I am really surprised by this product and I am loving it. It was half off at a drugstore so I thought why not (the word "sheer" got me). Unlike other reviewers, I don't mind the thickness of the cream as it blends in nicely and does not feel heavy on top of my skin. I love that they make a 50spf and it seems to screen the sun very well. I don't use it on my face and my only complaint is that it has a light, play-dough scent but that fades quickly and I prefer that to a fake, coconut smell (or any other added in fragrance). If you are not afraid of using a cream I would highly recommend this.

I love this product! When I use a thin sunscreen it washes away quickly & I burn! This sunscreen stays put, smells great & doesn't dry out my skin like the aerosole sprays! I'll never use another!

I just used this yesterday, and I hate it!! It is so thick!! I also, like other reviewers, thought it would be a mouse or light lotion texture. It was so hard to rub in, and leaves a white glow if you don't rub extra hard. The smell was a very faint one, which I disliked, b/c when I put on sunscreen, I want to smell it so strongly. I LOVE the smell of anything beachy! I was in the sun for 2 hours and didn't even get a tan though, so it does work, but I won't be using it again.

I wanted to like this but it's just too thick to use. The "sheer" in the name is a real joke. Also, the word "lotion" is wrong too - it's pretty much a cream in a mousse can - & it doesn't come out light & moussey, it comes out just like thick cream from a jar.


I preferred Hawaiian Tropic b/c I wanted a tropical fruity smell in my sunscreen that Hawaiian Tropic is known for.


It cost me $14 to end up with a sunscreen I don't like. I ended up keeping it (never got around to returning it) & since it's SPF 50 I'll save it for use on my face when in the sun (which I rarely ever am here in the big city - tall bldgs cast shadows everywhere).


It does feel weightless on the skin (after it has FINALLY absorbed in & the greasiness dies down - takes about 10 minutes). But because it's so thick & difficult to spread into the skin, I absolutely won't buy this again. It's too much work.

I like the smell of this sunscreen (it's the only sunscreen that doesn't smell bad) but this lotion is hard to rub in. I love it except for the greasy feeling.

Sheer Touch Creme Lotion is part of the new line of Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen products. According to Hawaiian Tropic: "Indulge and protect your skin with our line of Skin Beauty Protection products. Rich, creamy formulas infused with an exotic blend of flora and fruit extracts provide your skin with optimal coverage. Now with our new and improved signature tropical coconut scent!"

This Creme Lotion comes in a can and dispenses like shave cream. I was expecting a mousse-like product but it is actually a very thick cream. The thickness of the product makes it a bit difficult to rub on. It feels heavy going on and you might expect this to feel greasy. Once on it actually leaves no sticky, heavy residue. Your skin will feel soft throughout the day. This product has a light tropical coconut scent which fades after application.

I used this product for one week in hot, sunny Orlando and never got a burn, not even pink. It worked great. It worked so well that my friends may think I never went on vacation. If you are seeking great sun protection give this a try.

I'm taking off one lippie only because the product is heavy on application and I can't see the contents left in the can.
