I have the BB Antigua and the Maui for a pop of color on the cheeks over bronzer. Love them both!

So I became a little obsessed with getting either this or Antigua, and eventually went to the mall to check them out. I decided to focus on Maui as a springy coral-pink pick-me-up kind of blush, and forget about Antigua although it probably has its merits too. Put off by the price, I hunted through all of Sephora for a dupe, and to my surprise did not find one. Everything that was the cheerful corally pink I was looking for was either matte or way too shimmery. Maui has just enough shimmer. So I reluctantly shelled out the money and got Maui.

It is nice, a high-quality product in a big compact, lovely high-pigment color, yadda yadda. But, it IS just blush. So for me (neither flush with money nor a big blush person) it was probably a bit wasteful. I'm not sure I get the hype over this, because it's not a bronzer in any way (so why is it labeled as such?), and if you looked hard enough you probably could find a dupe for less. But it's pretty and nice quality, so sure, 4 lippies.

I used this as a blush and I absolutely love it! It gives you the perfect flush. I don't think it's a bronzer but it definitely illuminated my skin and made me feel beautiful. I definitely want to try Aruba and Antigua.

It's a beautiful pink-coral color, give the skin this natural tan look and using the normal bronzing powder and then applying this illuminating bronzes gives you the most natural, glowing beautiful tan in your skin, I absolutely love this product, I also used sometimes as a blush and works perfect very natural.

i am on the fence about this product. i dont absolutely NOT like it but i am not sure it would be a great addition. online it looks more like a dusty mauve mac blushbaby type of shade but in real life, its really bright pink/coral! its definitely a much better version of orgasm. i cannot wear orgasm, its just all kinds of glitter craziness and the color didnt flatter my NC42 skin. this is really pretty on but i find that its just a tad bit too RED. it almost can look like i have rosacea on my cheeks! i use this as a blush, i cant imagine sweeping this all over my face. it was very dusty on first application but thats ok, i just blew it away. theres a ton of product for the price so that was a plus. the compact is absolutely beautiful classic bobbi brown. i usually lean more towards peachy colors, like nars gina, illamasqua lover, etc. this is the pinkest blush i own by far. i will try to make it work but using it as less of a blush and more like a highlight and with a lighter hand. it has a nice golden sheen, no obvious glitter. we shall see :)

I tried this on when I was at Nordstrom and I didn't get it then because I thought it was too shimmery. But after reading the reviews here, I decided to try it again. The first time I tried it on, I had no makeup on but the second time, I had my usual makeup and wow, what a difference. This definitely gives a beautiful healthy glow without that obvious shimmer. I use this together with BB Bronzer in Medium or Dark with the Maui as a blush for that hint of colour and the result is a wonderful 'flushed' look. Very expensive but this will last me a long time.

Gorgeous. Definitely more of a blusher than a bronzer because the colour is a pinky-coral. It has a fine, blendable texture and although it's shimmery, this isn't over the top - I have very oily skin so avoid too much extra shine. In that respect, it is infinitely superior to Orgasm, which other reviewers have compared it to. For me, Orgasm is unnaturally glittery; Maui just has glowy shimmer. Maui is also a better look than Orgasm on my skin tone - which is pale but olive toned. Stunning.

UPDATE: OK, I can honestly say, I haven't reached for this in months. I don't know why, I think I love the look of Clarins bronzer and Nars blush (Amour, Taj Mahal) better on my skin then this. I also think the finish of those are better then this...sorry.....

How can this look so amazing on anyone? It really looks amazing on my skin, whether it's lighter before summer or if it has sun on it. It's super blending and does have a fair amount of sheen but is beautiful.

I use more as a blush then a bronzer.

Totally worth the buy, I got it at Murale. You get Shoppers Optimum Points with it.

I use this across my face as if it was a natural tan and it looks amazing. Love the texture and color on my skin, not too sparkly, but really makes the skin look healthy and glowy.

