the contents are exposed to the air(which is why I only buy products in tubes or with a pump). That aside it didn't really do anything.Feels quite silky going on then.... nothing!! I asked the girl on the estee lauder counter why the ordinary night repair can't be used around the eyes and she looked rather vague and said that "the company" dosen't recommend this they have seperate eye creams for the eyes, yes to get us to spend more money.I've nothing against a good formulated eye cream, but if your ordinary moisturiser does the trick and is better formulated than many so called "eye creams"why not use it. This in my opinion is a poorly formulated eye product, you'd be as well using a good face serum for eyes followed by a moisturiser with sunscreen (day) or night cream (evening)People can argue till the cows come home about eye creams but personally the skin around myeyes has never been better since I STOPPED using eye creams and just use face products. If I ever buy an eye product again(which I doubt) it certainly won't be this one!

WORTHLESS!!! That's all I can say about this eye treatment. I don't usually buy anything from Estee Lauder particularly skin care as I think Clinique (which Lauder owns) is far better in both departments (incldng m-u.) I've since seen this in Marshalls And TJ Maxx if that's of any hint as to where this is going. It's sort of a gel-cream-serum in it's texture. It goes on with easy slip and no pulling. I believe it has caffeine in it so it should reduce puffiness in the morning, but that's about it. This did nothing to soften or decrease the crows feet (and there aren't much around my eyes.) It sinks in rather fast, but leaves no protective residue behind. I like a bit of something left behind in an eye cream. It has a batch of ingredients as long as your leg, but don't ask me what they do as I've noticed no improvement of any kind and used this day/night for over a month. Save your money and stay away!

Okay, picked this up with the 3.4 oz ANRSC which I love!!! However, the eye serum wasn't that great. I just finised the jar after about a month of continous use, AM and PM. While I did not wake up with puffy or dry eye area, I don't feel it is worth the price. I liked the way it felt going on, but the jar and spatula packaging could have been re thought. Didn't care for that at all. For the price, results and the claims, I expected more. But since I do not hve crows feet maybe it did all it could do. I love most other EL products, but this is a no go for me, I will not re purchase.

WOW at the negatives. i think this is a really good eye cream! the dark circle is starting to lighten and the lines are starting to fade little by little. although i do not like the package at all! :(

EDIT 11 jan 2012
if i put too much under myeye, it stings but it only stings for couple of seconds after i put it on. so i start dabbing it only where my lines are and not take too much from it.

The Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Complex (for the face) worked like a miracle on my face so I assumed that the eye serum would work the same, but boy was I wrong!

The first night I used it the skin around my eyes stung. I told myself that it could be that my skin just needs time to get used to the rich cream, so I left it alone. The next night the pain got worse, and by the third night I just had to wash it off. I have no idea why this stung so badly, if it were my eyes I can at least understand it, but it was the skin around my eyes that hurt.

Other than the pain it didn't really do any permanent damage to my skin. I'm disappointed because the facial serum is my HG. In the end I gave this away to someone who loves it. I guess it's just not for me.

Dreaded crows feet!after applying this within the next day I noticed how it softened the line and didint look as predominant as it did before,I can't imagine what it will look like in 2 weeks will definitely by the full version lovely stuff!

I'm 28 & this is my 1st eye cream I have ever bought. I don't have any wrinkle yet, no fine line whatsoever. Just mild dark circle under eyes. I was quite a happy girl then. One day, realizing I'm nearing 30, figured it was time to start using some mild eye serum/cream to protect my eyes. Didn't try a sample & confidently just bought a full jar. Been using it diligently AM & PM since 26 july 2011. Never skip a day no matter how lazy I was on some nights. After giving it a try for about more or less 3 months now.. guess what??!! OMG! MY UNDER EYE HAS FINE LINES NOW!!! Seriously now I am stressed out everyday when I look into the mirror! Made me hate myself & so so so regret why did I even buy this eye cream which destroyed my eye instead of preventing lines/wrinkles!! Not some cheap stuff also, but money is not the biggest problem coz hey.. Money can be earned again.. But my eyes!!!! They're damaged permanently!! Worst part is that I wanted to love this product that I already bought 2 more jar (from airports while I was traveling coz it's duty free, cheaper) Now I look at them with hate & anger that I so much wanna flush them down the toilet!
During the 1st two months of using it, my skin was just ok. Not very moisturizing & not dry, like nothing happen. I have to admit that I kinda like it coz it absorbed instantly & was not oily coz I was scared of milia forming. But later on after about 60 days, day by day, my eyes became more & more puffier. Even a friend asked me if I cried the nite before! Still I continued using & NOW permanent lines have formed :( Finally I stopped using it! Been 5 days now & too late! Damage is done! Please guys, don't make the same mistake that I did. Now I'm searching for new eye creams that will help me deal with my newly formed fine lines! YES! Thank to Estee Lauder! And now I'm smarter, I'll get samples for like 2-3 months coz my skin proved of a later-reaction. It was not immediate like 1-2 weeks of use. Girls if you are reading this.. please beware now :(

I got the sample and have tried it for a week now and the product really stings my eye area.
And i noticed that after using it, the skin around my eyes became more dry and wrinkly.
Huge disappointment!

terrible- luckily i only got a sample size, i applied the product to my eye area and it initially felt cooling, after a few seconds this turned into quite an intense stinging which really freaked me out so i tried to take off any excess product, but my eyes were already puffy and red and sore/dry, by the next morning i had a lumpy dry area of skin on my eyelid that has still not disappeared after a week!

This is the only eye cream that I have used that has done anything for me! I have very fine lines under my eyes and I'm extremely paranoid about them. So me being very critical about my eye area and actually seeing a difference made with use of this product after having tried so many has to mean HG for me! I love the texture and the scent of it, It's a gel/cream like consistency and spreads very smoothly and absorbs into the skin into a semi matte finish. It gives the eye area a glow-hydrated look without the shine. I do find that it isn't hydrating enough though (as it is a serum), but this goes for most eye serums for me. I apply the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair eye to my eye area first and after 3 minutes, I apply Kiehl's Avocado Eye Treatment to really moisturise it. I use this morning and night. This combo is current HG eye treatment for me. My only gripe will be the packaging and the need for a little spatula. It's a little annoying having to need to use it and clean after. The squeeze tube the samples come in are so much more convenient as well as sanitary without the extra step of using the spatula although a less glamorous looking packaging method. But that aside, this is a great eye cream and I will continue to purchase!

After I put this on, I felt the skin around my crow's feet stinging. The next day, my crow's feet looked like much, much deeper wrinkles than they had been before. I believe this actually ruined my skin.