LOVE this! On my NC40 skin, this shade isn't a bronzer at all; it's a NARS Orgasm dupe on me, but more finely-milled and with a much smoother finish. The beautiful coral-pink shade livens up my face, and its subtle golden shimmer gives a glowy sheen to the skin. I took one lippie off because it doesn't seem to last as long on my skin as my regular blushes (from any line, including BB), and the compact is a bit clunky. But overall, this is something I would definitely replace if the need arises.

This is a truly gorgeous bronzer. I wouldn't really describe it as a bronzer, its more of an illuminating blush. It has such a smooth and beautiful texture to it and it has the perfect amount of shimmer. It really makes my skin look like it's glowing. It's a peachy color with a tiny bit of shimmer to it. I generally only put this on my cheeks. I also like the packaging. It's very classic and classy looking. I love the big mirror inside the compact as well.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I agree with the Orgasm's older sister description below. I too use it as a blush, not a bronzer. I don't mind them calling it a bronzer, since it does give you a sunkissed glow, and because of this the amount of product you get is so much bigger, so it's actually very cheap for a high end blush.
I have medium lightly tanned skin, around BB 4.25 at the moment, and this gives me a gorgeous sexy coral pink tropical glow. It has shimmer, but trust me, it's minimal. I hate sparkly cheeks for day wear, which is one of the reasons I found Orgasm to be a bit much. This has no over the top shimmer problem for me. It is however rather pigmented, so I feel I need to use a *very* light hand, and make sure to tap the brush a lot in order to get this to look like a natural glow. But that said, I do like my blush to look natural and glowy, so it might not be a problem if you like it to be more visible. Compared to Antigua, on my skintone, I find I can apply Antigua freely without it being too much, whereas I've got to be more careful with this one.

Don't let the name "illuminating bronzing powder" fool you, Maui is not a bronzer at all, like others below have mentioned. Illuminating yes, bronzer no. For that reason, it is nice that BB made a product that isn't straight bronzer, but more like an illuminating blush. Like others have said, Maui is similiar to NARS Orgasm, but without the extra shimmer. The shimmer in Maui is subtle and more sophisticated.
Maui gives me a nice, beachy glow and gives me a slightly sunkissed look, not a look that screams I've been roasting in the sun all day, but a slightly heated/flushed look.
For the amount of product you get, it will last forever. Love the timeless black BB packaging as well.

I bought this blush (bronzer) along with Bali about 18 months ago when they first came out and I sort of forgot about them until this winter. I got re-inspired by Bobbi Brown products and dug them out of the drawer and I am very glad that I did! LIke others have described, this blush is similar to NARS orgasm but with far less gold shimmer. I also don't really consider this blush "coral" as some have said. In a lot of way this is like NARS deep throat but deeper and more pigmented. Which is perfect for me.

I have yet to try this as a bronzer since I use Bali or NARS laguna but I might try it all over just to see how a pink bronzer would look. I can now see that it would look great in a natural, beachy way. Can't wait to try it again with a tan!

As others have mentioned, this isn't really a bronzer - it's more of an illuminating blush that will make you look radiant and healthy. Maui is a pink-toned coral with gold shimmer (enough to add glow to the cheeks while still being office-friendly). This is pricey but you do get a decent amount of product and it really is a go-to colour whenever I need a pick-me-up. Maui is a slightly brighter colour than Antigua, and is a better option than Antigua if you have medium toned skin.

I picked this up almost imme. after falling in love with the pinker version of this, Antigua (still the most perfect, subtle pink-with-tan, ever!). Corals typically are hard for me to wear (pull too much yellow; with my olive undertone and surface ruddiness, I just look orangey with a coral and typically prefer the "cooling" effect on my cheeks of a pink/mauve/plum). However, I'd call this a yellow-pink with tan, not so much a coral. It wears very soft and the color is buildable. It is slightly warmer and brighter than Antigua, with a golden shimmer as opposed to the barely perceptible champagne shimmer in Antigua. This is like Antigua with a tropical note. Def. an understated, wearable coral. What I wanted NARS O, MAC Springsheen, and the plethora of other ridiculous, gaudy corals to be. The closest comparison I could find to this was my MAC Peachykeen, which is a bronzier, peachier version of this, but on my skin the difference wasn't that obvious, Maui just wore in such a softer manner that I haven't touched my Peachykeen since. Right now, my skin doesn't have enough of a tan to carry this off, but it is still wearable for a nice warmer tone when my typical pinks are just too cool or too bright. I absolutely recommend, highly! If you were turned off by other corals in the past, I'd give this a shot. The coral shimmer isn't as noticeable as one would guess, it's just a glow and prevents it from wearing entirely matte. The shimmer is gold, but it doesn't wear yellow, just warms it up and prevents the shimmer from being cool (as some shimmers can look like a sliver stripe). On a brighter day, for a warmer effect, this is fantastic, almost a baby pink coral (less intense guava). I'm always between shimmer or no-shimmer, and this is the perfect, happy medium.

Bronzer? Nah...
Incredibly pretty gold shimmered pink coral blush that applies beautifully, looks amazing, lasts all day and at 9 grams for $65NZD is pretty good value (considering a Revlon blush is $30+ and about a third of the size)? YES.
Silky, finely milled powder (yep, there is a bit of dust kicked up when you sweep a brush over it but with that much product, who really cares?) that gives a soft pink glow to cheeks (or wherever else one may like to apply it) packaged in a chic, sleek round black case that latches closed properly and has a very generous mirror in the lid. A MILLION TIMES YES!
Faultless. Beautiful. Better than Nars Orgasm. Flattering. Gorgeous.
I don't usually say this, but go and buy this immediately, LOL!

Holy Mary mother of God this is amazing. I have Sephora to thank for this. I've never found something like this that could make my skin glow yet look so perfectly rosy. This is an instantaneous HG. I can see myself wearing this for years. It looks like the most darling, peony colored blush but on your skin it looks so warm. It's the most pleased I've ever been with a powdery product containing shimmer. This will not make you look as though you fell face first into a bucket of glitter. This will make you look like you only prettier.

I love this! I had NARS Orgasm years ago, but I ended up giving it away because I couldn't handle the gold sparkles on my face. I was also going through an anti-pink phase. But lately, I've been yearning for that perfect peachy pink color sans glitter, so I went from beauty brand to beauty brand looking for a more matte Orgasm dupe. I was unsuccessful and was about to hand over my money for Orgasm, when I decided to check out the neighboring Bobbi Brown counter. I saw Maui and thought it was exactly what I was looking for!

Though this ended up looking a lot pinker than it did under the department store lights, I still love it and have been using it every day since I bought it. The MUA instructed me to apply it all over my face as a bronzer, but I've been using it as a blush, applying on apples of my cheeks and a little swept up. I don't really see the bronzing quality of this, but it's definitely illuminating and makes my face glow in this wintry weather!

Package is great, as with most BB items. $33 is more than I spend on blushes, but so far this has been worth it.

I love this blusher/bronzer. It really is illuminating. It isn't really a bronzer but it's not quite as pigmented as a blush. I apply it with the ecotools bronzer brush across my forehead and cheeks and "high points" of the face which naturally catch the sun and it gives me a beautiful, healthy, natural looking flush. It has a little bit of shimmer but not so much as to be distracting or emphasize my pores. The big bronzer brush is great for a light, all-over application or you can use a blush brush to build up the colour a little more to wear as a blush. I usually sweep this lightly across my cheeks, bridge of my nose, and around my hairline at the temples and forehead and then use a pop of whatever blush I want to wear on the apples of my cheeks. It is a pinky/peach not quite bronze colour and it looks great with pink and coral blushes (I generally use a matte blush when I'm wearing this so I don't overdose on shimmer). This is a great double duty product and I highly recommend it.
